The question is: Who?

What if Dida made a blunder every 3 months, yet another GK (say Fray) didn't make a blunder for an entire year but it's naturally worse than Dida in terms of skills etc.?

We need consistancy, natural talent and potential is one thing...realizing that potential is another.
I would take a consistant keeper over one with more talent who is all across the board giving you up and down performances.
Just be solid and save the ones you're supposed to save.
Who...I don't know right now. As I said in the past...take the R10 money and send in to Juventus for Buffon!!!

In the Inter-Milan game, the cambiasso goal should have easily been stopped, dida should have had tat with his leg, he went down to early, how does this keeper go from one of the best in the world to the biggest flop in the world, it seems as though he is often scared of the ball.

It's time for Dida to pack his bags. He has done very well us over the years, but he is an accident waiting to happen.

Rumour has it (tgcom ) that the squad is irate with Dida. I hope that is the case because it will finally push Galliani and Berlu to show Dida the door. I don't think Dida has the good grace to admit that he is over the hill.

Your right, he still thinks hes great, but hes not anymore, thats why julio cesar has become #1 for brazil! Amelia will leave livorno fo milan im sure of it, and khan is available, as he is unhappy at bayern.

I do agree with the people who says Dida should be shown the door, but not in a harsh way at least offload him to somewhere like cruzeiro where it was his first professional club, or some other team in brazil as he might want to return to his native country. Dida has done well but ever since the incident where a missile hitted him on the shoulder, he has gone downhill since, Milan have been faithful and he has saved them on numerous occasions, but his time has come, maybe they will keep him until july before showing him the door. If he does leave then good luck to him, he has tried his best to get back in form but it isn't enough so it's time to say goodbye I think

Dida retired from the NT in 10/06, and JC is not Dunga's undisputed first choice, as he changes his GKs more than his underwear.

Amelia is overrated and his heart is more with Roma than Milan. Plus, no way is Kahn, who's retiring at the end of the season, going to ditch Bayern at the drop of a hat for a cup of coffee with Milan.

Our best bet is Frey, barring any aftereffects from his knee injury.

question, how about Carlo Cudicini? he´s good, has a big family history with Milan (like Buffon) and he´s not getting any consideration at Chelsea

I get what you mean; only that I'm not sure if other GKs can save goals that they are supposed to save yet Dida can save it.

Say 10 difficult goals, Buffon let in 1, Dida 2, and say Frey 4.

Blunder:Buffon 1, Dida 2, Frey 1.

WEll, that's Buffon: 2 ; Dida 4; Frey 5..

but this is all maths and not that helpful. You get what I mean... J

I think I need more of an explanation, Professor Jeff.

He might see some action after Cech got injured once again over the weekend.

You can't deny Dida has sucked this year but I really feel that unless Milan does really bad by the end of the season, nothing will change. Galliani is the worst when it comes to improving the squad bit by bit. If he sees, like he has this year, that we somehow figure it out by the end of the season he'll say all is good and will deny that Dida alongside with a 1/3 of our squad is having their worst season ever. You don't even have to go back to far to see Dida flopping. The Inter game he cost us the Cambiasso goal that gave Inter the win. Even the Cruz goal should have been saved!!! Dida, alongise with Oddo, Emerson and Gattuso, has had his worst season to date. Also, I didn't include Ronaldo because the few times he played he did fairly well.

UNTHINKABLE!!!

Has Dida sight problems? He doesn't see the ball.... Call an optician, now!!!!!

Galliani and Berlusconi are fools in this case, Dida's problem have lasted for 3 years, anyway they didn't do anything about it. Berlusconi is convinced that splashing 30+ millions for a keeper is useless, while they can be used for a striker.

I think he's wrong. Buffon won us a WC, without him we wouldn't.
With Milan we have won anyway, but always on the edge..look at the howler he did at Old Trafford v Manchester. We coped with it, but not every time you can recover from 1- nil against top quality teams.

Dida has costed something like 20-25 points in Serie A in the last 3 seasons.
