To add 2 cents:
1. If Barca has no money to pay the wages, it means their current revenue doesn't cover up their current losses. So it's definitely a short term problem, not a long term.

2. And yes, Barca has developed some solid youth players, but imho it's impossible to evaluate how good they are so far. Both in Barca and in the Spanish national team they have 5-6 world class players around them, which no doubt makes them look better than they are. I'd like to see how Pedro, Busquets and others perform without their stars.

About youngsters, I think they always need the stars or experience players around to help & protect them. And IMO, Milan now could product players like Pedro & Busquets, have some talent, will to contribute & discipline, though not wonder kid like Messi, Cecs, Iniesta,...

Gattuso just had a bad season, he deserves a chance. He is not Kala. With new contract, he will have less wage and know his place.

I have a weird idea, why not try him in RB position? He can't cover a lot of space like before, but a defensive RB is OK.

One more proof you have to do your home work, and don't buy the "used to European game" argument as a fact. It's a matter of opinion, but I really don't understand how clubs can easily pay this value for a defender(and others of another positions just because they play in Europe), and complain when Santos ask the same for talents like Neymar and Ganso.

Also the Chygrynskiy is true, amazingingly silly purchase... It was even Guardiola himself that wanted the player so badly, and this was only one year after he spend 15M euro's on another defensive flop Martin Caceres. I've always liked Guardiola, but his transfers are horrible...

Well, IMO, we had a 60M € sponsorship in 4 years, mean 15M each year. This is 5M more than old one (10M ). We have had this sponsor since last year, they've just comfirmed us that 15M will be guarranted, which is normal & formal thing.

Barcelona & Real look like USA & Soviet Union in Cold War, trying their best to have better military force. The greed might lead them to nowhere.

Buldesliga is getting better, but they need time, people still think of only Bayern Munich.

That doesn't mean Serie A could take the Europe now, but their top teams surely have chance.

Milan managed to stay at the top of Europe during 5 seasons with almost the same team ... Why Barcelona and Man U couldn't do it too for example (2-3 years, not 5 years, it's because we've been full of champions that we managed to last so long) ?

Well was thinking more about Ibrahimovic, but come to think of it, it could happen at some point! Maybe that's B&G's grand plan, save money from our budget to invest in Messi, Iniesta, Pedro and Daniel Alves when the time is right!
