He also won league for the first time for chelsea in 50 years.... back to back years... and his 2nd place year was just BARELY. Mourinho is top 5 coaches in the world alive. And probably best coach under age of 50. He may be load and obnoxious but results are unparalleled

I can't say I agree with you. I'll let others make the decision. He has made several records in his tournament, and if it wasn't to the PSV defense, PSV would have gone further in the UEFA Cup. I've heard only great things about him mostly...

I would be happy with him or Frey.

Are you kidding me? Are you actually saying what I think you are? Ancelotti won the CL twice. That's far more than what Chelsea has ever done. And Liverpool, that was on penalty kicks... could have gone either way... which you say is luck lol.

Mourinho is a vastly overrated coach. What did he win Chelsea internationally? Nothing. And Ancelotti brought Milan to success at a far greater than Chelsea internationally... far many more times in the semi-finals and finals.

I think it's absolutely wrong and a total embarrassment to even call Mourinho better than Ancelotti. Chelsea wanted Ancelotti, as did several other clubs.

You say that Milan fell to Deportivo, Liverpool and Arsenal. What about the other times it was successful in beating ManU (which Chelsea couldn't do), or Liverpool (which Chelsea couldn't do)? And the one year Chelsea did get to the CL final was with Avram Grant, who in my opinion is better than Mourinho. He scrapped together a team, managed 2nd place domestically and managed a 2nd place win in the CL which was totally lost on luck... Chelsea could have won the CL if it wasn't for Terry missing.

he was there 3 years. won 2 epl titles. 2 fa cups. a league cup. Lost TWICE in semi finals to Liverpool. `1 time was a joke.... 2005. that goal didnt go in and they counted it, you know what i mean. He is a GREAT coach.

You can't even stack up credentials when you have no clue on what you're talking about.

Ancelotti won 1 Coppa Italia, 1 Serie A Title, 1 Italian Super-Cup, 2 Champions Leagues Titles, 2 UEFA Super Cups and 1 World Club Cup and that's with Milan.

Domestically they are pretty even. Internationally... totally different story.

And as far as I'm concerned Inter will not be winning the champions league because they ALWAYS CHOKE INTERNATIONALLY. Mourinho is utterly useless, and stacks up nothing against Ancelotti.

The guy is a so damn overrated.

He's decent, but he has nothing on Ancelotti. Do not even go there. I know you don't like Ancelotti but frankly I don't care... Ancelotti has done countless good things for Milan... yes he could have focused more on domestically... but still.

he was best keeper in epl all year. He is pretty dominant. of course he'll get no respect in this forum cause hes american

Ancelotti has won the champions league twice with Milan, and was a finalist another year.

Sorry. I've just been a bit frustrated recently... computer problems. First my desktop, then my laptop... didn't mean to lash out at you. Luckily both are working fine now... but I hate it... spending hours fixing problems.. =/

BORUC. after watching the poland game (and losing $500 in the 93rd minute), it is obvious that boruc is an amazing talent. I wonder if celtic will raise his price, but he is superb. With carlo coming out and saying we cant afford boruc, im starting to think we will probably buy him. As long as he maintains the same from with milan, we should be good in goal for another 3-5 years.

Can we please stop the Mourinho v Ancelotti debate?

We are supposed to be discussing transfers rite?
