If we are signing Thiago Silva, Cannavaro and then another young player, then Cannavaro is mroe than welcomed. If, however, Cannavaro's signing means we are not signing that other young defender, then to hell with Cannavaro.
I agree. If Alex/Santacroce suddenly become available, obviously they are the better choices..however I can't see any great CB's being available this summer just yet so I think Cannavaro would fit just fine for the next year. Then the year after maybe we will have a better chance with other up and coming players.

Unless we have an ace up our sleeve, I say we should get Cannavaro.

If I'm not wrong, and to make it clear:
- we can have 3 non-EU players registered in the team for a season
- we can buy 2 non-EU players in a single season

Thiago Silva was bought in January.
He will take one non-EU spot next season.

As one of you mentionned, our non-EU players registered this season are Shevchenko, Viudez and Dida. It's why Thiago Silva can't play.
But Shevchenko is going to go back to London, Viudez is likely to be loaned, and, it's what I hope, Dida could leave.

So at the next mercato, we could buy two non-EU players to complete the spots ... we just have to hope that these new non-EU players won't be jokes like the ones we have this year.

Cannavaro is not coming. Yesterday there was an interview with Galliani and he said this about Cannavaro: "Cannavaro is not coming. Besides, you taught me, that a 35 year old defender is too old." So maybe Galliani is finally getting it... And about Thiago Silva, Carlo Ancelotti said that people are really going to be surprised at what he is capable of. He said that he is very quick, good in the air and strong.

I had this argument with someone before. Sheva was bought on a permenent basis. He's not going anywhere.

I believe Sheva said it himself earlier this week that he's going back to Chelsea after this season and will have to discuss his future with them.

Sheva was not bought on a permenent basis. He said that after the season he is going back to Chelsea and together with them will decide what to do. Also Ancelotti said a while ago, that Sheva is leaving, Inzaghi can no longer play two or three games in a row, so that basicly leaves us with Borriello and Pato. So that is why we need another striker.

Sheva was loaned with an option allowing us to buy him ... which we obviously and fortunately won't do. It's official since January or February (before these months, nobody could know what was the deal as nor Chelsea, nor Milan announced anything about it).

We can be 90% sure we'll have 4 strikers next year in PAto, Boriello, Pippo and one bih CF, most likely Carlo will want Adebayor. If Carlo leaves Dinho will stay, if Carlo stays Dinho will leave.

It would be good if both went far,far away

Agger still hasnt signed anything and I can see him playing for Milan, seriousely. But I dont think he is a tipe of player we need as a pair to Thiago. In ANY case, if NEsta will not be back, we need 3 palyers at the back. Not one , not two... 2 cb's and a fullback.

If that fullbacks turns out to be Oddo Im gonna die of laughter.

Inzaghi is going to play his last year ... so he'll be there for sure. But in what role ? Starter, 2nd striker, 3rd striker, 4th striker, joker ? I'd prefer him being used as a joker !!

Ancelotti said many times that Borriello was the powerful striker we need and that he will be able to play that role next year, so we don't need another one of that kind. So if Adebayor comes (that won't happen), that won't be Ancelotti's choice. If Ancelotti had really the choice, he would take Eto'o as he already said he wants to have him.

Let's also call back Paloschi, even if some people want him to still be loaned one more year, in Serie A this time.

Pato, Borriello, Paloschi + Inzaghi as a joker in Europe and very important games in Serie A. Another player would be needed. If it is Eto'o, so let's not call back Paloschi, if it is a good striker but with a lower profile than Pato, so we can call back Paloschi.

About Oddo, I just hope we won't sell him to Bayern to buy Toni for example ... and I also hope we won't call him back !!

I have a bad feeling we are gonna sign Cannavaro.
Another one finished and not needed is always welcome to Milan. I hope we don't sign him.
We gonna retire a 40 years old and sign a 36? It sounds like a joke.

Carlo speaks about powerfull forward and wants Eto'o?

In my oppinion, Milan doesnt need a tall forward at all. We just need one class forward so we can play normal 4-3-1-2. Eto'o is a better player then Adebayor and is a clinical finisher, but Carlo keeps talking ( all year long....) about high forward. Not everyone is Ibra.

Milan played like hell with Rui-Pippo-Sheva. And with Kaka'-Rui-Sheva. It doesnt matter. The midfield matters, and ours does not work.

No, Carlo said that the so-called powerful striker (or tall striker or whatever you want) should have been and should be Borriello next season.
He always said he was a fan of Eto'o, and seriously, if he had choice, he would have taken 10 times Eto'o instead of R80 I think.

And so, Carlo doesn't keep talking about a tall/high/powerful striker.
