Milan is a team in need of immediate success, they cannot afford to go through a rebuilding phase. The rebuilding phase was supposed to happen this year, or even last year but instead Galliani forced us to finish the campaign with a very mediocre squad. If any heads need to be chopped, it is Galliani's.

I am a huge fan of Carlo but I think it is time for someone new, admittedly we will never find anyone as good as Carlo again but a change has to happen. The team needs a major shake, they need to awaken. I believe there is no better way to do that than to bring in a new coach..

There's a reason those clubs are successful however, and that's because they back the coach. When players see the board backing the coach, they know it's themselves who are going to pay the price for not performing. Just because we're at the end of a cycle doesn't mean the coach has to go. His ideas and tactics have won us plenty of trophies. You have to accept that we will go through a rebuilding phase.

Bayern Munich are the club to follow, as it's likely we'll end the season in a similar situation. They accepted they weren't good enough, and spent money on new players - now they're probably going to win the Bundesliga and perhaps the UEFA Cup too.
