Regarding non-eu spots, is the following correct?

We get one automatically and then will get an extra one if Ronaldinho goes?

Also, as Luis Fabiano has been in Spain since 2005, would he still take up a non-eu spot or is that 5 year rule only an Italian thing?

I've also read a couple of things that have linked Robinho to us, but only very loosely.

Btw, can't believe we paid 7 millions for youngsters(sure they can turn into stars in the future), and are letting a guy that would be a priority go to Napoli, PSG or other team because of money. Jucilei should a priority for us, even more for 8millions...

thanks for your opinion Brasileiro. It's difficult to say who we can get from Non-EU this summer. Personally, my real hope is one of Ganso or Jucilei (depending on our needs), though it looks unlikely at this point.

As for our other rumours, Ibra again tipped to replace Dinho, which is fair though I fear how much we'll spend elsewhere if we get Ibra. That said, Berlu is apparently prepared to block the move for Dinho.

Papastathopoulos of Genoa has been again linked to us. Previously it was said we wanted to give one of Janku or Kaladze in exchange, but our failure to get rid of them means Strasser could be included in the deal (presumably on loan or co-ownership).

Fossati has made his first comments since rejoining Milan and has said he hopes to play an important role in the club in the future.

Finally there are the rumours about Podolski as many know. Not a favourite for me, but certainly if he came he could be a useful option to have in the squad, maybe even as a starter if we can get the best out of him (he's talented but never lived up to expectations imo).

The president of Flamengo said that Ronaldinho can come only if Milan lets him leave for free ?! Isn't it from public knowledge that we need money ?

Anyway, isn't there any good or promising player in Flamengo who could play for us ? If there is, why not swapping Ronaldinho with 2 players from this club for example (with no money in the deal) ?

Both clubs could win from such a situation: Milan with a big salary cancelled and new players, Flamengo with a star player (who would surely play well there, I don't know why, a bit like Adriano, surely the fact of living in his country again, near his family, etc).

WOW, didn`t realize that Podolski thing was so serious, I thought it was just a rumor, but this article suggest that once Hunter will be sold, Podolski will be bought. Galliani even said that he has talked to Koln and they are looking for 12 mil.
I truly believe that Hunter-Podolski swap is an upgrade.

Podolski is a player that u can use to play high pressure tactics on defenders.

^ It's true his NT performance has often been better than his club play but it's a crazy world if Podolski is cheaper than Huntelaar right after this World Cup.

I thought the number of spots was already reduced to 1, effective this transfer season. Someone correct me if I'm wrong but there was a big commotion last week or week before last when they decided to change the rule..and I think Jim, what you're referring to is the old rule.

You're right, Codino...
Mario, Hernanes, Jucilei, Arouca are battle tested and can give us versatility too. I can't see us paying the money Santos would ask for Ganso or Neymar, and Internacional for Giuliano... Would be amazing one of these players, but our reality changed.

Regarding Mario, his ability to play in a high level at all defense positions is invaluable. Plus, has or can get a EU-passport.

It's 8 or 80 with us nowadays We came from a team that only got veterans, to change for a team that is only spending in youth players. I'm really concerned about our CL spot next season.

You don't have money, ok... Even with only 2 non-EU spot, go for guys tested in professional teams, but with potential to be world class. But all I read is we are linked with middle players(without much potential) used to lead middle and small clubs from Serie A to nothing!!

BTw, just to give my opinion... I don want Podolsky or Ibra. I hope we fail here...

Robinho and Luis Fabiano are "Spanish players"... If I'm not wrong, they would not take a spot. But maybe I'm wrong...

Regarding Ganso, I can't believe Santos will sell him for less than 20million. At least in this window. They already get money selling Andre(CF), and for the amount they will ask, imo we will be out.

Btw, I still looking for the footage you ask me. Yesterday I was talking to a former player(played in the 60's) if he knows how to get it, but nothing. But he confirmed that saw it in the past, and said it was amazing!

I heard about that mate, but i thought it just applied to the amount of new non-eu players a team can register each season not the total amount. It's a big limitation if it's the latter! Which also means we can't buy any non-eu player as Ronaldinho currently has our non-eu spot

I assume buying non-eu players from within Italy still stays the same though?

No i don't think Italy has any limitation on the total number of non-EU players that the team can contain..the limitation is on the number of new non-EU players that you can sign in the year. Recently I believe you could have signed up to two new players providing you let one go..but with this rule you would only be allowed to sign one player period. Correct me if I'm wrong anyone..but I think that is how it works now.

its very sad for me to read Galliani's comments, we needed to sell to sign a player like Podolski...we dont have economic power to sign a 10 m euros player.its not easy to accept, thats not easy...

We signed a inter 20 years old Primavera player for 5 m Euros. Fossati and another player for 2 m euros. its normal becuz Fossati's contract with inter ends next season.

We are strengthing the Primaver and however using all money we have for there, and renewing crap, finished and very old players's contracts one more year. We linked with a Genoa player, a rotation defender at most...its not Milan's style...i could accept if we signed Krhin...we even cant sign Obi and Destro for that money...inter is very intelligent on the market.

Daminuta, 5 m euros player, loves partying, Ronaldinho wont be alone anymore, party, women, alcohol e.t.c. Fossati is called as next Pirlo by inter fans, inter has a great primavera, Krhin, Destro, Obi, Donati e.t.c. Cristeg...

if we have to sign inter youngsters, Please go and sign them Galliani Donati, Cristeg and Krhin.

Podolski is a good player yet i dont expect much from him as he can fail as well, very risky move. On that Germany formation, Everyone would play better and he did better than his normal season perfonmances. Muller and Basti are the players we should sign and add Oezil and Honda to them...

Van Der Wiel, honestly, first time i saw him at WC, i watched 2-3 games, also the WC final, he didnt impress me much, Offensively he is not good, at least he didnt convince me about it, he makes so many bad passes when he is on attack and this all returns with dangerous counters...Defensively he is good yet definetely he is not worth 17 m euros or more.

No to Podolski he is good in the national team but you cannot sell Huntelaar (even with a bad 1st season ) to buy a player who as a striker/winger has 17 goals in 4 years and less assists .Its clear that he is not a great goalscorer or provider at club level even with Bayern in Germany when they winning 4 5 6 7 -0 some games and winning the league by huge margins he couldnt hit double figures in goals.

I just do not see what he will add to our team , surely if Hunter and Dinho leave we can get more than Podolski , but the Kaka and Gorky left for alot more we balanced the books and a good bit of money and only got Hunter for 5 million over 3 years...and whatever Hunter goes for 5 of that will go to Madrid or 10.

Im still hoping to wake up or come home from work and login and BANG!!!! good signing , Im delighted that they at last are concentrating on youth but you cannot let your 1st team hit an average age of 35 while you do so , and even if 8 of them ( an enormous task by the way) you will still have to sign players.

They report that Dzeko refuses and said to his club to refuse all offers not coming from Milan.

If that's true, that's just amazing ... if it was confirmed, two thoughts come to my mind:
- respect to Dzeko, he must be as fan as us, or even more, to refuse everything just to have a chance to play in Milan
- sad for him and for the club that all happens nowadays and not 5-6 years ago because he would already be a Milan player
