can Dominic Adiyiah take Dinho's spot to the left of the CF? or is he more of a center guy? he is only 5'7" so i doubt he is a true CF... it would be great if in the next couple years we could have Pato-Hunter/Paloschi-Adiyiah

Is it confirmed we got the guy? I think priority should be Verdi's - he shall fit nicely into 4-3-3, right or left..

Adiyiah is nowhere near the level required to play for Milan yet. This season he hasn't even been good enough to play for the 14th best team in Norway. If he is signed he will be loaned out like other youngsters.

GK: Dida, Storati, ABBIATI, Roma

RB: Oddo, Abate

RCB: Nesta, BONERA, Onyewu

LCB: T. Silva, Kaladze, Favalli

LB: Zambrotta, Antonini, Jankulovski

DM: Ambrosini, GATTUSO, Flamini

CF: Inzaghi, Huntelaar, Borriello (*)

With all capital letters are long time casualties. Beckham is there too. Borriello can play RSS (or scoring SS, if Ronny is creating SS ).

From this, it obvious that whatever will one say, we're well fed at side-back positions. What we really need is: One good cover CB, as Bonera is injured and Kaladze is bad. Imagine what would happen if we lose Nesta for CL elimination phase; then, one CM/AM who can create and defend, on Seedorf's place (I see Hernanes there, but he's too expensive for us); and finally at least one SS on Ronny's place who can create and also score on the occasion.

If we maintain good league position till January and cover this places (a cover(s) for Seedorf and Ronny MUST arrive) then I'm really an optimist.

I wish so much we had got Gorcuff back. Oh well. Can Verdi back Dinho? I agree that we are going to need to buy some players to back up them for our 4-3-3. It is not good having no cover for old players like Seedorf and Dinho

can't believe some people want Verdi ahead of R80 in the starting lineup.....wakeup people, thats not going to happen.

why not give a player like Verdi a chance? also dinho has screwed up many games, why cant a young player gets the chance to prove himself?

I dont mind giving kids chances to play however I don't believe in Verdi just yet after seeing a few clips and highlights of several matches this year. However if you told me a player like Strasser should get a chance I would agree...but no way Verdi or Zigoni, they're not ready. Just like Di Gennaro (who is definitely a quality player), but when he plays with the big guns, he sucks so bad. Take a look at Abate who many here already think is an accomplished player, he's had just as many horrible games for us this year as he has had good games.

probably because he is playing out of position. Dinho has arguably had just as many or more horrible games then good ones And the only reason at the moment I would play Verdi over Dinho is to rest him for a game. He needs a break before Madrid. Pirlo and Seedorf and maybe even Pato as well

Gourcuff would be perfect for that spot, he tracks back, he can defend, in fact I don't think there's one player better for that position in our system then him. Of course, when he plays in Bordeaux, it doesn't mean he would play the same for us. Remember Gila, I thought back then that he's the best no. 9 in the world and he sucked for us, now he's good with Fiorentina.

I don't know anything about Verdi and other Primavera players.

The best choice would be if we could find the player who can play both LSS and CM/AM but it would be very hard, cause there's hardly a player who can score some goals and defend when needed. I don't want to speculate also, once Galliani mention some names, we can discuss. He already said that we need a SS. That Ghanian is surely a long term investment, but we need the player who can play NOW.

Carlo 'developed' Kaka, Pato and Gattuso, and arguably Pirlo too.

i think Leo is the right person to get the best out of Ronaldinho and Pato. Ronaldinho does well when he has to prove himself, like when he was on the bench at Barca and everyone was saying he was fat and washed out, that got him mad and he came back with a vengence albeit a short lived one.
