16 december 2007 - Yokohama confirms AC Milan,
the first & only Milan team,
is on the top of the world

For real!! We should be! I hope we are..

But to the game...what a performance by Milan! I was up at 5am to watch the game, yet somehow fell asleep, and missed the first two goals...

Much cursing and self abuse later, I was rooted in front of the telly, watching us take a good team apart...because they dared to attack us.

Now Inter are no Boca, but somehow seeing this calibre of display by Milan makes me think that the derby may just end a little differently than the table suggests it should.

FORZA MIIIIIIIIIILAN!! WORLD CLUB CHAMPIONS!!! Words cannot express how I feel.

Now....lets go crush Inter...

And yeah, I'm surprised that hardly anyone's mentioned that our win fell on Milan's birthday.

Corinthians were not the libertadores cup winner in 2000, boca juniors were.
boca won toyota cup in the same year, so i suppose the real world champion was boca in year 2000,which was probably why dida's name was not included as a winner for both south american and european club.

Corinthians got in because they won the Brazilian league in 1999 and because Brazil also hosted the Club World Championship (as it was known back then), which took place in January 2000.
