The pressure of taking Milan on his shoulders is definitely having an impact on him. The fact that he is getting his dribbles and shots wrong clearly has more to do with his psychological state (or physical) than whether or not Ibra is nearby or not. If he and Nocerino will be as good this year is another question, which I'm interested in seeing. Getting rid of Ibra has its pros and cons. You can play a freer, non-Ibra-dependent game but at the same time there are players who will nurture from playing off of Ibra. Seeing as we are lost as a team so far, obviously things were better with Ibra.
About Nocerino in the NT. I haven't seen the WC qualifiers but I did see the EUROs, where he didn't get much playing time. He did do his usual runs in the box and overall I think he was good and deserved more playing time. The thing is though that Italy were playing very well and there was service into the box. The same cannot be said about this Milan. So I would say Noce is player who needs the team (or Ibra) to be on form for him to shine, whereas some other players can make the difference on their own. Boateng may or may not be this type of player.
