J.David is also available! Dunno why we arent looking for him, only 6months left on his contract and banging on goals for many seasons now.

Arda Guler is another one we should try for, getting little playing time at Madrid, but he is a special kind of talent, the one that could win ballon d’or in the future.

I don’t really understand how Barcelona can be in for Rashford when they can’t even register players they currently “own”.
Inter are looking at landing Donnarumma. If he thought he had it bad when he left Milan for PSG, imagine this actually happens. He’ll be crucified upside down by the ultras

That's how you know media is gettin bored haha. Barca can't even keep the players they have.

I think Rashford will be a Milan player personally it just seems concrete

I'd rather play Emerson Royal at striker saves us spending more $

It's not same if your 5M is 8% of what top earners get or 60%.  It's not same if you're payed 5M at Real, Milan or Atalanta. Expectations are different. If you have "balls" to ask Atalanta for that money, you're expected to be star player. And you will have to deliver that. Or to face deserved shitstorm. Similar for Milan. Most of the people, do expect (with good reason) more than just ok for that money. Theo is payed 5,1M, Royal 4,7M. Why not expect similar ratio on the field as well?
Since you mentioned Dest, let's use him and Royal as example how it should work. They both had few bad seasons behind them. Dest went from Barcelona to PSV, he got 3,somethingM salary at PSV. He was payed 6,something at Barca. That's around 50% salary drop. Now look at Royal. At Spurs he was payed 2,5M per season. But in Milan he's 4,7M. That's almost 50% salary INCREASE. WTF? How? Why? Based on what? I doubt that Gerry went to London, put gun on Royal's head and said "You must sign for doubled salary or I'll shoot you". So dude had balls to ask for double salary despite being flop reject (how and why he was granted that request is for deep psychiatric analysis of folks who did that) and now some people be butthurt when fans expect from him? Leave "poor guy" at peace? Seriously?

I think there's some "mixing" going on. Emerson Royal is on 4.7m GROSS and 2.5m NET. Theo is on 5.25 GROSS and 4m NET (still had the growth decree tax benefit).

Gross, yes. They're "pillaging" club's vault in gross not net. It's how much you cost your employer and what he expects in return. Taxes after that are "between" you and country, it has nothing to do with club.

I don't disagree on that point. I actually don't even give a shit how much they get paid. I expect the same from all of them when it comes to sacrifice and effort. Skill level/talent, that's another thing.

I was pointing out the net/gross because there was a mention that Emerson doubled his wages at Milan. He didn't. He actually gets paid (around) the same.

If you're using Capology, don't. It's not accurate and they also mix quite a bit between gross/net. What i mean is, they are not consistent with what they call it. At times the columns say gross, but the numbers are net.

Sacrifice and effort are expected from all. But skills and talents are things which define salary differences. How much you bring to the table other than "pure running". If you're good finisher who can bring 20 goals per season, good there's few millions extra for that. Why not give 10M per year to Junior Messias? He sucks big time in skills and talents, but he's unmatched when it comes to effort. If you ask for big $$ than you are expected to give more than just effort.

Capology have separate columns for gross and net. When you enter page - by default, salaries are in gross. There is button to switch to net.
Don't know exactly about reliance, they have that "Verified" mark for most of the salaries, yes, it don't need to mean anything, it could be just made up "verification", but they're often used as source in "big media", so I guess they're onto something if not all.

As for Emerson, depends how you look at it. When you negotiate salary you're negotiate it in gross. When you get paycheck you get it in gross. "Your employer sent you this much, we took this much for taxes, this much for this, this for that - you're left to spend this much(net)". He is getting 4,7M each year. He asked to get 4,7M transferred each year to his account. What's left to him solely is between him and country.
