He did? as early as that? all I remember was game vs Siena, when he threw Paloschi in & the kid scored the only goal of the game..

what really surprised me was all 3 subs were used up for youngsters, thats all..

It is definitely true, he did it with Darmian and Strasser as well as others in the coppa (they sometimes played the whole match).

I don't think Ancelotti is against youth as such, it's just that during his time at Milan we either didn't have youth worth trying out (especially in his early years) or we weren't ever really comfortable enough to let him test youth during matches (later years). I must agree though, it's probably a first that I've seen him use 3 youngsters as subs in one match.

Well, although I was and still is not a Carlo fan, actually, I think he sucks. But to his defense, I really did not think there were much youth during his early years, beside most of the team at that time were in their mid 20s or late 20s, other words pretty much the whole team were at their prime.
During his later years, there were youth but it was not enough and he did choose to reply on the older players more b/c he needed the results, despite some of them playing like pure crap.

True, and I think now Leo has a 'better batch' of youngsters at his disposal, in Zigoni (scoring in almost all youth matches), Verdi (looks good on the video & does score too), Albertazzi (should have improved much by now), Strasser (whom he had confidence in him last game), Darmian (on loan), Beretta? and etc...

Hopefully he got the chance & make use of it to field those kids, during Copa Italia, at least.. or some seria-A matches, like what he did vs Cagliari.. He's proven to have eyes to spot talents , and now lets not waste those talents

When does the Coppa Italia start anyway? We're in November yet I've heard nothing of it. Do we join next year or something?

i like Albertazzi and Verdi,i expect them to feature in first team in short time,as so many italian fans said,Albertazzi cant do worse than Kaladze,so play him instead Kaladze...Dont pay 4 m euros a year to him in a time we need every cent....

Friendly: Milan 5 - 0 Piacenza (Gaeta x2, Zigoni, Scampini, Aquilante)

You can see highlights from selected matches here: http://www.acmilan.com/infoPage.aspx?id=88187

We're currently second in the standings, 1 point behind Atalanta.

EDIT: Look at the goal from #7 against Vicenza...absolutely amazing strike.
