Where did all the money go from the Kaka & Shevchenko sales???

Hamsik & Ganso each cost €30 Million = €60 Million. We've definitely managed to get our wages under control a bit in recent years, particularly this year.

Having said that, I say (1) Gift (Ganso, Hamsik, Schweinsteiger) + 1 mediocre signing (Asahmoah, Witsel, Aquilani).

Kakà's sale is known to have gone to balance our books, no question about it.

Sheva's sale I don't know, since there wasn't so much talk about balancing books back then. Firstly I recall us signing Ricardo Oliveira for about € 19 million, which nearly half of the Sheva-cash. Anyway that sale was 4 years ago so that money is gone somewhere.

Merkel has gone on loan to Genoa and in return Milan are moments away from signing up Stephan El Shaarawy on a co-ownership deal.

I saw this name, El Shaarawy, linked with us for some days/weeks now, but seriously, who is he ? Where does he play ? How good is he ?

I just know he is a young trequartista ...

Stephan El Shaarawy is an Egyptian/Italian (Eyyptian father, Italian mother), he plays as an AM or sometimes WF, he has blistering pace (quicker than Pato imo) and he is a little like Messi and Dinho as in he is a very skillful dribbler but also likes to try a trick, he is only 18/19 and was on loan from Genoa at Padova last season, he was their talisman and vital to them getting to the Serie B playoffs, he scored 7 in about 25 games, he is 1.80 tall so for his age could finish quite a tall guy, Preziosi said he is the next big thing for the Azzurri if given time to mature with no pressure and i for one am very excited at the prospect of him considering my interista friends said there was no chance of us signing him.

Ok, the question is: is he good enough to be a part of our first team ? Padova in Serie B and Milan in Serie A and CL is very different ...

he is as good maybe a little better than Merkel and Strasser imo so i believe he would be good enough as a squad player, let him have 30 minutes etc at the end of games, i believe we will leave him at Genoa though for this season as they have recalled him from Padova and wanted him to play this season, we will have the co-ownership but leave him with the parent club.
