it's much more a rumour than a news, anyways Mediaset Premium is the source: Marzoratti could be useful, so AC Milan is thinking to take him back, or, more difficult, Perticone (other defender from Milan youngster team) now at Livorno.

Bayern gives a wage around 3,5 mil. €. to Oddo aren't they out of head?

Brocchi instead has cut down his wage; or do you think will has been Lotito?

What happened to all the cutting down the squad but increasing the quality talk?

If I was incharge of the Milan board right now I would:
- Sell Boriello
- Try to get rid of Dida, if he makes it impossible to sell him then sell Kalac.
- Sell Brocchi
- Sell Favalli or just release him
- Get a world-class CB (Zapata, Cannavaro)..or even players like Ivanovic and Canini would do just fine
- Keep Cardacio and Viudez training with the team for a year

Well i agree our mercato is good, we got rid of overheads, we still have emerson and dida, other than that we are all packed. From a personal point of view i like sendros he is very solid, i agree he has deadly errors but his playing style doesnot fit the EPL, this guy cant play tennis. he is good player i believe we need to judge him when he plays for us not before playing.

for the attacking issue, i believe we gave too much emotions to sheva after all he is gonna our first choice striker, i hate that. we dont wanna kill pato for the sake of sheva. Pato and borriello are our strikers really, not sheva nor pippo. we need their presence and experience when we need them not to build our strike force on them.

and for zapata i dont know guys why do you put so much hope on him, he never impressed me, i take mexes over him anytime, and i really wanna see the combination nesta-bonera.

Just why people hate/dislike dida is way beyond me. Its like he did cost us a trophy, a scudetto, or a CL cup.

For God's sake, it's Kalac who didn't save the goal last year.

And that's enough to write him off so badly that we are in such a desperate feeling to get rid of him, preferring rather the never-world-class Kalac?

That we can forgive Pippo for diving but not Dida faking injury?

That we cannot expect to forgive his mistakes but expected to forget about him being thrown missiles on the field?

That we cannot stand him making stupid mistakes, as if GK from the rest of the world will not, but expect to forget his saves during Champion Leagues against Juventus?

************

That the key here again is the whether Dida deserves to be defended. No, he made some howlers and we all know that.

But I see a problem, a disease really, spreading through some of the Milan fans, here and over the world: That if Milan didn't do well (e.g., out of champion leagues, not winning CL, not winning SCudetto, not beating Sampdoria, Reggina...), then it's the fault of these few individuals; ironically, this indicates that they have the ability to influence how Milan performed in a season, which we know it's not true.

But when Milan failed, some fans begin to pinpoint a few individuals, to find a scapegoat: Gila, Favalli, Brocchi, and Dida. While some arguments are valid and to-the-point, many are redundent, over-the-board, insensitive, and insensible.

The attitude, not the fact, becomes grossly disgusting.

2.2 mil pounds for Brocchi???? Thats almost 4 mil Euro just from the top of my head. That's acutally not that bad at all.

Oh my gosh, the Sinister Six: Dida, Kalac, Simic, Favalli, Brocchi, and Emerson are down to being Fantastic Four of Dida, Kalac, Favalli and Emerson.

Keep it up Milan.

Antonini isn't a LB really. He can play at both sides as easily. He began as a winger, mainly on the right side and with that I would say it is more natural for him to play there. Even if he played more on the left side of defense.

Now i hope next in line for axe should be Kalac (Galliani should sell him and find a world-class replacement at least in january)

And about Emerson, he is useless for Milan .....Silvio just will have to pay his huge wage bill for keeping the locker room warm (I really hope we sell him within the next 3 days)

Maybe we could use Favalli for another season....coz he looked OK in the pre-season games...

I don't completely agree with that. I agree with you that some fans make scapegoats out of individual players, but these players do influence the team's performance through the season.

In Dida's case, a number of mistakes in the past couple of years have cost us dearly. Two of the most famous episodes are Inter (when he let in the shot straight at him) and Celtic (the dive). These are individual games, but these mistakes aren't infrequent with him these days and more importantly they cost us important results. Putting the Celtic game aside, his mistake in the Inter match effectively cost us the match (which we weren't looking like we'd lose). Many looked at that match as the match that could reignite a poor start to the season, and the loss proved to put an even more pressure on the side.

Likewise, it occurs on the flipside too. Kaka's incredible form in CL 2006/07 influenced our season greatly, as did Ronaldo that year. Likwise, a number of Juve fans (and non-Juve fans) have attributed a lot of their successes last season on Buffon, who was superb.

In the end, football is a team game, and these players cannot have these influences without the others. Kaka was excellent in 07 but without Seedorf, Pirlo, Nesta etc all finding great form we wouldn't have won the CL. Juve last season had Buffon, but without the goals of Del Piero and Trez they wouldn't have reached 3rd. Dida's cost us and it has influenced our season (he as an individual has done this), but he alone is not to blame, as there were numerous other problems with us.

Very true, he's been playing RB some of the time in preseason and did quite well.
