HT. 0-0. The commentator here is making some cr@p comments, saying that Pirlo had fouled the Ascoli attacker, should have a yellow and give away a freekick, then he said even a penalty kick would be fine.

I wish he knew what he was talking about. Not that it matters, as not many members here understand Chinese.

I think our midfielders today didn't do a good job intercepting Ascoli's attacks. We gave them too much space. Everyone was ready to go for a goal or what?

We are doing allright, but could have been punished on a couple of occasions. Some confusion in the back at times but other then that it has been fine. Maldini has been amazing and so has Dida.

The midfield is doing good also. One thing that has started to bother me is the rushing by Gourcuff. He has been playing great so far, the only thing is he seems to rush the ball forward every time he gets it and a lot of times it results in unnecessary rushed crosses or through balls and we lose posession. He has been impressive however with a couple of nice moves and a great cross to Inzaghi that Pagliuca saved.
Pirlo has been the man in the midfield so far. What vision and passing by him as usual. Controlled the game great.

Borriello was involved in the first 20 minutes or so, but then dissapeared. I like the way this guy playes. Even though nothing spectacular so far, you might even say somewhat dissapointing, but you can see the potential. He has the perfect phisique for a target player and he has shown that he can drop deep and collect tonight. He reminds me of Vieri a lot! I think he can be a great striker for us. he only needs some games under his belt. He will be fine. And lastly........Inzaghi! What can I say. The man is always at the right place. So unlucky. I will be so dissapointed if he doesn't score in the second half.

I managed to catch the last few minutes of the game. Ascoli seem to be playing with a flat back ten and working very hard. Hopefully in the second half they will get tired and if we are really lucky they may actually try to win the game.

we're having no luck , hope this wont be one of those midweek 0-0 draw games that u forget easily but where u pay up for later at the end of the competition. we gotta score that first one, after that i can see us breaking their defence apart.

I think Ascoli will get tired as well, Borriello will score tonight!! I think we have been unlucky a couple of times but 45min is a longggg time...

P.S. I dont know if im the only one bothered by this but when inzaghi sees someone miss a shot on goal he puts his hands on his head and looks like how did u miss that look ALWAYS... It's annoying as hell.. Pippo you're a good player but trust me your not the saviour of this team...
