I don't know man. I don't see our struggles as a lack of quality within the players. To be, it's all mentality and coaching. Allegri has this team conditioned to be safe. We move the ball so damn slow. Are we saying that Modric forgot how to play football? Or are we saying that Rabiot all of a sudden doesn't know how to attack the box with intensity. No way. At least, imo. We need aggression on the ball. We need intensity in the movements off the ball. We need the mentality to suffocate opponents and beat them down. Please note...this can be done with a high or a low press block. It's not in the press, or lack of press. But instead, it's all about what you do and what the plan is (instructions are) once you have the ball. If you are in a low block, once you win it, you gotta create counters right away as the other team is advanced and out of position. With intensity and pace. Aggression. Instead, our first thought is safety. It's to retain the ball and play it safe. not to attack. 

Allegri had done well to stabilize things and create a compact group in the 1st half of the season. We were not good going forward, but I always thought that would come in the 2nd part of the season once he ahd fixed the spacing and defensive awareness). But it hasn't. The man is calculating the # of points it would take to get to the CL and that's the football he is playing. We saw it against Napoli. And honestly, we see it every week. We don't try to win games off the get-go. We play slow. We are happy with 1 point. We are not conditioned to kill off opponents. 

We for sure have holes in the squad. But there is good players and also quality there.

In a game where we were behind, like yesterday, Leao didn't pass the ball forward at least once. Pulisic had run forward and was on the wing, it required a pass not a cross or anything, Leao passed back. This is coaching, even a lazy bad winger will do the forward pass.

I don't know who we can have if Allegri is not here, I highly doubt he will leave but my doubt is not relevant. Please don't mention the likes of Sarri, not a fan But since this is the mercato thread I will repeat for 1000th time, I am 10000% against another year zero.

My previous comment was made in frustration shortly after the worst match of the season and 4 losses in our last 7 matches. I'm fed up with the Allegris of football, just play to win. Always.

Well everything is up for the rumour, not just Allegri and Tare but how many may leave and of course newspapers dig up money spent stats. As if we being bad in market is breaking news. I love the English sites who translate Gazzetta and other articles but they should not take the bait on every thing written about Milan. Doom and gloom all the way lol.

Gazzetta: Ismael Bennacer will return to Milan this summer, with Dinamo Zagreb not planning to use their option to buy.

They were never buying him. With a year left on his contract won't be able to loan him out hence may have to stay given his large salary. Will be like a new signing...

Daniele Longo reports that Mario Gila is almost a done deal. He’ll join with preferably another CB as well.

Also according to Luca Bianchin, Jorge Mendes will offer Goncalo Ramos to Milan. I wouldn’t mind him and he’s scored 12 goals since joining. A goal every 117 minutes. Plus he’s young (24).

My guess is that as of today 30%, if we miss CL 50%. A lot of current articles are feeding on the negativity. Doubt it is more than 50% overall.
