I think Allegri is being brought in to shore up the defense. He has good attack, better than 2017 when he made it to the final. That defensive 3 was plus keeper was another level though. If we can overhaul the useless players we have at the back and bring in 1 established CB like Buongiorno and/or a young CB like Antonio Silva then we would be ok. We could do a back 3 of Buongiorno/Silva, Thiaw, Walker with Pavlovic and Gabbia as subs
