The last time I check, Milan got shut out by the Spurs in both games, a team barely made it into the Europa League next season.
As much as I think these old players deserve respect but there is a time when the club needs to move on and not hang on to past glory, there is also the time that the players must realize they no longer can play at the level require consistently. That is something players don't get. I still remember what Kala said about not playing in Milan, as he stated something like he was in good form and playing well but the coach/Leo never choose me. When I read that, I was like, what the heck is Kala smoking, as he has not play even average since 2004.
Seedorf is important. No, he's not in his prime but he still delivers. Remember his performance against Inter (second match). Also, look at his passing game and vision. Then tell me he's crap... You can't blame Seedorf for Milan's dismal failure in CL. Half of our squad was down and out with injuries - how many times has Seedorf been injured?
If he accepts a one-year contract and a role as a substitute (depending on wether we buy a new attacking midfielder or not), Seedorf should stay.
I maintain my position that we first and foremost need a fresh defensive midfielder to replace Gatusso, perhaps someone with more technical skills but with the same work ethic. Secondly, we should find an attacking midfielder (I'm not very fond of Fabregas!).

True, but Slowdorf is not the only exp., player in Milan.
You have MVB, Ambro and Gattuso in mid, Pippo in attack, Nesta and Yepes in the back. Guys like T. Silva, Cassano, Ibra, Robinho, Flamini, Zambro, even Mexes and Taiwo are all pretty much have close to 10 years pro. exp., each playing in different leagues and clubs. So Milan is really not a team fill with teenagers or 22 yrs old.
You need a good balance of youth and exp, but with all the talks about rebuilding a dynasty.....having a 34 yrs old, who walks in all but a few games in a season is really great example of showing youth how to be a pro player.

In Serie A, winning 3 pts against Inter worth as much as winning 3 pts against Lecce. Yes, winning the derby is emotional and spiritual more satisfying but no matter how you look at it, 3 pts are just 3 pts. Its funny, how you blame the team for playing bad and not Slowdorf but you only praise Slowdorf when things are good but not the the team for playing good football in general.
Look at the games that played not in April, and if you think Slowdorf is not crap than I am sorry to say, the recent Milan post 07 has made your standard drop to an average level.

Yes, I agree with you. That's why I also don't like when Seedorf extends his contract. I only think that Seedorf probably player like Cafu, Favalli who (seems) like to help young players. With Gattuso, Ambrosini who are leaders we actually have enough senior who are respected by other players. Me personally tend to let Seedorf out. If he is out, Galliani said we will buy two (good) players. And I hope it is Ganso + good CM (Asamoah's quality is realistic, Hamsik's level is surprise).

I read that Riola is now the agent of Hamsik. Can anyone confirm that since I read that over at a Chinese news site?
If that is the case, we can all count down to the arrival of Hamsik. Then Asamoah, and maybe Hernanes too.
TO be honest, Milan spent about 50 Mil or so on transfer fees in getting new players last season,(not including Boateng) while sold about 33 mil over the past season(Hunter, Dinho, and Borri). Lets say Boateng will cost about another 8mil. Then Milan would have spent 25mil in players in the 2010-11 season.
Now, if Milan can sell Bonera, Papa, Oddo, Flamini and Dilac, they could come up with about 25mil or so. Even if Milan spend as much as this past season of 25 mil, thats a total of 50 mil. Good enough to get Hernanes, Hamsik and another Boateng like player.
Does Prandelli hate Abate? He is not even called up for Italy?

Yep, considering Abate is not only the best RB in Serie A, he is also easily a top 5 RB around the world.

He didn't have a good game against us it's true, but he is a very talented player, good on the ball and able to close spaces well. I think he'll fit really well at Milan because his pressing game is excellent.

I couldn't believe Prandelli left him out either. Honestly the guy deserves a chance now.

Flamini is about 8-10 mil. Oddo will at least get 3 mil. Papa is about 6mil. While Bonera is about 4 mil. I also have Dilac on the list and I think he can be about 4 mil. Thus, Milan should get about 25 mil for them.

Btw: We are going to register Taiwo as a non-EU player, despite him getting his passport. Instead we are hoping the FIGC changes the rules back to 2 players or alternatively not getting a non-EU player at all. If they play in Serie A though it's fine, they don't count then. Okay fair enough. Although maybe we should keep Dilac or loan him. He wasn't that bad last game.
