Hope Rino is ok and that we don't lose something by his substitution.
With his goal Kaka one more time proved that he is the best player right now in the world

Super Pippo!!! 4-1!!!!
:p283: :p283: :p283:
Dang my stream is behind a bit, yay anyway!
Pippo
What a counter attack
RobyKikic

Palacio skywalker with a chance,.. and on counter attack PIPPO!!
Kaka 2 assists, 1 goal.. great game from him
I just hope Berlu/Galliani don't take too much from this and inflate their egos further - and not buy any more players ever!
This commentator wants a red card to be given to all Boca players. Cynical foul gives us a fk on edge of area.
RobyKikic
16-12-2007, 07:05
Kaka Is Gaining Alot Of Confidence.. He Just Runs Past A Player Like He Isnt There. Fk
But Pirlo drags his shot under the wall.
Cafu coming on for Pippo. MAybe give Kaka a rest?

The officiating has been atrocious tonight.
I really despise Boca, they're so dirty

The ref is effing crazy!! Red card ?? That would for the kid Paleta before against Kaka

16-12-2007, 07:09
It's all Done folks!!!
Dear god, Boca should have like three players sent off!
Mr. Anonymous
16-12-2007, 07:10
This ref is as biased.
We'll probably appeal anyway.
Weird red card for Kaladze. A yellow is more appropriate.
I saw the last ten minutes of the first half i opened my TV 10 minutes ago and although i have a lot of job i want to celebrate with you another one trophie, AC Milan ateam for big games.

More like a show time for Dida now.
Own goal by Ambrosini 4-2...

RobyKikic
16-12-2007, 07:15
he miscalculated a tackle on a boca player... it was a yellow.. but sure no red card. The ref run upon him like he was waiting for one mistake of the Milan players so he could sent him off.
Kala was late tackling, caught the ankle of the Boca player with his studs on the edge of the area. Kaka just misses with a header.
I missed it. What did Kala do to get the red card?
Just a usual tackle but missed it completely and stepped on the shoes of the attacker.
Some how it's a red.
Ambro... GOAL! Own goal...
Someone please post the priceseremony here!!
:1ole:
Oh well, Dida would have saved it if not for Ambro.
Damn!!
C'mon just hold it
BTW, dida is very very very impressive.
Whoever is a doubter of Dida: Watch Milan's second half.
Seedorf goal but offside.
Brocchi in for Seedorf. Kaká must play the whole game for marketing reasons...

Today's ref is a joke :).
A good final let down by officiating. Good thing we've played well enough (going foward at least) to win. Should have been had more goals too.

good game great trophie! Well done Milan!
Why don't we play like this in Serie A?
We do but teams in Seria A know how to play us, all they do is defend defend and defend. Then on one quick counter attack they might sneak in a goal - it's going to change though.
Do anyone have the whole video (not only the highlights) that I can download? I really want to watch the whole video even it's a big file and would take times to download it.
We are at top of the world now. Lets celebrate this, anyway, that's truly great :D

Why don't we play like this in Serie A?
Because we are not the same concetrated like on that match.
Why don't we play like this in Serie A?
well, I am really hoping that performance spilled over the Derby next sunday, I really wanna see a roaring Gatusso...cant wait to spank the overrated team of roberto manchini
Congrats guys, once again we prevailed
Yeah, I guess it's just because of the different style of play in Serie A and our mindset.
[QUOTE=rosoneri_11]Because we are not the same concetrated like on that match.[/QUOT

seeing as R99 was removed from squad it means he misses another medal.
Starsport shows the ceremony. It's just so touching :).
Great game by Milan; that's what we expect from them. Let's hope that this kind of concentration will continue in Serie A.
NOw, le'ts enjoy the sweat moment.
Ronaldo didnt get his medal but he was also crazy and recording everything with his camrea :)
Maldini of course took the trophy and the comfettes flew away in our colors! How can anyone leave Milan?????
P.S.
hello for Sheva in rainy London. We are the Champions of the WORLD!!!!! And the most titled club at international level!
we pay a guy $N million to take photos for us? Umm....
we pay a guy $N million to take photos for us? Umm....

LOL it must really suck to be Sheva. He leaves and we immediately win Champions League, Super Cup AND Club World Cup, while he's rotting away at Chelsea a shadow of his former self.

C'mon guys lets respect Sheva for what he done.
On another note Kaka please dedicate your personal awards and the CWC trophy to Maradona over what he said in the past week.
Alright ladies and gentlemen; time to sleep. It's 8am over here in America but what a treat for the upcoming Christmas holiday!

The team cannot give 100% in every game, hence the results in Serie A. Milan proved that they can concentrate and show class in decisive game. However, asking them give their fullest in all the game is unreasonable. We need a good backup squad.

FORM IS TEMPORARY
BUT CLASS IS PERMANENT
What a touchy moment seeing Maldini lift his final cup like that :) Kaka lifting every award available, wow things look bright (lets just not get caught away and think we have a perfect team, we still need major reinforcements in jan)
The game could have been 5 or 6 - 1 if it wasnt for the ref. There was a clear penalty on Pirlo and Kaladze shouldnt have gotten a red card and I think Carlo was trying to live up to his reputation of throwing away 3 goal leads so he removes Pippo and brought on Cafu (that was like the stupidest substitution hes done this season)!
Forza Milan, We got our primary objective, does that mean we should just sit and forget about the other trophies? No, our motivation needs to be higher. We need a few players in Jan and we all set, lets continue our quest for #8!
I was pretty sure that Ronaldo did get his medal :dontkn:
We're Champiooons of The World!!!! Sorry Mancio but we are awesome in those "friendly tournaments" :devf:
Now I just hope that the board won't be just satisfied with this squad and look for some replacements in January :)
Bonera is under-rated...he was very good today :p017:
Kaká, Inzaghi & Seedorf...We Love You!!!! :respect:
Now I'll cheer Sheva against Arsenal and hope that United will draw against Liverpool \o/

On top of the World!!!!!!!!!!!!! We've achieved our 3rd objective for this season!!!!! Excellent display of football today and Boca simply weren't capable of producing a challenge. We looked hungry and dominated, but we oozed class in fluid, attacking play.
The first half wasn't bad, we had the odd chance and Pippo scored a good goal to put us ahead with excellent work from Kaka, but we did poor on the boca goal, losing concentration on the quick corner and Bonera lost his man far too easily.
The second half was a great display from the players, Kaka was simply ruthless with Boca, and they didn't know what to do with him. Nesta scored a good goal with Pirlo putting in a smart freekick (similar to how Maldini scored in CL 2005 final) but with Ambro's mis-hit, Nesta kept cool, controlled and volleyed superbly. After that we took complete control and Kaka's goal came at a good time (after Boca hit the post), with another fantastic run and cool finish. Finally we round off the scoring with a great counter with Seedorf, Kaka and finally Pippo scoring. Again the only fault was our defending of a corner where a panic resulted in an Ambro own goal. However, despite the red cards (both had studs showing and were dangerous), the match was ended comfortably with us killing off the game.
Players..
Dida - Excellent, made some good saves but more importantly well positioned
Bonera - not much going forward and a mistake on the first goal by boca, but solid otherwise
Nesta - Excellent, and a fantastic goal. He can consider himself a WC final hero!
Kala - Did well until the red card, that was a poor challenge.
Maldini - Epitomizes what it means to be a captain, he lead by example, always fighting, showing desire and skill and playing through injury. The man is indescribable.
Gattuso - Worked hard and got injured due to it, but his contribution was important and deserves to be highly complimented
Pirlo - Never looked in trouble and he made some fantastic passes, the guy was superb
Ambro - A wall in midfield, did well despite the OG
Seedorf - Showed a lot of skill and linked well with Kaka (as always)
Kaka - He wasn't performing too well of late but this tournament he stepped up big and none moreso than today. Simply incredible and unstoppable.
Pippo - He doesn't do it often but it can't be denied he turns SuperPippo in the biggest games!!
Emerson - Filled in superbly for Rino
Brocchi - Solid and made the odd threatening attack
Cafu - A lucky charm, considering after the red card with him on the field it was very easy to adjust quickly. He should have had an assist had Kaka's heading been better ;)
This was a great game, we played good football and we showed class. We deserved to win and in reality few mistakes were made by anyone (except on corners). I was impressed by Ever Banega, he's good technically and has excellent vision, a definite long term replacement for Pirlo in the making.
For the moment, I say:

Mrki, I totally agree with you, why would anyone want to leave this great club. Barcelona say they are more than a club. MILAN is a close FAMILY. Why would Kaka want to leave this cohesion for that madness in Madrid.
Will any player in world history ever have a year like Kaka in 2007? I hope this guy stays.
What about the Captain? I'm speechless. I have to admit I shed a tear seeing this is one of the few last trophies he will lift for Milan. Total Respect. Even Platini was just shaking his head while talking to him. How many more adjectives are there to describe Paolo?
That's fast,ReMad! Thanks!

the referee was captivated! mexican referee... same as italy-southcorea... damned mexican referees
A simply FANTASTIC, OUTSTANDING, positively ANTHOLOGICAL display of football by AC Milan on the second half; in fact, one of the best performances I've see from a Milan side in years: the midfield was sheer perfection, the retaguard very solid and the attacking manouevres deadly effective. There's nothing I can add about geniuses like Kaká and Seedorf, or about living legends like Maldini or Pippo, so I guess I should something about Gattuso:
Lord have mercy, man, you did splendid, stratospherically well on our third goal, with a marvellous assist and a great vision of the game. Bravo, Rino, you showed today that your football is not only about heart, muscles and guts, but also about technical awareness and intelligence!!!

We wore our maglia fortuna and it's snowing like a mother in Toronto. A beautiful morning in my eyes. Grazie ragazzi for..god, well a fantastic game and great show of spirit and skill. Though the goals came from the obvious sources (at Milan defenders scoring is normal yes?) can proudly say this was a united effort, a team-win and the boys should be very pleased with their accomplishment.
I got to watch Capitano lift two major trophies in one year. Lucky tifosa I am.

-become the first european team to bring the "new format" intercontinental cup to europe.
-fundamental to our morale to catch up in Serie A and to win the 8th UCL this season!
-filippo inzaghi becomes the first player to score in all three finals(UCL,european super cup, and club world cup).
-cafu becomes the first player to win intercontinental cup with a south american club and an european club.
-kaka voted the best player of the tournament.
-all of these happened on 16 december which is milan's birthday!
any other important facts that anyone can add?
FORZA MILAN!!!
What an astonishing final. Boca dared to do what many teams don't even dare to consider i.e. play an attacking football. The match was a balanced one IMO, however Milan's striking force was far more clinical thanks to the brilliance of Kaka and Pippo

the rumors started to spread that kaka will be FIFA's player of the year on the same day

HOW IMPORTANT THE TRIUMPH OF 2007 CLUB WORLD CUP ARE FOR MILAN:
-cafu becomes the first player to win intercontinental cup with a south american club and an european club.
Actually, Cafu and Dida, who is now the only two-time CWC winner (he also won it with Corinthians in 2000). :proud:
And yeah, I'm surprised that hardly anyone's mentioned that our win fell on Milan's birthday. :bcake:
When are we buying Banega? (or whatever his name is!) :D

For real!! We should be! I hope we are..
But to the game...what a performance by Milan! I was up at 5am to watch the game, yet somehow fell asleep, and missed the first two goals...
Much cursing and self abuse later, I was rooted in front of the telly, watching us take a good team apart...because they dared to attack us.
Now Inter are no Boca, but somehow seeing this calibre of display by Milan makes me think that the derby may just end a little differently than the table suggests it should.
FORZA MIIIIIIIIIILAN!! WORLD CLUB CHAMPIONS!!! Words cannot express how I feel.
Now....lets go crush Inter... :w155:

Corinthians were not the libertadores cup winner in 2000, boca juniors were.
boca won toyota cup in the same year, so i suppose the real world champion was boca in year 2000,which was probably why dida's name was not included as a winner for both south american and european club.

Corinthians were not the libertadores cup winner in 2000, boca juniors were.
Corinthians got in because they won the Brazilian league in 1999 and because Brazil also hosted the Club World Championship (as it was known back then), which took place in January 2000.
