Why not ?..he was €25M last year.At that age oh lord ,we need good players NOW!! (not that we have a chance) ,lots of Milan fans have a fear of age 28 is in no way old what do you want all 21 yr olds ?

Hes a better player than all our mids we have now all ,he went through some bad form in a mis firing team with a bizarre coach situation for a bit.
Hed elevate our mid instantly...what would you pay for a 28 yr old very good creatively gifted mid that can score 10+ goals a season with experience anf knowledge of Italian football ?

I was hoping that we'd trade Matri with Hernanes but apparently Galliani allowed him to choose his next club and he chose Fiorentina. I bet deep down he knew he wouldn't be able to compete with an oft-injured 35-year old striker Klose and picked the club whose pair of strikers will surely be out for months. Chicken!

From what I read, there were a few options (ranked according to Galliani's preference)
1. Sampdoria: Matri didn't want to go there; Sampdoria also claimed they could afford him (nice way to save dignity :d)
2. Lazio: Lotito rejected the exchange idea involving Hernanes;
3. Fiorentina: after the first two failed, I think our attitude changed to "whatever, just gtfo".

That's totally fucked up and so disgusting. Those teams with a great midfield already are getting further strengthened. Nainggolan to Roma. Jorginho to Napoli. What next? Hernanes and Verratti to Juventus?

Just a rumour , but I can see it happening.We are in a shambles right now .We've no coach (YET I know its imminent) a huge amount of useless overpaid underperforming players, an owner that will not invest.What Napoli and Roma are doing is what good sides do , its smart its planning.And us ? what will do ....I think we'll prob end up with the likes of Pandev Dzemaili Bradley etc... the more things change the more they stay the same.No spending unless its very cheap or better free.
In June/July/August when sides were strenghtening what were we doing ? discussing Allegri , how he should leave or be fired.Now here we are in Jan he's been fired anyway , only money ALL our summer mercato budget was spent on Matri 4 months later we give him away, we're 20 points of a UCL place 10 off a EL place and wait 6 yes 6 points off relegation , again discussing coaches no reinforcements that we desperately need , we knew Honda Rami were ours...but we needed more im not being greedy we literally need new good players.

I still wonder which midfielder Galliani now has in mind. Didn't he say something to the effect that we would probably buy a midfielder that we can use in UCL? Of course it could be one of his meaningless garbage talks to distract people, and again and again people would fall for it. Shame on us.

On the two new players, I do like Honda, but not so much on Rami, at least not yet. Someone calls him "chubby" and that makes me giggle. I like Dev's calling that our group of CBs are just a bunch of bufoons and Rami is going to be one of them. That made me laugh my ass off, shortly after though, I just wanted to cry.
