Why are we assuming that Ibra will play best as the tip of the 3?

I really think that we would gain a lot more if Pato (Pippo) is the CF and Ibra would roam behind him, sort of in the way he did with Juve and Inter. We need to accept the fact that Pato is being wasted out on the right and his passing is ridiculously bad. So why force it?

----------Pato
Ronaldinho---Ibra

We'll see Ibra tonight on the right with Pippo ahead of him. I think it's going to be very different than before and Ibra will combine a lot more with R80 because he won't always have his back to the goal. The chaos Pippo creates up front will make sure defenders think twice about pressing Ronnie or Ibra. We'll see after the game, but I have a great feeling that it's much more effective having Ibra behind the CF.

its not about ibra playing his best..its about our offensive game in general, ibra may not score the goals he would but his style, dominating his man marking, can create space for pato's/binho's pace, and dinho of course..i think with ibra at top we 're more unpredictable and much more efficient on transition..

Ibra might be better as the CF if you look at him alone, that's true. But Ibra on the right and Pato up front is better, in my opinion, than the other way round. Of course it all depends on the movements and intensity, but at the end of the day, Pato has a many more things to do on the right wing that he doesn't really want to or can't really pull off. Ibra can do all that better than Pato.

433 doesn't work unless your wingers are willing to sacrifice and run their asses off. Our 'wingers' won't do that. So why are we playing a 433? Just to keep Ronaldinho in the team? That's okay if he wins games, but he can't win every game. We need to have two different teams and not play the 433 every time.

It's easy to say that tactics are just numbers and it depends on intensity and sacrifice and patience to win games, but forcing players to play out of position simply to accommodate Ronaldinho is tactical suicide. There were times against Catania where Seedorf and Pirlo were stepping on each other's toes. This never used to happen with Kaka because Seedorf would move left and Kaka was in the middle and everyone knew their movements. Now it seems we're all crowding around that left channel and nothing will ever get through that sea of legs.

I'm hoping that with Flamini and Boateng that Pirlo would be free to dictate play. Seedorf gives us a similar sort of midfield creativity but with the same downsides as Pirlo. I think having them both on the field makes one of them redundant. I hope Allegri sees this as well. We need two runners beside Pirlo, and Seedorf is not a runner.

-----------------ABBIATI/AMELIA-----------------------
Zambrotta----Nesta---T. Silva------Antonini--------
-------------Boateng--Pirlo--Flamini----------------

I WANT THIS lineup... Ibra to play slightly BEHIND PATO....

ENOUGH WITH RONALDINHO .. ENOUGH WITH 4-3-3... END THAT SH*T

Robinho preferably behind the 2 strikers and if not Seedof.. ROnaldinho comes on if we need another attacker.. but sell his ass in January...

End of story. This is how Milan will shine....

If we keep it up with Gattuso/Pirlo/Seedorf and 3 forwards...

We will finish 12th.....

My question is: Why do we always seem to need a couple of months every season to get in good physical condition and to get going? Aren't we supposed to train hard in pre-season to be in shape even from the start? We can't afford to lose a couple of months, by then everything could be lost.

Ibrahimovic does not flourish in a 4-3-3...

he needs a support striker.. not two wide static wingers crossing the ball....

FIX THIS SYSTEM.....
