This basically says that offical Napoli school supplies only features Cavani and Lavezzi - No Hamsik. Calciomercato is saying this is one of the reasons to believe Hamsik is on his way out of Napoli and into a Milan kit.

Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis commented on Erik Lamela and insisted “Marek Hamsik is worth more than Alexandre Pato.”

I see this as simple posturing from an owner.

But let's say it comes to that - trading Pato for Hamsik. Would everyone be ok with that? Normally, I would never consider that deal. Pato is a star Serie A striker. His production speaks for itself. But the problem isn't his performance when he's on the pitch. The problem is what keeps him off the pitch - his injuries. Getting rid of Pato would eliminate one of the bigger questions in our lineup - Pato's fitness. With him gone, the logjam we have in attack would be gone. To be honest, I already envisioned next season to be primarily Binho and Ibra in attack with Pato playing between his injuries.

But in spite of all the injury issues, I still wouldn't make that deal. Pato is still young and selling him now I think would be a big mistake. Imagine if he has an injury free year next year - think of the offers that would come for him next summer. Madrid might offer us 75 million!

It's best to offer Cassano plus a few million and if that's not enough - let's get Asamoah and spend money on Ganso.

We can't sell Pato anymore, mate. He belongs to Barbara. He's untouchable now Devilol
We got the young 'un's. We take out big gunz  Devilcool

Pato and barbara for Messi?Sagrin
Why should we sell Cassano? His wage is pretty low, a wage for subs player. He give us more option and could be decisive in Champions League. Milan should have money to buy midfielder without selling Cassano since Cassano was almost free when Milan got him. This is the first time we have super sub like Cassano, something we had when Serginho played for Milan. I won't sell Cassano even for Hamsik.

Obviously I'd rather keep Cassano and simply spend money on Hamsik (along with Ganso). But if the only realistic way for us getting Hamsik is to part with Cassano, then we should do it. I'd rather have a starting XI midfielder of Hamsik caliber than a supersub. Cassano sitting on our bench might be a luxury we just can't afford.

And if we have a lot of funds, then can use it for Ganso. Our attacking depth suffers, but our starting XI would be really darn good.

just my opinion.
We're linked to drogba again.. what would you guys think about having him? I think he would be good as a vice-ibra, not that we really really need one, likewise its just a luxury but his wages will probably be ridicioulous so it may not be affordable.. As far as this cassano business goes i wouldn't sell cassano, we got him for nothing, he's not playing on high wages and he's still a great player imo, buying hamsik and ganso is looking likely, i dont know how cassano will fit in the squad if we do
i think drogba should start over Ibra in the big CL games where he likes to disappear... but thats if we even get drogba
I would take him in a JayCrisp minute. But I don't think he'll take a bench role then again he may be great and Ibra might be on the bench.

You won't give it up with this Vice-Ibra thing.

Ibrahimovic, Pato, Robinho, Cassano, Inzaghi

We're not buying anymore strikers, and not Drogba at 33 years old. So far we've bought (2) players for FREE, and did a swap merkel-for-el sharaway

So, I wouldn't count on Didier Drogba....
We shouldn't buy strikers and don't need strikers is correct in my opinion, we will not buy any I am not so sure.
The way our team is set up only 2 of Ibrahimovic, Pato, Robinho, Cassano, Inzaghi will get regular playing time. That in itself is a challenge, I would even go as far as saying that's Allegri's biggest challenge this year. If Ibra wasn't getting himself suspended, if Pato didn't have some injuries and if Pippo wasn't injured this would have been a challenge even last season.
