im happy with the game we played,Come on guys,What did you expect us to do without Pato vs a Napoli side which defends well and 1-0 leading the game...

Pirlo fighted well and did well,Silva was great,Flamini was great,i think its his best perfonmance i've ever seen...was fantastic perfonmance.Ronaldinho did well...Seedorf did nothing expect one great pass to Mancini...

What did you expect from Mancini?it was a good game from him,he did well yet Mancini is not a Milan class player...we all know his limit...he has limits...stole some fouls, created 1-2 chances and thats all...normal player...

Favalli did well...Pippo did well...Pato's injury costed us the game yet im happy cuz we showed charachter and determination to win this game.thats more important to me than a win today...inter in Cl and has many hard games to play, they will lose more points than us...with Pato we could have been leader today.we missed him so bad...with Roma we could have won the game with him, with inter,Livorno, the other one we drawed,we could have won all game expect inter game...

Whos guilty here?Galliani?Who didnt sign a replacement for Pato and signed Beckham and Adiyiah for Primavera?Adiyiah plays for Primavera, who told us he was replacemtn for both Dinho and Pato...Galliani...imagine what happens if Ronaldinho injures as well?

we have 4,5 back up CB and our most reliabre Cb is 40 years old Favalli...There are many wrong things here...Galliani cant manage Milan anymore...

Leo did well maybe he could change Pippo with Huntelaar early or with Mancini early...Mancini is not someone who can change this game for us...he is a normal player...

i was not happy with Zambrotta today, his long balls and crosses were too high,we lost many balls thanks to him...Oddo on the other hand, was not enough...

We need Pato to win scudetto...healty and inform Pato...we need Ronaldinho and him not to injure themself,we should pray for it...Favalli and Silva parthership was good today,i hope they improves more and more...

you should listen to our coach more - there is still 9 games, and stop thinking that we fail to catch up with inter once it's the end of the world.

anyways, some posters need to freaking grow up..

When I say that Mancini was good, it's because he was available, don't forget it was only his second of third game, and he managed to create 2-3 chances. So, that's ok for me.

Oh and MOI, you seem to forget that we faced Napoli, not Siena !! What did you think ? A 5-0 win ?

I'm proud of my team today, and if we can play with this grinta all our games until the end, I have no doubt we will be champions ...
i totally agree with revolver..
for me it was the most dissapointing game of the season together with man unt first game..
if you check the schedule, you'll see that loosing games like this one at this point is like suisiding..we wont have many chances because inter will not keep loosing forever, and our road will get very tough in the end!

for me mancini was awful,he was the one that should have been subed out,not seedrorf..
also its hard for me to understand Leo,he plays with flamini-rino-pirlo-becks against chievo, and against napoli he uses only flamini as a dm..

flame i also agree that some posters should grow up,but i dont think that your posts are the most mature in here, when you call people "negative nancy" or refer to their sex life all the time..

you are attacking the tone of my posts,
while I am referring to the substance behind people's posts
- two completely different things

i tend to reply in the same tone as the original poster, hence the negative nancy comments. i just can't help letting people get away with their artificially intelligent, artificially pist off, genuinely ridiculous posts

anyway, if you want to debate, try tackling my opinion, not the tone of the opinion

But here is the problem !!
We didn't lose !! We could have lost, but we didn't, of course, we could have also won, but we didn't too ...

And contrarly to what several posters think, in my opinion, the derbys could be the two games that will be the most important at the end of this season (I hope they won't as if they are really important, that will mean it's thanks to them that Inter wins the championship, whereas if they're not important, that means we are the champions !! ) ...

Both teams are very close, more than anyone could think.
Inter: 17-9-3 (60 points)
Milan: 17-8-4 (59 points)

Cancel both derbys, and you have:
Milan: 17-8-2 (59 points)
Inter: 15-9-3 (54 points)

So, from my point of view, we can't say "our team struggles when we can take the lead" or "we have to wait Inter gives us the title" ... It's just the contrary, we had better results than them, which allowed us to be where we are and mathematically cancel the two defeats in both derbys.

If the tendancy doesn't change, we could win this Scudetto, not with +10 of course, but for one or two points ...

Geo man, that is just a point of view, because you may be right that if we dont count the derbies we would be first, but for me it sounds more realistic saying that if we had won today we would be first too..

the substance remains the same..

although my problem is that we dont seem to improve,to fix our problems..like we did on the first round..we cant always rely on 2-3 players, how can you win a championship like this?
i dont think we dont have any chances i just think we keep loosing some again and again..

its not like if we won today it would have been big difference on the points, its about the wrong mentality or we re incapable(which i dont believe)..

and still inter's schedule is worst than ours for me,roma and fio out are harder than any of ours, and they play chl too..this championship has our name written all over it,and still its like we dont want it that bad.

i only read the part addressed directly at me.

anyway, our management thinks we had a good game, the coach thinks we had a goods game, even the players think it was good. their expertise already any subjective opinion you can possible produce.

basically you are saying that "we must have won every game as soon as Inter started dropping points" in the last month. that is laughable to say the least. We are not Barca (we don't have the players nor do we have their form). even established teams like ManU lose in their league from time to time.

anyway, at the moment we are 1 point behind Inter, and our task for the rest of the season is not to lose more points than they do and our taks is NOT to win every game
so this round of Serie A was a success - no points lost to Inter

-- understanding this takes growing up I guess

i have already answered to this BS
just look on the schedule genious, and then speak about "tasks"

collecting more points than inter is nearly impossible if we dont win the "easy" ones(or the easiers if u prefer),because we're not barca to win every single match(like the last 4)..

you keep talking about growing up,but i remember a lot of posters asking you"how old are u?"..i guess for a reason..

Come on, man, don't be so harsh!

The team did their best. Oddo was a catastrophe, but that's his ability, he couldn't do better.

We played without 4 first team players: Nesta, Pato, Antonini, Abate.
Imagine Inter without Samuel, Maicon, Zanetti & Millito, they'll lose miserably. Regardless how deep their squad is, there are some irreplacable players.

1st - Inter (60 pts)
2nd - Milan (59 pts)
3rd - Roma (56 pts)
4th - Palermo (47 pts)
5th - Sampdoria (47 pts)
6th - Juventus (45 pts)
7th - Genoa (42 pts)
8th - Napoli (42 pts)
9th - Fiorentina (41 pts)
10th - Cagliari (39 pts)
11th - Bari (39 pts)
12th - Parma (38 pts)

20/03/10 - 18:00
Fiorentina 3-0 Genoa (FT)

20/03/10 - 20:45
Palermo 1-1 Inter (FT)
Roma 4-2 Udinese (FT)

21/03/10 - 15:00
Cagliari 0-2 Lazio (FT)
Milan 1-1 Napoli (FT)
Bari 1-1 Parma (FT)

21/03/10 - 20:45
Sampdoria 1-0 Juventus (FT)

Terrible week for Juventus: drawing against Siena at home (after leading 3-0), being humiliated in Fulham and now losing against a direct opponent ...

They don't make me laugh anymore, they're too pathetic ...

Just imagine this scenario: last game, if we win, we are champions (we have one more point than Roma ) and Juventus is out for any European competition, if we lose, Juventus gets a place in CL and we lose the title.
Of course, in this perfect scenario, we win, I don't really know if we would win 4-0 or if there would be some suspens with a late goal of Milan ...
Just dreaming ...

Serie A looks scary now.

After Palermo, Juve lost against a direct opponent again.

Palermo & Samp have the most points: 47.
Juve is behind with 45, but they have thirsty Napoli (42), Genoa (42) and Fio (41) dashing towards the top. Cagliari (39) has good coach & good squad, they will fight for at least a Europa League position.

Beside the top 3, these 7 will cause much trouble for anyteam. All 10 teams have good squad, coach & finance. Except Palermo, they won Scudettoat least once.

Serie A is not very financial competitive, but it really reminds me of the 7 sisters age of 1990s (Juve, Milan, Inter, Roma, Lazio, Fio & Parma).

Interesting, even thrilling.

I think it's the most exciting season since years ... not only because we're in the race for the title, but like you said, because there are several very good teams able to beat any team in a good day !!

Some clubs have a real strategy, and they start to see some benefits from it:
- Palermo
- Napoli since some years, let's not forget they were in Serie C in 2004 if I'm not wrong
- Genoa and Sampdoria, both teams probably trying to take profit from their rivality to grow up together (they have similar results) ...

The fact that some historical clubs like Bari and Parma are back in Serie A (it's their first year, but they seem to have somme good project too) also adds some more excitement and entertainment to the championship.

So, yes, Inter, Milan and Roma look better than all other teams in this championship (if you disagree, just compare the results), but actually, all teams in this Top 10 can beat each other or almost.

If all these teams can keep their best players (of course, I'm not against the fact that some of their best players come to Milan ) and build their team around them, and if Bari and Parma continue on this way, Serie A will have the best Top 8, Top 10 and Top 12 of Europe ...

PS: The same story seems to happen in France with 6-7 teams fighting for the title (even if Bordeaux still looks a bit better, but for example, Lyon is the last team in the table of all these title contenders). In England, it doesn't happen, it's more a drop of Liverpool that leads to the situation in this championship. And in Spain, you have Real and Barcelona beating almost all the other teams or drawing, almost never losing, and you have teams like Valencia or Sevilla trying to follow, but they can't.

EDIT: And again, even if these teams are built around one or two potential stars (Pastore-Miccoli-Cavani in Palermo, Hamsik-Lavezzi in Napoli, Cassano-Pazzini in Sampdoria), they also have a complete squad and try to play an attractive football, even against the Top 3 teams (the exception: Inter-Sampdoria).

Gosh, Abi's been playing like sh-t since Man U. Remind me again why people think he's the cat's pajamas (besides the fact that people hate Dida's guts)?
