If they line up with 3 defenders, then i cannot see us not scoring. And its not like we are talking about Nesta-Baresi-Maldini in defense…

But three DM's on our behalf? If anything I feel like it would be counter productive even defensively. Let's not talk about the offensive options.

Milan - Lazio

Regarding the results, a win tonight is a must for 2 reasons:
- Scudetto
- Not having to take a look to the teams behind us

Flamini (a powerful shot), Seedorf (a FK, long time since we didn't see a goal on FK happening in Milan !! ), Inzaghi (simply SuperPippo), Borriello (has to score to remember how you feel when that happens) and, why not, a player of your choice will score tonight ...

i feel safe seeing the propable line up,i guess because of the trio in medfield..
its a game that we need an inspiring seedorf..

it would be idiotic to see hunter starting as many want..pippo should start together with borrielo..

ps.seeing the schedule it seems roma have really some good chances winning the league, but things would have been so much defferent if we had won the 2 last games..its so dissapointing for me

What you guys all forget is that Roma is known for always failing against the minor teams!!!

Yes but they are still the team that draw against livorno, and then won Inter in space of a week. dont get me wrong..I would not mind if roma won the scuddetto...I only have problem with Inter winning it.

By reading your reasonment about Roma, by reading again the statistics about Inter before their CL games (my post on the previous page I think), actually, all we have to care about is us ?

Our both opponents should lose points and could take no profit of each other bad performances ... but let's not forget it's a race with three teams, especially if we win tonight, so if they can't take profit of the bad performances of each other, maybe the third team, the one looking like the underdog now (after the win of Roma against Inter, we are the underdog despite being 2nd since a while) could well be the final winner ...

Love it, thanks guys, my optimism grows each day !!

PS: I hope it won't decrease around 22:45 ...

EDIT: I said I don't think Inter will draw/lose against Bologna next W-E, but they will play without Lucio (not a problem for them), Maicon (it's more problematic because of the following missing player), Zanetti and Eto'o (which can also be a problem if Balotelli is still out of the squad). Well, that could smell the draw between Bologna and Inter ??

very hard to keep possession, nonetheless a very combative midfield..Clean sheet with a corner or free kick goal will do it.

Seedorf must step up...or he is done forever!!

Agreed. I have a feeling Thiagogol will go on the score sheet

wow what an ugly game this is going to be... I expect to see Flamini attacking the right flank like never before.

Why Thiagogol? Why not simply Thiagol?

Anyway, I hate the oveused 'gol' nickname. Very lazy.

Leo and Tasotti keep impressing me with their tactical choices. I was worried they'd use Gattuso, this team, with Abate and Flamini, is very balanced (even with all the injuries/suspensions).

I have a great feeling about this game. When we try to force the 433 with slow players, it just doesn't work. 4312 is a great tactic for a slow team, as you can maintain possession with too much fear of being hit on the break. We hold on, wait for the opening (Pippo!) and then strike when Lazio sleeps.

We'll win. Pippo hatrick.

Actually, I don't think it's going to be ugly at all. Flamini will most likely play very deep, with Abate right and Ambro left. Antonini needs to overlap constantly to pull one of the three central defenders and free up space for Pippo.

SUPERPIPPO!!!!!!!

Thank goodness Abate instead of Rino , hope is eternal but we really should be putting Lazio to the sword...
