I really doubt Donadoni wants Borriello regardless of reports. Borriello couldn't even sniff the field for Euro 2008 even when Luca Toni was world class garbage during the tournament.

![]() I personally used to think that Dida was indefensible, but Blacktop has proven me wrong. And I laud her for that, and I'm not being facetious when I say that. You have to admire how quickly and consistently she comes to his aid. Out of respect for Blacktop, I have desisted from Dida-bashing. There are many here who have various man crushes on Maldini, Kaka' etc. and they too behave in the same way. I think the issue here is less to do with his wages than . |

Blacktop, are you BMWTaylor?
Exactly, Borri is free for Napoli if we get Santacroce in return. It'd mean getting 2 new forwards, but I'm happy for us to be in that situation. |

Im 100% against KAnoute in Milan. He is a good palyer, but is already 31/32 years old. Its 3 years too late on Kanoute.
If Milan is ready to negotiate with donadoni and Napoli Boriello and somehow manage to include Santacroce it would be brilliant. We all know Donadoni is practically a pure Milanista even when he was working for Italy NT. PSG's no.9 in a very interesting forward. I havent seen him much, but he is a very tall and looks like an accurate young striker. Reminds a bit of Teezeguet. MAybe Geo Tav can help us - Geo? Also, calciomercato is saying this: Milan's first reinforcement will be gourcuff back. Then we'll go for one CB to partner Silva and for one CF ( Kanoute, Eto'o, Adebayor, Drogba ). Aguero's agent in in italy to talk to Inter. The idea is Ibra-Aguero pairing for CL win. And MAxwell's agent says there are two options: Milan and Barcelona and the choice is on the player. But he will surely go from Inter. Immagine: Marchetti, Maxwell, CB ( Alex ), Gorucuff, Adebayor/Eto'o, Abate... for me its a spot on mercato. And Carlo to Madrid. ![]()

As for Borriello to Napoli, I think it's too early to tell if there's anything in the story, but if Napoli are interested, we must immediately negotiate for Santacroce imo. Maxwell is a good player, but even if he's not coming we can still hope for Clichy after his latest interview. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,195...098293,00.html I agree that if these rumours turn out to have some truth in them then we can hope for a really positive mercato. However, I have a big doubt on whether we'll get Eto'o or Adebayor (their prices will be too high), but also if Borriello leaves for Napoli, then we're in a tough situation where we need at least 2 new forwards of good quality and I've found it pretty hard thinking of potential buys we can make in the striking department. PS - the PSG forward you're referring to is probably Guillaume Hoarau Last edited by ACMILAN1983; 25-03-2009 at 07:41. |

.The other reservation is regarding the attack. If we have Kaká, Dinho and Gourcuff next season, plus the likes of Seedorf and Abate, we probably won't be playing with two genuine strikers a lot. So my concern is that having someone like Eto'o or Adebayor (a big profile) would stand in the way of Pato's development. Plus it would cost a fortune to bring one of those two players (and Adebayor is overrated + why would Eto'o leave?). I'm more in favour of bringing someone who wouldn't be to "big" to sit on the bench in some of the games, maybe play 33% of the games alone up front, play 33% up front with Pato and sit on the bench in 33% of games, when Pato is playing alone. Or something like that (and I don't know what we'll do with the remaining 1% ).Someone like Hoarau of PSG would fit the bill, Dzeko of Wolfsburg too. Then we might consider selling Borriello. He seemingly can't get fit again, and as we need someone reliable (both fitness and performance-wise), he would be wasted if we sign another young and strong striker. A Santacroce-for-Borriello+cash swap with Napoli would be lovely. As for the Kanouté rumour: he's a really good player, but too old, and he tends to drop deep into the midfield, which isn't exactly what we need. Last edited by Ceceves; 25-03-2009 at 07:46. |

"The problem with Mourinho is that either you are Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and he also invites you to his house, or you are a dead man, and this is not right, The relations between Mourinho and Maxwell are over, and the trainer doesn't care about it. Where will he go? He can go where he can find an agreement, AC Milan or Barcelona. Inter said that they won't sell him to AC Milan? The decision is not up to them, we will terminate the contract, we will pay what we have to pay. Juventus? I haven't received any concrete offer, but I think that all the great clubs admire this player". transfermarketweb.com |

Mediaset is predicting mercato around 25 mln which includes Marchetti, Maxwell, one cb and one forward. And Yoan would be back. I also hope Abate, aldough he isnt top class he can be a usefull player in a long season as a wide solution. Aldough personally I dont expect abate back.
As boring says, its not ossible Galliani and Braida like Kjaer more then Santacroce. But aguess we'll see. The feeling is more and more that Milan will not give Carlo his players and the man will move on. Also with that 25 mln our player might actually be Kanoute, which leaves Milan with possibility of playing young Pato oftenly in x-mas tree formation, and also playing Kanoute and Boriello when needed. And if we are to bring an old player, better to buy Toni, not Kanoute. If its possible of course. Also, I dont want Seedorf in Milan anymore. He is not needed when Yoan is back. Pirlo will not leave for sure aldough his game is pathetic and simply not up to the level of serious football anymore. Maybe with a new coach and ( after like 3 years ) some normal summer work. When we look back we can see that Milan started ready from the 1st round - when?? like 5 years ago. It is not acceptable. Im asking from Milan to do their work seriousely, starting from building the strategy together and with precise planning. Without money "laundring" on players like emerson etc. The most important thing of all is that Milan starts to play and look like they actually have training sessions and not to improvise 90% of the time. The ball doesnt have to go to Pirlo first, players need to move, mix and we need to have players who can play different roles with speed and precision. football has changed in past 3 years, we need to follow it. Its more now about making 3,4 precise signings and train hard, with possibly Nesta back. Then we can talk about results. Not before that. And I claim, again, that if Carlo stays we will not be a serious team again.

For me if we want a great team like Barca,Liverpool,Man Utd or even the merda has, we need no grannies, grannies are finished in high level clubs except if they can do the work that a 27 years old can do.We need speed, and runs, this team is very old, the static football is finished.
We need new GK,LB,RB,1 CD,2 MD,2 strikers.8 players.Yeah great Berlu will sign them for sure. ![]() And what will we sign: 1 CD,1 striker and bring back gourcuff. Do you still believe we have a chance next year for Serie-A or CL? NOPE. |

If we sign Maxwell, one class CB, Gourcuff and one forward like Adebayor/Eto'o, we can fight for the scudetto. If our players that we bring in are not at high level, I do not expact any impact from Milan next year considering I can see Ambrosini and Pirlo losing their natural stamina.
But one player I would have in mind as Leonardo's choice, and noone talks about him: Hernanes. For some while it has been quiet about him, but there were numerous news about him and Leonardo before.
