Guys, I did want Sobis (rather than Tevez) I just wanted to point out that getting Sobis we must get some of the physical players too, Diarra is that option. If we can field a good combination of the 2 groups: group 1: Pirlo, Seedorf, Gatuso, Brocchi, Sobis and group 2: Kaka, Gourcoup, Diarra, Ambrosini, ... It will be a desaster to field all 5 (Pirlo, Seedorf, Gatuso, Brocchi, Sobis) at once.

So how did Sobis get on, the match ended 2-2 right ?
Maybe someone can post up some details on him like how many goals he's scored in Brazil, etc ?? Our strikers could be Gilardino, Inazaghi, Tevez & Sobis ... that's pretty good i think ![]()

sobis has only scored 2 goals in about 9 games(8 starts) in the brazilian league this season, last season he got 19 in 35 games, i think tevez has 3 goals in 5 games this season last season he got 20 goals in 29 games which is awesome.

Anyway, you didn't miss much. There were 4 goals scored in that game, a RC for Internacional, and some intrigue in the end when SP could have scored a 3rd goal, but overall the quality of the game was pretty poor IMO, I personally expected much more to be honest. As for Sobis, he didn't score but played very well IMO with fast, incisive runs forward and showed that he is an intelligent player, who is aware that he has a head on his shoulders and not just 2 feet. His speed and running reminds of how Torres plays, only much more purposeful in his actions than the Spaniard, so if it comes to choosing between spending 40 mil on Torres and 10-15 on Sobis, for me the choice is clear. Still, as ZZZZZ pointed out, Sobis has appeared on the radar pretty recently and has yet to prove that he isn't yet another one-season wonder like so many others. If he manages to keep it up, with a little more experience under his belt he could be indeed a viable option to go for. I do believe, however, that right now, it is a bit too early to see in him the new Sheva as he has yet to prove something - not that he has quality, but that he can consistently show it time and again over a couple of seasons. A little more experience wouldn't hurt either, I guess. |

HAHA.
I Disagree with you Zlat. I think That was a great game with many score possibilities. The draw was fair in my opinion and Inter deserve the win for what they did on the first game. As for Sobis, he didn't scored, but thats pretty much what Zlat said. he played very well, fast and objective, may not be shown but its tough to take the ball from him. With all those strong SP Defenders, he could keep the ball with him most of the time. |

not sure where barca would put him since they play with 1 striker and they already have Dinho, Etoo, Gudjohnsen, Saviola, Giuly etc. and most of these are still pretty young players. |

They have Messi aswell Zlatanov and yes, they probably don't need him but Barca are like Venus fly traps ... luring in their prey 'Yes, come play for us, we have Ronaldinho, you can play alongside him' ... then snap, they get them ...
Sobis will be in action this weekend in the league, so we can all watch him then.

Internazionale are after Sobis too. Milan can't let it happen again.
