About replacable or not, this is an old story from Arsenal. In the past the media said that Emmanuel Petit was half of Arsenal's power in that time but he still could go and Arsenal still could win thropies. The same case applied to Vieira. Everybody was talking that Wenger wouldn't sell Vieira but he still went from Arsenal (with pretty cheap price).

I do think, for Wenger nothing is irreplacble. Wenger is the one who make them good/great players and Wenger still can find new start after they went out from Arsenal. The interesting thing, many of them seems nothing without Wenger.

I don't think Arsenal are in best financial shape but I also don't think that they are bangkrupt. But they have to save their money for their new stadium. And the most important thing is that Arsenal have no attractiveness like european big clubs. Star from Arsenal can go to Milan, Juve, Madrid etc but not vice versa. Arsenal have their pride but not like european big clubs have.
well yes but they are ran well financially. no debt and the new stadium is putting them in position to compete financially w/ the heavyweights of europe. The youth policy was adopted to keep spending low when the stadium was being built.

I can try and dig up an article i read in forbes, but they ran a profit which is rare. And continue to because they dont spend.

fabergas.... he'll leave 1 day. i don disagree with you.... and going to england at such a young age + interviews ive heard, he is type of player who'd welcome challenge of italy as opposed to wanting just to go to spain. But i really dont see it happening for a couple years minimum

But Cesc has already said he wants to move to Barca one day. I doubt he'll take the long way to Spain through Italy. Although there would be no place for him at FCB. Xavi and Iniesta are better than him.

i would also like to add lucas leiva to that list..we were heavily linked before he moved to pool..lucas is the typical box to box midfielder we want in milan, who can attack, defend and he is a wonderful passer..

Like mrki said Om Siregar.. as long as Wenger still their coach I think it's possible to get any players from them. Wenger is clearly not typically a coach who like to keep the players no matter how important them to club. He likes to score another brilliant young player and then sell it on the market after they did many to club. Sometimes I think this is the reason why Arsenal is struggled to compete in Europe. But for Cesc's case I think almost impossible to have him now.. but 2-3 years again.. I bet we are

Uncle Fester said that we won't buy anyone in winter transfer since our team is complete. But he didn't close the door yet for Ronnie.

at this present moment i would strongly advise that we dont call Non-Milan players crap... because it have been proven many times that these same players, who we (on this forum) claim are "no good" and are "not milan quality", often play in teams against AC Milan and make us look ordinary...

i completely agree.. that's what i said about adebayor but believe me, the place where i come from, Serie A is not telecasted on tv and La Liga is usually after midnight so i end up watching EPL games for my dose of football.. I've seen Lucas play quite a few times.. not even once in atleast 10 odd performances had he even come close to impressing me. I know i'm not Carlo but i'm not Benitez either..
Lucas is crap..

our central midfield is getting thinner and thinner in terms of options now Gattuso is out for possibly the rest of the season.

I know Beckham will come in, but since Gattuso did so much running we need a player who can add that bite to our game ... Flamini can't do it all himself. I would look to see if we can take a midfielder on loan for the second half of the season (we're not going to buy anyone that's for sure). Ideally i'd say Diaby, Wenger hardly sees to play him but i doubt he'll let him go. I think we need someone though.

Gourcuf did also poorly with Milan but he is not a crappy player. The same happen to Lucas Leiva. He is a young and hotprospect player. There is still many rooms for him to improve. But for now I think we dont need such a player as we have covered very well in that position.
