And as for the goals, he did gave Maicon a lot of space for the 1st one so yes, he has a little responsibility there. And he's raised questions all year.. why hasn't it been addressed till now? I never have and never will like Beckham unless he actually he plays that good. I've spoken about him so I dont need t again. Quote:
And why are you defending Carlo over 2 players when you didn't agree over Janku? Shouldnt you be defending him over 1?

All the talk about Flamini being a replacement for Gattuso is a waste of time, nobody is like Gattuso, Flamini can be a good replacement but the problem is that he is overrated, not consistent enough to be able to play in top form for a lon time.
Beckham, well, I think he will prove to be a good signing but that will last for what, a season or two. Remember you are only building more grounds for the claims that the team is too old. You need newer, more youthful elements, permanant signing of Gourcuff is a must and he needs to play, the problem is how tow do so with Kaka in the way, both are young, but play in similar positions, if Gourcuff can come back as well as him going forwards that will be a definite + sign, but the problem is Gourcuff doesn't go back, he is Bordeax's Kaka, an attacking midfielder, not a central midfielder and not a defensive midfielder, just an attacking midfielder. The answer to cope him with Kaka.

Good draw last night, well done to you. But I'm still thinking about this game:
Ibra might not be powerful but he's tall. Adriano is big & powerful. Senderos always struggles against these types of strikers. Drogba used to bully him around very easily. But Milan's defence got easily bullied without Senderos. And he looked better than Maldini or Kaladze when he cam on against Inter, and is younger and quicker. I still am mystified why he wasn't the first choice. As for Kaladze, among the myriad of mistakes he made, some were the mistakes even the English Championship players would not make. That's all I can say about him. Last season, Flamini played mostly as a holding midfielder. I think the most logical place for him is where Becks is playing because obviously with 4-3-2-1, the centre of midfield you want a good passer of the ball and that's Pirlo in my opinion. Flamini could play there but he's nowhere as good a passer as Pirlo, who is clearly not benefiting from 4321 system because he ends up playing too deep. I don't know how good Becks has been playing, but I think his position could be perfect for Flamini because Milan don't play with a system which can take advantage of Becks' crossing anyway, and Flamini has more energy, he can fill in when Zambrotta goes forward. I think Inter, being the home team, started quickly and aggressively looking for a win. I just don't think the way Milan lined up, they could really go on the attack, because there was only 1 striker. Seedorf is not as attacking as Kaka, being a traditional midfielder. And Ronaldinho is not a striker but a midfielder. so Milan've got one support striker, one attacking midfielder (Ronaldinho), and 4 midfielders. That was not really a formation to seriously attack the opposition. Whereas Inter had 2 out and out strikers, making it easier to attack. I think that was part of the reason why Milan were not attacking so much. In the second half, 4-4-2, it got better. For one thing the GK started to coming for the ball rather than leaving it to defence, and Senderos and Inzaghi came on. Which meant the most of the time Milan were attacking --so there was less defending to do. |

It's not funny, one more year like that (I mean, from Italy), and we will have to battle for Top 2 to be directly qualified in CL ...

Maybe that's a good thing? If anything uncle fester would finally realise that 3rd or 4th place is not good enough!

It was interesting to listen to Mourinhio after the game.
1. Italy hates us- Hes developing a strong team spirit there where the players will rely on eachother. 2. There is no doubt inter will win the Seria A - Hes turning them into a team that delivers early rather than the last day of the season 3. Inter is not ready, there is something lacking and I will tell the club what that is - Hes sending a message to his players that this is just a learning curve and they will move forward I hate his style of football, but love his coaching style!! They are miles ahead of us, unless Berlusconi pulls his finger out of his @ss adn starts waving it in the right direction!!

I agree, but who cares now. Merda are out like 45 years in a row! buahahaha!!!!
Mourinho is a good psichologist and takes care of his players, but is a clown of a human being.

I would love that to be the rule... If we get into the CL this year we have no chance of winning it. We neeed another 2-3 years to make it to the finals. PS Have you seen Karim? ![]()

I've said it before, I don't think our situation is as bad as alot of people make it, we need one or two signings, and all our players back, and we're back on top. We've already made one great signing for the next season in Thiago Silva, and I think we should give the management at least that little credit. Our team is still strong, and we may have lost to Inter in the derby, but we cetainly weren't no pushovers, and this was against a Inter squad at full strength, and us missing; Kaka, Nesta and Gattuso, and with Kaladze as a CB. Also, we won the CL in 2007 with a squad weaker than the squad now, bar the central defence. Seedorf might've gotten old and Ambrosini might be done, but we've gained Ronaldinho, Flamini, Zambrotta and a Pato that is turning into one of the best strikers in the world. I certainly hope we can compete in CL, because Inter, Roma and Juventus didn't really show the flag against the English this year. |

In fact, OCmilano, the yaer when we barely made it to CL (4th place, season 2001 - 2002), we moved on to win CL the next year, with Rui Sheva & Inzaghi (one of which is always injured during part of the campagin).
Must admit that CL is also a lot about luck too. |

Winning the League(any league) is about consistency while winning the CL has more to do with luck.
Playing in CL is about getting your team fireup at the right time, for example if Juve play Chelsea one month earlier, Juve would have won instead of crashing out. I think this is a good defeat for ITL football as they know they must now change their ways of thinking both on and off the field to compete with the rest of the world, namely EPL and SPL. |

I think, CL is a more of strategy. A draw or 0-1 defeat could mean nothing if the strategy had been set and done properly. This is what Ancelotti master of. Of course luck plays important role too but it's still below the handle of the game (players character and mentality to the game, experience, etc) regarding their contribution to the result of the game. This is, for example, what ManU (Ferguson) have shown in the last couple of years with their new team. In other hand, Inter can't blame their luck if they fail every year.
Milan were 'already' out when it rained so much in San Siro but they knew how to handle the lost of 3-2 in San Siro even ManU are so accustomed playing in the big rain. Just to add another example. |
