1. Real Madrid will never humiliate themselves by selling Kaka back cheaply. They would rather have him rot on the bench than concede such a heavy defeat. ![]() 2. In my opinion Silva is worth more than 15 million (what we can get from sale of Ronaldinho). His current market value may be close to 15 m, but I feel that he will show his best in the future, and we would regret selling him. ![]()

2. I agree. Silva and Pato are the only players that can be considered an almost sure investment for the future as long as top-class football is concerned. I think nobody can say the same thing for Abbate or Antonini. So i think that Milan, as a team, must make it a priority to keep them both in San Siro. Imagine these two guys after 4-5 years still playing for our team. I can already see them as a part of our future backbone. I think they have what it takes. What do you guys think? |

as bad as we all felt when it happened maybe the sale of Kaka is the best and wiseest sale we have made in recent seasons, or Madrid are really stupid

![]() Getting Brazilian press and most fans in a surprise, Mano Menezes called Jucilei today in his first list. People are confused because they were betting Elias(very good MD) would be the Corinthians player called. Now his price will be high and if things go as I think, EPL teams will jump on the race... Regarding Bruno Cesar, very promising!! But still early to this type of hype(imo). Lets see how he finishes Brasileirão. One thing is for sure, it's not easy to come from a small team to play for Corinthians and shine... Even more so early. The difference in pressure is enormous! Props to him, but lets wait a little more before calling him the next big thing... Quote:
Just to clarify, several names couldn't be called for this game so, imo guys like Alex(Chelsea) and Mario Fernandes(Grêmio) would have be called if not injured. Also, there's a rumor Maicon asked to not be called this time. I like Mano Menezes first call up. Still think Arouca deserved to be there, but I can't argue with the names he called for DM. Very promising start for Brazil NT... Last edited by Brasileiro; 26-07-2010 at 17:46. |

Btw what do you think Mano Menezes Brasileiro? Read he was gonna play 4-2-3-1, does this mean Robinho as a LW'er or what? Could be quite similar to Dunga's formation though, you could make a case for calling Dunga's Brazil a 4-2-3-1. |

Never thought that Mano would call Jucilei up, ever since he was not even a starter in the last games, minus last match.
Still huge dissappointed that he did not take Bruno Cesar, but his time will come. Happy for my Hoffenheim boy Carlos Eduardo. 4 santos players - huge NO-GO. ![]() |

Is a product of São Paulo academy, but had some character problems in the beginning of his career. It's funny that he is still young, but since he started to play pro-football so early, I was thinking he was already at 28/29yo. Very skilled, score at will, and just 2 years ago turned his career, changing his attitude and became a real professional. The other is the CB called Rever that played for Mano Menezes at Grêmio. Big guy, but that I always thought was a little over hyped. Is coming back from a team of Bundesleague, because was bench material for his coach. Asked to come back to Brazil. Never rated him high(the other CB Henrique, too) but the press hyped them a lot in the past. Well, I'm almost always against Brazilian press/fans hype anyway ![]() Quote:
)and maybe for this, his teams are always well organized. So, don't expect a crazy Brazil NT attacking a lot without defensive organization. He is a real coach and will want a balanced team.Is a fan of 4-2-3-1, and said today will try this at Brazil NT. Always like to play with 2 DM, but likes the ones that know how to create. The proof is in the 4 he call today(Sandro, Jucilei, Lucas and Hernanes). All can defend and attack. Btw, you're completely right, Dunga's Brazil played a 4-2-3-1, with a little difference from the majority played in Europe. Robinho didn't have to defend like a LW, and that was the reason for Elano at the right. Also, F. Melo was responsible for to protect that left right and free Robinho. The press are raving here for maybe a... ---------------------------Pato------------------------- ------Robinho-------------Ganso---------------Neymar--- ... Against USA in August 10. It would be almost a Santos copy, but I don't believe Mano will try this. Yet, it would be interesting to see... |

As for Maicon, i agree we need a player like him. Us and every single coach in the world. But i am afraid a full back like him is nowhere to be found. I know you mean someone in the same style but i d love to grab him from Inter. The guy is a monster. Even the mighty Dani Alves is a step behind him in my opinion. Oh, where are the good old times, when you could exchange Francesco Coco for Seedorf and get Pirlo with little money and one Drazen Brncic... Inzaghi was a different player with Kaka behind him. More chances to score. It was a nice partnership that also happened to seal that magic night in Athens... Quote:

haha those were the good old days, players like pirlo and seedorf back then young talents never get sold at cheap prices nowadays.. and yea i do agree, i just re read my post on the kaladze part- perhaps i did over rate him a bit but u hit it dead on, he did us no arm tbh and had his couple good seasons.. soccer changed now too- it became a faster sport.. back when milan had their christmas tree formation, that was beautiful soccer handling posetion the hole game and scoring beautiful goals.. nowadays the best clubs are usually reliant on a solid defence, fast wingers and a midfielder capable of setting up plays (pirlo,r10 kaka etc players of that sort.) ahh its sad to see seria a once an overly competitive league resorting to a more kick and run based football nnot sure if i expressed it properly but what i mean is more basic game play but more efficient.. what happened to the milan and juve that could be efficient and play beautiful football...its sad to see the strongest start losing to the likes of inter who used to be half the team we were and teams like genoa and fiorentina/roma almost reaching us in the standings year in year out.. comon.. were ac milan we should be nowhere close to these teams tbh

In a way, it was good to see a team like Spain winning the WC. As they played a more attractive football than kick and run. The problem, not a lot of teams(both clubs and countries) have the players to play that way. Barcelona and Real(if JM sorts the midfield out) are the only two teams that have the players, while the rest just don't.
