This "idea" briefly came to my mind this morning ... but left it as quickly as it came !!

We aren't that broke. Selling Thiago Silva (or Pato or Ibra) and saving on the wages of the senators we would've covered that typical 65-70 mln debt we have each year and Berlusconi has to fish in his pockets for. So with this we are going beyond that. We aren't at the brink of bankruptcy where we either accept the offer or perish. I wouldn't be complaining as much if it weren't for the fact that we now know Silva's actual value, which we rejected.

It's simple : Galliani and Berlusconi probably want to build a limit to our wages. To be done, we need to sell our most paid players. But if Thiago Silva leaves while earning 6M, that means Robinho has to accept to be paid less or he should leave too.

Then, our club will make some profit and we will have some budget on the mercato each season, which could become interesting when (if) Berlu gives some money sometimes ...

Terrible scenario IMO, but I try to look at the positive things !!

Only if selling players like Silva and Ibra can bring in positive results. What if selling them and missing CL next year? While also crashing out of CL. Although Milan made it to the quarters but they only managed to win 5 games in the past 2 CLs. As for the league, I doubt they won't make it to that 3rd spot, but what if injuries hit Boateng and Pato like this past year. Cassano wanting out after Ibra and Silva leave. Can Milan count on Robinho, SES and Pato for a whole season.

In today's world, if you can't sustain your business while others can(Juve, ManU, Barca, Bayenr, Real), it only means you are doing it wrong.

Sell the club, Berlu, sick and tired of this crap.

I've always supported our management as I always believed they did what was best for the club and managed the club astutely, albeit with mistakes over the years. This summer I honestly believe the management are close to ruining everything they've built over the past 26 years, never mind ruining the image and name of the club.

I'm not talking about Thiago Silva and Ibra here. This problem is bigger than them. It's a matter of disgracing what this club is and means to millions of people all around the world. I'm sick of seeing us prostitute ourselves on the market and the management pleasuring themselves everytime we see money put in front of us. I'm sick of seeing us humiliated everytime the dreaded mercato comes around and us caught with our pants down, with our only response being fatalistic defeatism.

For the first time in 25 years of supporting Milan, I can say I'm embarassed to support this club, something which Istanbul, La Coruna, Kaka, Sheva, Juve's 6-1 or Marseille's lights out never managed to achieve.

In France, nobody sees Milan this way ...
I don't think anybody thinks about Milan in these terms in Spain (except Marca and the other tabloid I forgot the name, both see Barcelona and Real Madrid like the only real clubs in the world), nor in England or anywhere else in Europe.

The only people who talk that badly of Milan are us, the fans. We shouldn't care about what the others think anyway.

PS : We were an old and finished team in 2006, and then, with the same team, we won CL in 2007 ... And suddenly, we were a big team. We have won nothing for years, and in 2011, we won Serie A. Suddenly, we became a new contender for CL whereas our team played very badly for the whole 2011-2012 season. Medias and people don't care about transfers, they only care about the results and the titles.

At this moment europe have much more serious problems to worry about....!!!!!!!!!!!!LOL.
Do not blame Galliani or Braida for this MEGA Transfer. They have to obey the orders/Policies coming from FININVEST.

The Italian economy is in it's worst time. This will have effect also on sponsors. Fininvest had to pay that enormous sum of money due to the Montadori case, so Galliani is doing a great job.
He has to built a competitive team when the club financial situation is around 70 mils in red and no money are coming from the MOTHER company.
If Milan keeps Ibra and Silva without buying more key players still remains without trophies, so it is better to sell them now.
Price tag plus salaries is estimated around 170 Mls.
Reduce the 70 Mls in red, and Galliani will have 100 Mls to operate in this mercato and even next to built a very good young base of a team. (He can do miracles with money in his hand)
Then in future when the Italian economy stands again on its feet Milan can buy TOP players again to chalenge for Champions League again.

Thats how I am looking at this picture.......... you see it is painless to be positive in life......LOL LOL
