Boateng to Milan: There is a problem
Posted by Meytar Zeevi on Aug 10, 2010 | 2 Comments THE MOVE faces a small delay. Kevin-Prince Boateng seemed on his way to Milan (via a loan from Genoa) but according to Sky Sport 24, there is a problem, as Genoa’s Anthony Vanden Borre, who was included in the transfer to bring Boateng to Genoa has refused a move to Championship side Portsmouth F.C. However, this problem is solvable. It is believed now that Genoa will sign the World Cup star and then loan him to Milan with no option of redemption at the end of the season. The operation will cost Milan €2.5 million: €1 million will be paid on the loan and €1.5m on his wages. il Corriere dello Sport claimed earlier that Boateng could be an official Milan played by tomorrow. What a strange deal is this ![]()

Real got Carvalho, those Silva rumors are finished.
Funny that Barca or others could get Ozil for 20 million...

I sincerely hope you're wrong, Jay. Even though I might feared that you're very, very damn right. Boateng never impressed me, and he will only make our midfield more static.

Very very very nice to see all the speedy players playing for Brazil, if we only had Neymar or Robinho....Uhhh.....
Neymar, Pato, Robinho alot of speed ripping the US defence apart.

Then B & G will start saying he needs to balance the book and sell both T. Silva and Pato to Real and Chelsea respectively.

Brazil looked impressive. Fast, skillful, fun to watch. The young guns deserve praise for the way they enjoy themselves on the field and make football fun to watch. However, we can't take away from the fact that the USA was terrible. They gave Brazil way too much space to play.
Everyone had a great game for Brazil, and even Lucas (who has looked like a shadow of a player in England) was a beast in the middle. The player that impressed me the most though was Ganso. I know people are screaming for Neymar after that show of speed and skill by him, but for me Ganso is the brain of this team. What an intelligent player. Aware of his surroundings at all times. Never complicates things yet openes up the game with 1-2 touches on the ball. Great vision, great technique. Able to do the craziest things on the ball yet only does them whenver there is need for them. Reminds me of Zidane with the way he moves around the field, and with the way he plays.

. . . and very, very, expensive as well. Besides, as Allegri already pointed out, we're pretty much covered in defense.
Anyway we're linked to yet another youngster. An 18 y.o. Benfica midfielder named Danilo Pereira.
