UFFICIALE: Flavio Roma è del Milan

I think Milan are now afraid from Dida's injury, that is he is not going to recover very soon. So with a hopeless Kalac Milan had no other alternative but to bring a short term goalkeeper as at the moment only Storari is available and competition starts very soon.

we signed roma because kalac is useless, leo saw this and released him, we have signed a goalie 2 years younger who iwll probably have less wages and has a contract til next year with an option for 1 more this is a good deal in every way:

we get a better goalie
goalie gets payed less
goalie is italian
goalie is younger


and yeah, maybe we could have signed a younger goalie but this is a short term option and when dida and roma contracts run out next year, we'll sign a good young goalie

yes.

but i have visisted in the past, just this forum seems less active than R&B and R&B has a lighter colour scheme and i like that.

but anyway, kalac was useless and we're replacing him with a better, younger, cheaper goalie who will only stay for a year, than at the end of this season dida, roma and maybe storari will leave and we'll sign a great young keeper

We would always get "Inhler", always thought his name was close enough to our cousins. I probably mis-spelled it though

I'm telling you, Abbiati's injury is probably medium to long term plus Dida is not fit, so this means we only had Storari as starting keeper and Kalac as his sub--which is pretty damn scary (for us, not for the opposition obviously ), So hence, we upgrade Kalac to Roma who should be more reliable.

And of course, if the rumours are true, then Marchetti next year and our GK problems should be solved!! Hopefully..

It's doubtful Marchetti will even come at all next season, as he signed a contract with Cagliari and they'd be idiots to let him go.

Do you mean Gökhan Inler? I heard that Inter was seriously interested in him. I havent' watch much of him, but he seems a fine player.

You have to remember they still owe us from that Suazo saga

Blacktop, see I told you. Dida and Abbiati are going to be out for a while. So basically it's going to be direct competition between Storari and Roma for the number 1 jersey.

As for Flavio Roma's first press conference, I've never heard a team being described as a centrifuge before Let's hope we don't spin and keep going down as the season wears along.
