I'ts way off-topic... but i must admit i would (almost) never come to this forum again if there were just 'poor Dida, that bastard hit him hard' like respones from posters. As i said many times, going behind a team in trouble (relegation is the case when players arent to blame) is different than going to back them when they clearly underperform for longer periods (and so with playing they 'hurt' the team). I dont have anything against loosing in scotland - they deserved to win! - but i'm pissed because od dida's acting and because our administration were sooo ignorant (or blind, cheap or whatever you want) in the summer. Backing that up is imo just living in denial (which is the exact thing with most Juventinos i know - we lost 2 fair scudettos, moggi did nothing... ROFL). You may call those fans true fans, but i will call them blind or arogant or a little of both. Yes, they love their club but cant think straight anymore because of it. And in forum, i like to see some of each group to present his point of view, having just pink-glasses milan fans here would be to sweet for my heart to handle.
EDIt - and i dont give a shyte what are those sore inter fans doing while reading this forum. If they follow inter for more that 10 years they are misserable enough, be cool and give them something to laugh from time to time. Ups, Dida did that in the first place, not us fans. Debs should get a kick out of this. As if Goal.com weren't scum of the earth enough.
In their translated version of the article Hasan posted, they've just changed the headine from "Kaka: Dida Was Wrong" to "Kaka To Dida: You Goofed Up." Goal.com should be thankful that not all footballers understand English, given their habit of putting words in players' mouths. That site is a libel suit waiting to happen. |

And believe me, I was very patient with Dida because pre-2005 he was incredible. |

look it...when a player is playing poorly, it is ok to say he should be replaced, thats the nature of sports...even if he is on your favorite team. the reason why everyone is upset is because they dont want to see thier team suffer.
i think MOST of us would agree, that not too long ago, Dida was one of the top 3 gk's in the world. So the questions are: is the recent lack of form going to continue, or is this something he can battle through? Can he start performing at the level that is expected for a team like milan? Will someone show him how foolish the dives look, and get him to stop it...(goes for gila and pippo as well) i find the comparison between dida & gila intreging. Again, i think most of us here would agree that niether of the 2 are performing consistantly at the level expected for a team like milan. the intreging portion is how their situation is completely different(age, position...), but solution is the same. the equation: # of poor performance = being sold or benched How long do you give a player that is perfoming under expectations, to pull themselves out of it? I guarentee dida wants to stop goals, and gila wants to score them. I guarentee that they are working hard to right the ship...in the best way they and our management know how. |

The problem is: how to bench Dida when you have a keeper like Kalac as sub? But that's ok, Dida is the best, we don't need Buffon!

Regardless of what many may say...the player's past record should weigh heavily on such decisions. Sheva had two very forgetable seasons with us...yet we kept the faith with him and later on he repayed us
The same thing goes with Romario, Denis Bergkamp, and Alan Shearer. There is also the issue of Raul's finally beginning to show his old form and class after more than three seasons in the wilderness. With all due respect Arsenal and Newcastle certainly don't have the demands that our team and our board have to win so they can actually wait the 2-3-4 seasons while their star player finds himself......On the other hand Real's downfall and raul's years of drought show definite correlation. I believe we could end up facing such an issue the longer we wait for the Parma Gila to show up. Based on what I have just said I tend to go far easier on Dida than I do regarding Gila and this is because Gila simply has no history of helping the club in any great tangible way....unlike most of the others. Dida can claim that he won us the 03CL - Gila can claim mothing

the incident
the so called cetic supporter who ran onto the park on wednesday is a complete moron, i came out the stadium after beating the euro champions and i felt as if i had heard of a family bereavment.i am not kidding.
the raport between the clubs and supporters is really great to see and i hope will not be tarnished by this fecking moron. in saying that, dida should be ashamed of himself. reports over here suggest that milan think celtic are trying to turn the situation around . this is not the case.i honestly think dida's actions actually might save celtic from really severe sanctions. what are your thoughts on the situation? |

I guess I will follow suit: Ronaldo is the best player in the world; he has won numerous in the past and is a great player (honestly, sincerely). let's play him as soon as he is back.
Wait, I thought this thread is about Dida? |

no one likes Dida here, and no one is ever thinking about getting anything out from the incident. I think Galliani has made it clear that Milan is not looking for anything from the incident, except that what the fan does is as shameful as Dida's act.

i really fear the consequences.
milan have been fair in what they are saying about what happened. the papers over here are going on about dida as much as the supporter, which is wrong.dida's antics wouldn't have happened if there was no fan on the park. to let you know, celtic is not the prefered club in the media over here. the media will try and drive a wedge between the clubs by keeping dida in the headlines. eufa are really unpredictable,so i will need to keep saying my prayers. ![]() |
