try downloading NT, then go to the stream you want to see, right click on the stream itself, check properties, copy its URL then paste it on NT.. You should have it downloaded in no time.. BTW, Kaká scored an absolute screamer for Brazil! Forza Kaká!

1) Yes, of course. The primrary purpose of NT is that it allows you to download the video COMPLETELY, so that you can watch it without lagging. The reason you are watching a lagging movie is because you view it faster than it is downloaded.
2) You can't find where it is because you saved it somewhere else. You could change where you wanted to save to, but you needed to set it before you download it. Usually if you just leave it without altering where you want to save, it'll be saved to C:/
3)It's good for downloading the whole program without lagging. For instance, if you are loading the CL game from uefa.com video, sometimes you would lag. If you trace the link, and then download the video (by putting the link in there), specify where you want to save it, say on the desktop, then when you finish it, you can watch the video in full, without a single lagging.
Lastly, I'm not sure if Rachel and Shevachenko-7 has noticed, you can actually increased the number of thread down there when you dl the video from most of the sources. For instance, if you download the videos from acmilan.com, you can actually download it with 10 threads, which means that the video is downloaded in 10 different route, which is, to make it short, extremely fast. Unfortunately, the uefa.com video could only give you about 2 thread or 5 threads, I couldn't remember, but it's justa matter of time. For most of the website, they won't limit the no. of thread downloading.

For example , with videos from acmilan.com , just right click on the
clip's screen , choose "properties" , copy and paste the part beginning with "mms://.." to the NT's clipboard , then ..here you go ..;) :tong:

YOu should try downloading with two thread and then 10 thread. U should have noticed that in NT there is a speed downloading value. It should have increased. If that doesn't settle your curiosity, you may click on the "thread" and see how the video is downloaded. You should discover that, with two thread, the video is downloaded by two 'start', while if you have 10 thread, you'll see 10 'start' when downloading. Common sense will tell you that it'll make the downloading faster.
Just a note. To increase no. of thread, simply right click on thread then choose increase... if the words say, "This site can resume broken download" this means that it works. If it says, "Conncetion: close" then the site has limited the no. of thread available for you to download.

Hi Guys,
I am seriously considering setting up a website where I will upload Milan goals in a decent resolution and good format - probably DivX, as a huge Milan fan I want to do something for my team. I have RAI International so I have access to all goals, I also have a TV capture card so I can capture the goals from my satellite feed.
My questions are the following:
1) Is there anyone already doing this in which case this would be redundant, all the clips I find on the net are small resolution and in rubbish formats asf, rm etc.
2) What are the legal issues regarding the capture of video material from RAI International and posting it on the Internet.
3) Are there any websites offering free webspace where I could upload the goals.
4) Would anyone be interested in this, if the answer to Number 1 is "no" of course.
1) divx has its advantages, but not everyone has it, just like RM etc... Also, HQ milan video goals are easy to find, you just have to look in the right places.
2) Its not about doing something illegal, but about being caught.
3) finding webspace shouldn't be a problem. FTP is better though.
4) the more the better.

I know Milan goal videos are pretty easy to find but the only ones I find have real rubbish quality, DivX allows you to pack more quality and resolution into the clip while still maintaining reasonable file sizes.
it would be great if you could provide us with HIGH quality vids..
and maybe some good skills by Kaká or an excellent save by Dida for instance..

Keep it on ftp, that should lessen your chances of getting caught to zero. And goals aren't so special, maybe you should make man of the match clips or nice team moves when they shift from attack to defense or something.
BTW, anyone got a clip on Ajax game (checking UEFA.com after this so if it's there, no need to mention it)
I like that, because goal clips arent that rare and the official site always gets it up on the site.. do something like acmilan.com did on Kaká when he assisted Cafu and Sheva vs Ancona..

Nah, skip the slow motion and music. Just synchronizing the sound takes twice as long time as a normal clip to make. Just get the important stuff which is the moves =)

Now if those of you who are in the US and in esp. those not-so-famous state like Vermont, I'll appreciate your absolute effort in making a website or ftp in which we can download ALL, I mean ALL, the goals. It would be an extra credit if you could make some nice tricks of the players, Man of the match etc, but if you could just GET the GOAL! I'll greatly appreicate becasue seriously, there is NO WAY to watch a single Milan match here, and you must know how desperate I am right now.
I absolutely support you. I"m not sure about DivX though. Can we donwload free version online? Don't get caught about the goal video is fine. Of course, if u use a ftp, the chance of getting it is almost zero.
I hope anyone of you can help me in watching Milan's CL game, as I say it one more time, there is NO WAY to watch a single Milan match over HERE, Middlebury Vermont!

http://dynamo.monomach.com is a Dynamo Kyiv fan website that has Ukranian full games for download. They use FTP, so the idea to do that for Milan games is feasible, and I would be all for it :) . They actually have Milan's games versus Real, Juve, Inter, and Roma(because of Sheva) still uploaded. It would be great if we could have a website like this for Milan games. Because alot of us can't see all of the games we would like too.
It looks like you guys would be really interested. I have already encoded my first highlight package (last night-Milan-Ajax), it contains the goal, the miracle save by dida, some Ajax attacks and a move by Kaka. I was messing around with DivX encoding and got the filesize down to 15MB for around 45 seconds of video. The problem is I have an upload cap on my Internet connection so I would not be unable to upload full games. The clip I have encoded is at a low resolution (320x240) but there is no blockiness as in most clips - I am still experimenting though. I realized that it is pretty hard to get quality sports clips because the constant movement causes much interference nad interlacing. Some of you guys say that Milan's attacks are too slow, not for video encoding they are'nt :D
Where could I upload it so that everyone here can get it. You guys say FTP server, where?

It's hard to say that. 15mb for a 49 second clip is a huge difference from a 9mb 4.09 clip. Some highlight files will just be too big for 56k users. Anything above 10mb is big for these users. Believe me. Been there, done that. But I'd like to see what you're doing. I seriously hope you'll take this somewhere. Thanx

Yes, I know how big DivX can be. A normal movie that's about 100-200mb+ can be about 700+ in DivX. I'm just commenting that anything too big can be a problem to people using 56k. IMO sounds not that important it's the video quality that it's mostly about. And with DivX it's pretty smooth. Anywayz as I said I'm cool wit anything. Wating for the upload.

I have an upload of ~450kb so I could help distribute as long as I get my server up. Also, DivX clips aren't for the needs of 56k, that's what you have .rm for.. hehe. Pointless to use DivX from the start in that case. The whole idea with the DivX alternative is quality plus saints choice of adding some things you usually don't see. saint could also encode two versions, big and small. Usually they're ~50mb for the big and ~10mb for the small. It's no problem to have both.

Div-x is unfortunately not a realistic option for 56k users. A football game lasts about as long as your average motion picture, which means that it should be about 600 mb in file size (maybe slightly higher), so for people who have fast connections it should only take like an hour or so to download. It would definitely be worth it. What we need is an ftp or something that the games can be uploaded to and downloaded from, and someone who gets the right tv stations and knows how to record these games and convert them into div-x format.

here is the question, which is one of the seldom sensible one:

But they left out the most important fact. The highlight packages will now cost money to watch. In order to watch them you will need to subsribe to the UEFA.com Action Pass service. It will cost $5.00 a month or $40.00 a year. They will also be offering full match replays which is great. Unfortunately for me I can never seem to subscribe to it. Last year it kept saying that thier were technical difficulties with my order.

Download a program called G-spot, it tells you what audio and video codecs you need. If you use subs, it's also a great resource
I just watched the first 35 minutes or so and I can just say that van der Meyde was really awful, I'd sub him earlier than Cuper did. He was wrong positioned all the time and he didn't even bother get into the situations when they were a yard away.
u might also want to try going to http://www.skynet4ever.tk/ , and download the SLD Codec Pack.......it worked for me before.....good luck!

Just watched the download. Damn, these Chinese commentators are funny:tong: . I'm guessing this is from a Hong Kong TV station. Cuz I was i Hong Kong for 2 days last year and I saw matches like these with the same icon and language. If I'm not wrong is that Cantonese. The codecs Goirre provided worked. But there seems to be some problem with the sound and visual coordination. A shot or a goal has passed for about 3-4 seconds before the commentator shout, "Aiyah!" and the crowds immense cheers can be heard. Anyone experienced this.
And I just realised, after watching the replay, that the culprit of Maldini's injury was....Ambro. He went in for Emre and tripped him. Then Maldini, who was pressuring Emre, tried to lift his foot over Ambro's and ended up falling awkwardly. Anyway thx ganjarb where do you find these clips. More would be appreciated.

Ok, These Chinese commentators are funny, this one I agree. And you are right again that they are speaking Cantonese. And yes I have problem with the lagging problem too.
However, it's not HK TV station because those names that they say (like ShevchenkO) is different from the way HK people called Shevchenko. There are a few logos from HK Cable TV too but not as much as the one you have seen.
I know all this because I am from Hong Kong. :D
So I guess it's somewhere in China where people speak Cantonese as well. Maybe Guandong. They have mentioned it in the game but I didn't pay attention to it.

that's because you probably forwarded or rewinded it.....then the image and sound get messed up with some seconds of difference. But if you let the video run without making forward or rewind then that problem wont happen.

U should try using NT to download. So far there is no problem in doing so. Don't forget to open 10 thread to download it.

that's it.. the best i got is 172 Mb, and now the link is gone. (Jeff, i can't use NT cause a proxy prohibition).
but i can't play this clip. at first i thought it was because the download is not complete, but my friend can play part of it (until sheva's goal) on his PC (using real media player). i tried to reinstall sldcodec and xvid codec, but still no good.
can anyone help me?

U need to ask someone who could send it online to you, msn or icq. Usually msn will work, if not try yahoo messenger.
That's all I can help. Download the real player again from real.com and see if it works.

When you are watching the video on acmilan.com click on properties and copy the url into wmp.

when I licked on your link, the windows media player (7.1) cam up and there was the sound but no video and it was black with nothing to see despite the clip apparently running. Can you tell me what's my problem ?

Can someone teach me how to dl the URL Snooper. My Net Transport just got deleted and I can't download it again as there is a problem with the site. I swear I'ma get the ****** that did this. Arghh!

Thanks Jeff but I can't use both. When I try to run the setup for NT, it says "could not initialize installation. File size expected=1331846, size returned=180707". And after I have extracted all the snooper files and try to run it, it says "failed to start because WPCAP.DLL was not found. Can anyone help.

1st: Which means that you did not download the NT installation properly.
Try this:

This is the official website. You should be able to download everything. If you still can't do it, find someone send it through msn. You can find me to do so, but you need to send me a private message and tell me your msn account or your icq account. I don't use others.
2nd: Because you need to install WPCAP.DLL, which is supposed to be installed followed by installing Snooper. IF you still can't do it, go:

download it from there. It's an offical web.

This is not ordinary file which can be downloaded directly. You need a software named "BT - Bit Torrent". something like Edonkey. How much you upload, how much you download.
They provide almost every serie A match for Milan. So I think it is worthwhile to learn how to use BT. :D But you need be quick since there may be no seeds left in less than one week.
