Milan Bologna Post game comments

Milan this season unfortunately is the following:

Vs. Small sides:

a -> Big wins at home
b -> Narrow away wins i.e. 0-1

Vs. Big sides:

c -> Narrow 1-0 wins at home or draw
d -> Draw


This is what we have been generally speaking and the pattern is becoming clearer as the games go by. This form needs improvement. It is not a small thing to fix but a lot of improvement is required.

It covers the physical aspect, mental aspect, technical aspect and overall approach to the game. It is goals that win you games. Playing fancy without scoring or creating a multitude of chances doesn't help if that crucial goal never arrives.

We suffer the most when we fail to find the net. There is a list of 0-1 or 1-0 defeats for us but hardly a 2-1, 1-2 or 3-2 type defeat.

There are three columns (b, c & d) to fix from the above scenario. 2 columns need fixing (c, d) while one needs improving (b). HALF of the season is gone. Time is not on our side.

yah TLN right? couldn't see it either. I almost cried on the bus to work cus sheva got injured and milan were losing when i left *sniff*

If the january transfer window is still open, they should purchase some striker now. JDT is not doing the job sadly.

Milan being unable to beat small teams is pretty normal for non-scudetto winning years. The years that they beat the small teams is the year Milan usually win the title. It's a strange pattern. Then again, the scudetto is awarded to teams who are CONSISTENT whereas the CL is awared to teams who are able to beat the big teams. Milan do well against the big teams and hence they are one of the winningest international trophy winners. Juve on the other hand are brutally consistent and hence do well in the domestic league but suck internationally. If milan lose the next game and Juve win, the scudetto race is over - especially without Sheva.

we weren't sobbing after the udinese win kaka had a good game then. let's just give it some time. i think ancelotti has some things up his sleeve.


We should have rui costa and kaka playing in the hole with one striker up front, now that heir berlusconi is not in a position to dictate to ancelotti how to line up his team.

God, i am getting flashbacks of Vierchowod's challenge on Marco Van Basten that pretty much ended his career and hopes of a full recovery. At least it's not sheva's ankle. Things have changed but haven't changed because defenders still insist on damaging players careers instead of playing safe. i am really ticked off.

Pippo will return but Shev's injury is really bad. A torn muscle to the extent that there is a hole inside. That could effectively rule him out till end of March easily.

Bring on the real Milan side now. The Milan that I have grown to see do great things when the chips are down. The Milan that can deal with injuries to individuals. The Milan that is built for Europe. The Milan that is made for the big games.

Pippo / Crespo as the lone striker. We need to rest Ringhio, Pirlo and Kaka in a manner that our team plays well enough to get results and also freshens these players' legs for the OT encounter. Cafu to be rested in btw this time would be good but resting in rotation and not altogether.

i know!!! cut off after 1st half. at least we got to see some of it, even though it was poor quality.

it sucks having to lose to small teams...especially when we need to catch up to juve. and now sheva's injury...poor sheva...he looked in pain

correction: HUGE pain...but he took it well...i didn't notice him cursing or swearing on the field, he just wanted to get the heII off.

let's hope for a speedy and complete recovery.

Mates today I'm really pissed off.

If I where Galliani I would kick the players in their ass. These guys are millionairs they have money, cars, women etc, and their only job is to play football. Maybe if we won we would have said great Milan but players should meditate a bit about their performances. One can find a lot of excuses such luck, referees ecc but they are paid millions to do their job.

At the end of the day when they loose its us supporters who spent a whole with sad faces, tonight all those merceneries that played vs Bologna would be f***** their women which got with the help of 'our' money. Our money because supporters buy stadium tickets, gears, magazines and other official stuff which goes as revenue to the club. I'm saying that players should give thier heart during the whole 90 minutes of the game and respect the club's supporters.

I do not care about players, I LOVE AC MILAN NOT THE PLAYERS, PLAYERS COME AND GO BUT OUR FAITH REMAINS THERE.

It's very bad in deed. We can't create chanches, most of our players are in bad form (Seedorf, Kaka), out defence is insecure, now we lost Coloccini to Depor, Inzahi is injured -again-, and now Sheva is injured.
For all of you who don't know Sheva has a huge hole in his tibia muscle. The exact diagnosis will be tomorrow. It looks serious. Just imagine our attack: Tomasson - Crespo. I can't see how we can score just 1 goal!

Kaka looks as though he is out there trying to do to much by himself unfortunately he has not been getting much support other then Dhorasoo, it Milan.com is now saying that Sheva has a hole in his Tibia muscle (I have heard of tears in muscle but not holes?) Crespo as I stated looks rather disapointing . . . As posted ealier some of this I believe has to go back to the coaching

sheva is a physically strong man. He really will take it on the chin and recover fast. he is amazingly strong.

Obly player performing on the pitch today was Vikash, and like i said in my post in pre game thread i knew he was starting. I really hope that Ancelotti realise that we must not play with Rino in these games when opposition is camping infront of their 16 line. Its like playing with 10 men when we have the boll, which is like 65% off the time. Both Brocchi and Ambrosini are far better in that place.

Second thing is did any of our players even try to take those runs that open for other players and spred their defence, i think not. Did they even try to run into box when we push the ball towards the box, not that either.

Do these players really know what shirt they are wearing, do they think they play for Inter maybe and pretend they are some divas when Juventus are getting out of our sight. Im so damn mad. Kaka is far from his form but we have no subtitute for him, Rui is over as a player so we have to wait for him to get in form otherwise he would be spending some time on the bench.

And am i the only one that feels that teams against us score like 90% of times when theres is slight scoring chance. Its true that we dont give opponents many chances but when they do occure i just have the feeling they are scoring 90% out of those, maybe its just the feeling i dont know.

Something has to be done and i think this was the day we lost scudetto. We are not same Milan as last year, we failed to win over Inter, Juve, Roma and we were lucky against Lazio. We certanly have some problems with motivation players must start running and running without a ****ing ball to create pace for others.

I believe it comes down to coaching and placing his players at the right time and place, unfortunately this has not happened this year
