I KNOW we have only 1 Non-EU Spot.. I'm assuming the other one is T. Silva....the point of my formation is to show the quality we need in the lineup...replace dzeko with ibra if you want..or drogba,, or someone else.. but Borriello is not cuttin it...

If that's the case then I'll take Honda... then sell Huntelaar and buy another EU Striker...

As far as Hitman thinking we're going to SPEND BIG next year,,,, I'd think again... We've had reasons to spend for years now and havn't.

We'll have no money to "spend big" just because kaladze and jankulovski come off our balance sheets.... We're not selling anyone therefore not buying anyone....

What the ****? You really have no idea what you're talking about, do you?

After getting KPB our midfield is set. Unless we sell Klaas, our attack is set. The only potential addition is a backup LB, but that's not a big priority. The fear is what to do when (yes, when) both Antonini and Zambro are injured. Maybe we can combine Kala and Jankulovski into one okay Frankenstein LB. If the procedure doesn't work at least they end up dead.

Non EU-spot is ONLY FOR SIGNING PLAYERS, not for the players WE ALREADY HAVE. How many times this should be told repeatedly here?

No he only got 12 in Serie A

Mate statistics are quite easy to dig up.

Borriello - 14 in 27games kind of mediocre
Pato - 12 in 20games still good but was injured half the time
Dinho - 12 in 33games but he had a whopping 14 assists topped Serie A

http://soccernet.espn.go.com/stats/t...r=2009&cc=3436

I liked Pato's position when he played for Brazil,he was playing CF made some pretty good runs behind their defence (albeit was only USA) he will get 20+ goals a season if he played that position, which is unlikely cos we got Borriello/Hunter who are both soooooo SLOW!!!

I'd go along with club policy though, our squad is HUGE! we should definitely sell before we buy.We already have Kaladze/Janku/Onyewu doing nothing. So Inzaghi/Hunter out and get 20+ goal season striker don't really care who it is.

Borriello is simply not good enough ! he should be playing in chievo verona. if maybe we had a super creative motivated midfield or fast crossing wingers yes maybe he could squeeze a few more goals out of this situation. but he simply misses too many chances, scores acrobatic goals but the simple tap-ins, no .also In the italy friendly i recently saw him in , his positioning was horrible.

i simply think he's not milan quality, if he has to be there then maybe 3rd backup or something. Honestly i am no fan but we should give huntelaar some chance.

I honestly don't rate him at all + i'm really put off by his attitude/personality which is akin to Felipe Melo whom i despise.

http://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/190520...nce-worse.html

He ruined a players international career and not only did he not apologize he blamed Ballack for reacting lol...

I know a **** when i see one and i'm afraid i would have to slot KPB in that category.

I would really rather see Merkel take that spot and gain experience,

Ballack slapped him and he wanted to pay it back. It is normal for young man to have this attittude (I'm not agree with his, but if Rino was him? For example).

And he apologised:

Quote:
A dangerous tackle by Boateng saw Ballack's dreams of lifting the World Cup as Germany captain shattered, something for which the Ghana international later apologised.
He was controlled by anger, for him, a slap right on his face is an insult, this is understandable.

He said:
Quote:
"There is my foul on the one hand and his slap on the other, and I think that violent conduct is far worse than a foul," he told Germany's Sport Bild magazine.

"Ballack really does surprise me. He complains for weeks when (Lukas) Podolski slaps him and yet he does it himself.

"He is no better than Podolski. What kind of behaviour is that?"
Ballack was slapped by his young teammate (when he was captain), then transfered his anger to another young guy. Oh man.

As an experienced, well-known and respected football veteran, Ballack should behave wiser.

The fact is: Germany don't need Ballack, when Ghana needs KPB - argurably their best player after Essien.

KPB is still young and has a strong character, but that doesn't mean he is not disciplined. He was very disciplined in a very disciplined Ghana squad, and he can continue in Milan.

And if he is, he will join the family.

Di Gennaro like the rest of the Milan youth never got a chance under Carlo or Leo. Hopefully that'll change with Allegri.

14 in 27 games is just more than 1 in 2 games. That's a very good total.

I don't think that Borriello & Huinter are slow. It's our mid that kills the potential pace of the team, and the ball hogs too. Borreillo does hog a bit, but only cause of lack of movement, ditto for R80, but sometimes he is waiting to create an opportunity for himself.

This team would be very good with a quick AM like Ganso or Honda whilst a player like VDV would require more movement from other players to be more successful.

What has that got anything to do with my point?
Gattuso is a strong character, this guy is a troublemaker.
He got kicked out of the German U21 team which is the reason he chose to represent Ghana.

In terms of ability,i won't get into the "who's better than who" game but fact is -
He is a Tottenham + B.Dortmund reject and was picked up by a now relegated Pompey. In the world cup i'd say he had 2 good games vs USA and Uruguay so not much to go on.

But being only 23 is the only positive thing i see in him, still has time to improve.

And it's only a loan so we'll see.

That the best part even Milan must pay more compared to what Genoa paid.

I hope, Milan and Cagliari already agreed about the sum that Milan have to pay if Milan want to buy the player next season so that Milan won't need to pay depends on his up-to-date price.

my two cents on KPB.

its simple, he is on loan so the risk is minimal.

If he ever planned to become smth in football now its his time to prove that. In Milan there was a never place for "bad-boys" due to profiles such as Maldini, Billy,Rinho,Kaka etc. And KPB knows that. IF he is able to understand this fact, in this 23 years old we can have a great squad player with potential to become a great player.(at least we agree that he offers smth that we have lacked in years)

If he fails to understand that Milan functions as a "family" (Janku and Kala will testify) and absolutely no one is more important than the "Societa" than he can pack his bags and back where he came from.

I would not call a 20-21 year old a reject. Its understandable that some players need time to develop in what is expected from them.
If Baloteli fails with City he may end up in Leeds, will that mean that at the time he was a Inter reject???

Sorry, I didn't say clearly. Bad day

My points are: This guy is young and a strong character. People focus on the fact he injured Ballack too much. A year loan is a low risk trial for him and he has the raw abilities to fulfil, even his discipline is good (proof with Ghana NT).
