Feyenoord vs AC Milan

Boban: So many games thrown away, so many bad choices by the club and the players. The time has come to take stock. We have never experienced a Milan-like season this year. Tonight Theo is truly the big culprit. I'm sorry, but he's been doing it for years. And he deserves it.

Conceicao: The atmosphere here at Milan isn't the best and the sending off proves it: we have to work on this. Believe me, it's not easy, it's not easy. We have to change the environment. I'm not talking about the fans.

Curva sud and the imilan fan base is the loudest voice to change things. The truly sad thing though is we don’t look like we have a planned course. Seems like we pick a road and once we start on it , we decide to switch course and start the journey all over again.

We got Felix on the team and we are treating him like the second coming of kaka , seems like all the players have a hard on for him. Santi is a team player that’s easy to see but Felix seems like a guy trying to get stock back up and would jump ship instantly.

I am still mad. I don't remember any Milan player single-handedly lost such an important game the way that Theo Hernandez did today.

Even the most notorious ones, such as Deportivo, Liverpool, they were often collective failure, so it wouldn't be fair to point fingers on a single player. Even on those games that were lost by one player, they are still different. Billy Costacurta cost us the 1994 Toyota Cup, but he was just unlucky (really unlucky). Gabbia and Maignan, I think they were also just unlucky. Even Musah with his idiotic game against Zagreb, you can see that he was just stupid but he was passionate. I don't even think that Theo cared any more. It almost felt like he was out to sabotage.

What the hell was SC thinking when he took off all our attackers but kept Joao Felix? He is quickly turning into a frustrating-to-watch player. Anybody thinks that we will redeem Joao Felix this summer? I would save the rumored 40M... Not that I can trust this current management to spend the money wisely anyway.

Thanks to shitty performances of Atalanta and Milan, Italy won't be getting another CL spot, making it more difficult to get into CL next season
Forza Diavolo ale!!!

Schira: Milan’s management are furious with Hernandez for the red card against Feyenoord. The French left back could be fined. His contract expries in June 2026 and there is no agreement to extend.

Sure, ticket/merch sales might decrease by a percentage, but how much is that going to cost them really? 10m a year tops? Their focus on generating revenue is on TV broadcasting/streaming rights and commercial sponsorships anyway. As long as those deals come in, fans can't really make that big of a difference. Unfortunately, the economics of professional sports has evolved to a point where the fans do not actually make that big of a difference any more, sad but true

That's because most of the fans (in the USA especially) are benevolent circus spectators. Italy, I'm afraid is close to that. There is no more serious fans in Italy like it was 20-30 years ago. At least not much. When it comes to "big" leagues, only England is still holding. And there is example how Gerry should be handled. Same way English fans won their battles against American owners. When angry mob blocks the stadium and start torching club venues, ready to burn everything to the ground, than damage won't be 10M it will be 500M. And all of sudden, surprise, surprise, money can be found and invested.

P.S. I am being serious. I am even debating if I should watch more Milan games this season. Need to watch out for my own mental health. Grinundwech

Don't watch those game for decade now, apart from Zvezda and Milan games. Just saw results on livescore Tongue

Theo acted stupidly, but management should take a look in the mirror first...

Same. Just saw that PSG 10:0 Brest over two legs and M'Bappe scored a hattrack past City. Looks like the divorce between them makes both sides happy. Smile

Juventus is tied with PSV with a few minutes to go. Don't care if they win or lose. Extra time is going to do wonder to them.  Icon_lol2

Probably will check livescore again in a few hours.  Icon_lol2
