Summer mercato 2012
T. Silva was one of the best defenders in circulation. No doubt we lost a crucial part of our team.

However, he was a bit overrated. 47 million euros is madness for a defender, no matter how good. I think if we get Astori I'd be okay with the departure. Still hurts, but okay.

We picked him from Fluminese after he had endured a horrible time at Porto and Dynamo Moscow. What's to say we can't unearth another player in a similar way?

I want to see how Acerbi performs. I am all for an Italian line-up of players. Young and solid Italian players that is.

I don't think it was coincedence that Italy played the FInal of Euro2012. Italian players are still, IMO, amongst the best in the world and they have been schooled with the right mentality. I find it laughable when people say that Italy reaching the Final was luck. Not here, but I have heard it being said.

Sell Robinho buy Destro.
Sell Ibra buy Dzeko
Sell Silva buy Astori/Ogbonna

Bring on the new era, sono pronto.
Since PSG can't get Vidal, maybe they will buy Boateng too.

I see no signs of a plan, be it a youth movement or otherwise. Let's hope but I am not optimistic.

I'm sorry about giving opinion about Silva's leadership too quickly, because it is hard to prove or deny the leadership of a good player.

However, I just want to be clear. Saying a player is not perfect doesn't mean I underestimate him or ignore his contribution. He is still one of the best CB and it is stupid to sell him at this time.

Neither do I. I am putting hope in a modicum of common sense our management may have left in some forgotten, musty, dark recess of their mind.

It's all we have right now.
Technically we still have Ibra. Dodgy

actually they won the game vs Bosnia, 2-1 (albeit due to a late own goal from Papac)

Dear God no. If that happens I will really start to ponder whether or not Leo is trying to destroy us. Or maybe he loves Milan so much he wants to create his own but with the spending power of the Qataris.

For example by selling Ibra for 25M, then you have to find his replacement at price range from 0 to 10M. If we sell him and then buy Dzeko for 20M, his selling will be of no use in the first place (we sold Ibra for money but end up in getting only 5M profit and a worse replacement - Dzeko may be having potential but currently nobody could be in a same level with Ibra).

Same if we sell Robinho for 20M, you have to find his replacement in price range of less than 10M at least. If we sell Boateng for 20M, Strootman must be bought for less than 10M.

And sylrus, people are talking up Cassano and Boateng to leave because when rumours about Silva leaving first appear, they spoke of a possibility to leave if Silva leaves.

let me say this 1st
its hypothetical
if robinho is sold for 20 ofcourse i know we will not find a replacement around that number, but around 10-15 maybe or even less and from the players that i mention, im still thinking of getting some profit from the sale

i said cassano wouldnt leave because not many people will give him faith in their team and not many teams gonna buy him with high price, maybe only sampdoria will try to lure him back, but at what cost?? definitely not a high price
then about boateng, i think he will generate more money, and why strootman, because i think either montolivo, constant or traore will play am

dont get me wrong, its just my guess, i can still be wrong

Are you suggesting a bidding war between PSG and Real Madrid? That would be good business for Milan, even though I am sure Galliani will always find a way to mess it up. Devilol

I would eat my hat if T. Silva went to PSG this summer, after renewing his contract. He will, however, I think, leave in 2013, as I have maintained all along.

What infuriates me is that media outlets are treating us as a supermarket. I blame our finances and poor pr for this, but sometimes it's just pure fabrication. Piersilvio says he likes Carrol, and the media invents stories that we're after him. If we sign that ponytailIbra-lite I will enter a sustained period of depression.

Do rumours of Rooney to PSG suface everyday? No. Do rumours of Pirlo to PSG surface everyday? No. As far-fetched as these rumours would be, it feels like only our club is being dragged around as if we're poor. Thank you berlusconi and galliani for puling in the media. Thank you. Really.

I actually don't ask for much. Let's keep our team as it is, and move forward, minimizing the injuries and improving our financial future. Rumours of buying the San Siro come and go...I know it's not easy, but there has to be a bonafide interest in moving things forward (waiting for legge crimi to pass in Italy seems all in vain). Berlusconi runs this club at a distance, and intervenes at the most inopportune times with the most bizarre comments.

Just be serious about running this club the way it deserves to be run. And if you're not (as it appears Berlusconi may not be) then pls sell some of it to people who will. We have two stars in T. Silva and Ibra. If we cannot hold onto them then shame on us and our status as a big club.

The way it develops (the transfer market barely opens, and we have survived rounds of attack on Silva already), I don't think that Silva could survive too many summers indeed. It would be a miracle if Silva sees out his contract with Milan. Blush Confused

By the way, is your hat made by chocolate?
