I say: Get Tevez, sign Gallas, get the young Frenchman Gourcoff or whatever his name is, and say bye bye to Sheva, and thank him for enabling us to build a squad that can win the UCL next year, while Chelsea will win the EPL, but be knocked out by..u guessed it Milan in the round of 16.
(To continue with this prediction: Nesta will neutralise Sheva, while Gallas will score from a set piece, to add to Gilardino´s brace. The EPL champions will be humiliated, on an aggregate score of 6-0)
You must have some crazy crystal ball Warro ! Can you tell me the lottery numbers also :D

We will know Sheva' decision tomorrow... the truth is that we will remember him for 2 bad moments, both on the same day
May 25th, 2005 - Missed penalty kick in Istambul
May 25th, 2006 - Announces his decision to leave Milan, and join Chelsea...
Since when is 45% a slice ! It's pretty much half the freaking amount !!!! :haha:

I will give you 66%, please just make sure you are right everytime ... or
1 in 10 actually will do.
As much as I like Sheva, I believe at this point, he needs to go...
Why? because even if he stays, it will not be the same... he was trusted with the CAPTAINS armband, the same one Maldini was wearing... and just speaking about the idea of leaving, destroys a bond...
It's like when you love someone and that person cheats on you... you will still love the person, but you know you can never trust her again, not the same way, you will always remember...
So what?
Years ago, I remember him saying Milan wouldn't be his last club. There were other reports of him wanting to join Bayern way back.
I don't believe these constant rumours being put about by second rate websites. If Sheva's departure was so certain, it would have happened by now. I'm still cautiously hopeful.
And BTW, did the Liverpool fans take long to forgive Gerrard after what he did last summer?

Missed penalty? He should not have TAKEN that penalty since I saw he was mentally broken after that 118th minute double-save by Didek (Dudek?) the polish keeper.
i copy-pasted it form goal com forum, went there to see some news.
Carlo said Eto'o isnt that good and Drogba would suit us more....well, he just keeps going on with brilliant remarks that coach of ours... :)
Drogba cant play as deep and wide as sheva did + sheva scored numerous goals, he was a beast. Only solution is Ibrahimović, he is better than Drogba, Tevez....
im going to sleep now. fingers crossed for tommorow....

And Ibrahimovic is little better. Perhaps the most overrated player around.

Pwoplwz, whad do you think about Cassano?
For the love of all that's holy in this life...just go already. The wife wants to go, Satan's little helpers over at the Bridge have put thoughts into her head and it looks like her mind is set...so just go. No ceremonies, no testimonials, no questions asked, no horsecrap "I-need-to-learn-English" explanations, just take your stuff and leave, ok? :5horse: You've already screwed us over by saying publicly you want to go, so like we say here in the States: "Sh!t or get off the pot". Put your money where your mouth is buddy. Buh-bye and don't let the door hit you on the ass on the way out!
And for all you ladies out there, we love you. We can't live without you. You look good, you smell good, and on our lucky days when you let us taste you...:1d31: . All I ask is can you for the love of all that's holy, stay out of our primary means of attaining legal tender, especially in places where you, like your significant other, can find the absolute best opportunities to elevate yourself in your chosen profession!
Here's what the Times of London is saying in Thursday's edition:
Shevchenko surrenders to charms of Chelsea
By Matt Hughes
CHELSEA are confident that Andriy Shevchenko will today confirm his intention to leave AC Milan, paving the way for a £35 million move to Stamford Bridge. The Ukraine striker returned to Italy last night for talks with Adriano Galliani, Milan’s vice-president, and an announcement is expected this afternoon.
Milan, after initially refusing his request for a new contract, have offered Shevchenko a two-year extension that would keep him at the club on wages of £115,000 a week until 2011, telling him to sign it or leave this summer. The Serie A club are aware that the player’s transfer value will drop significantly after his 30th birthday in September and are preparing to accept Chelsea’s offer while it remains on the table.
*
[offer]
Having failed on three previous occasions, Chelsea believe they are close to signing the man Roman Abramovich has been pursuing since he bought the club three years ago. The Russian billionaire has spoken to Shevchenko on several occasions over the past few weeks and Peter Kenyon, the chief executive, visited him in Milan for formal talks. It is understood that Chelsea are prepared to offer the forward a £130,000-a-week contract over four years, making him the highest-paid player at the club.
Shevchenko has warmed to the idea of joining Chelsea. The 29-year-old has always laughed off suggestions of a move to the English champions, using their interest two years ago to negotiate a pay rise at Milan, but his mood is different this year. His demand for a new contract at the San Siro, as revealed in The Times three weeks ago, was seen as an attempt to force the club to sell him and he went even farther the next week, disclosing for the first time that he was thinking of leaving.
Milan, having failed to win Serie A or the Champions League for the past two seasons, also find themselves at a crossroads this summer and, though they would prefer to keep him, recognise the benefits a £35 million cash injection could bring to an ageing squad.
Although Shevchenko insists that his mind is not made up, Milan fear that he will leave, with many blaming his wife, Kristen Pazik, the American model, for his wish to move to Stamford Bridge. Pazik is a friend of Irina Abramovich, the wife of the Chelsea owner, and spent a weekend before Christmas shopping with her in London, leading to the assumption that she is seeking a permanent move to England.
“Shevchenko wants to leave but we will try to do everything we can to keep him and to convince his wife to stay,” Silvio Berlusconi, Milan’s president, said yesterday.
“I hope Sheva stays but perhaps more than him, it’s his wife that needs convincing,” Gennaro Gattuso, Milan’s Italy midfield player, added.
Milan are lining up potential replacements, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic and David Trezeguet obvious targets given the turmoil at Juventus, but the fans have not given up hope. Petitions have been launched in an attempt to keep him at the club, with one, “Please don’t leave us Sheva” boasting 10,000 signatures. A statement on another fans’ website (shevastaywithus.com) reads: “We are waiting for you after the World Cup, still in an AC Milan shirt, to continue the dream.”
Chelsea appear also to be stepping up their interest in Roberto Carlos, the Real Madrid and Brazil left back, who said yesterday that he has been offered a three-year contract by the London club. The 33-year-old has one year left on his contract with Real. “Chelsea have made a good offer and are offering three years of contract instead of one year more with Real Madrid,” he said. “I hope to get a reply from Real Madrid to re-negotiate my contract, if not I’m going to look for somewhere else.”
Chelsea, however, are also struggling to keep some of their key players, with Didier Drogba joining William Gallas in demanding a transfer.
Well there you go. See ya $heva. Enjoy London and remember, it's "i" before "e" except after "c".
On Cassano, he's definitely a risk. If he does come here and it works out he could be instrumental in bringing in some trophies. I don't know, though. The intangibles right now seem to outweigh his talents. Maybe a structured regimen at Milan will change him. I don't know. Great name to put out there and discuss. What do you armchair transfer gurus think?

Well there you go. See ya $heva. Enjoy London and remember, it's "i" before "e" except after "c".
What do you mean about i, e and c?
And do you think one should trust London Times? I hope there is a slim chance left though, very slim.
I will wait until later tonight our time to see what is up with Shevchnko,
I think he will regret the move, because he is forced into one by his wife.
If he feels himself that English is really so important for his communication with the kid etc., he should go, somehow I think it is not his perception.
He would learn it by now, if it was his belief abut importance of the language.
I also do not buy Sheva's argument about lack on time for English studies, I think he did not care about it until it is late in the game. His kid starts to talk now...He procrastinated basically, shoulda/woulda/coulda.
Poor thing, I hope he does better in Chelskis. So ... is Ballack already signed there?
Zlatanov, what do you say? procrastinator? b..chy wife?
What time is the press conference, guys?

Zlatanov, what do you say? procrastinator? b..chy wife?

I don't think he is procrastinator who's just enjoying the attention or anything like that. I don't think he's doing it for money and/or fame cause going to Chelski is a step in the wrong direction. Most probably it's because it's a tough decision to make - torn between Milan and family. Actually, I think the more time it takes him to make that decision, it means the more dear Milan's to him.
About the wife, don't know her so I can't say if she's bichy or not - if she is, she won't be first not last - but can understand if she wants her son to grow up in an English speaking society. And if those rumours about some threats she's got, threats from Milan fans, then I guess it makes his/their choice even easier.
I personally don't blame Sheva for anything. For me he is doing what every family man with his head in place would and should do. He may be a under a slipper but aren't most men, after all, especially when there's a kid in the picture.

i e and c --- when spelling i is always before e except after c --- I guess :- )
example -- beL IE ve
example -- there isn't an example of C followed by a ceisure : -))
What do you mean about i, e and c?
And do you think one should trust London Times?
The "i before e except after c" thing is just a rule for spelling in English that they teach kids. As for the Times, they are a real newspaper so I would tend to trust them more than I would trust the tabloids (Sun, Mirror, etc.).
zlatanov I agree with you I can't completely blame Sheva for all this. I just wish his wife was a lot smarter when it comes to choosing her friends.

Only when the "i" and "e" are together in a word. Examples: believe, relieve, niece...
However, when "ie" immediately follows "c", they change places, like: receive, deceive...
Anyway...Cassano. I actually like him. Remember that goal vs. Inter when he wore the Bari uniform?

More English lessons as we wait for the axe to fall...
With a heavy veil of corruption pressing down on them, Juventus and their heist of the Scudetto may be forfeited to their feisty Northern neighbors Milan, ending an arrogant reign over the Serie A.
As you can see, there are some exceptions to the rule. Hopefully he and his son can pick those up quickly. But he's off to a good start. To our American fans out there, did you catch that ESPN commercial when he said to the anchor, "I'll suggest it"? Pretty good pronounciation I must say. The accent was a bit heavy, but I could immediately understand, as opposed to some British accents out there.

where do you go to hear the good news??
news is available on google so just keep searching for news related to shevchenko
the good news can be both
1. He stays with us which is obviously a good news.
2. Else he goes to chelski and ends 2 weeks full of anxiety among fans. I see the second option more favourable for us because if he joins chelski we will have a new rivalry which will push us farther in the UCL. Then we will be getting gallas + good amount of cash. Sheva has already done the harm to his image with that revelation so it will be better for him and Milan if he leaves. We will always progress no matter how many sheva-like players we have in our squad.
Now, I beleive the squad will be more compact as there will be only one leader i.e. Maldini. With those seven years with us Sheva developed as a leader and started having his own opinion which were clashing with the views of ancelotti on alot of occasions. Everything happens for the good!
If Sheva declared "considering" of going to Chelski, his mind and heart is already there and he is DONE. Let him go and we have unique opportunity to rebuild our squad.
There is some techincal advantage with Sheva leaving. Under Berlusconi Carlo will always play 4-4-2 and Sheva is the one that can partner either Tomason, Crespo, Inzaghi and Gila. Without Sheva Carlo will have go back to 4-5-1 which I believe is much better to cope with big teams in UCL.

Sheva doesn't deserve to be Milan's future captain..after the Golden Ball he started to act like a primadonna, he made all that drama while he was bearing our Captain belt...if Maldini was on the pitch, he would have never dared to do that..i mean, wft? throwing our belt like toilet paper just for a substitution...?
I tell you that i couldn't care the less, if the Russian moneys ring , let him go..He will never be what he's been in Milan..he will just be another mercenary at the service of the most convenient part.
All this story about his wife is ridiculous..i mean, your wife choose about your career? Can't she wait 3-4 years more until you have finished your career? It's a blatant excuse and i 'm terribly disappointed
He's no more the humble Sheva of 3-4 years ago..success focked up his mind
This post explains it well

i hope sheva leaves, his attitude changed in the past 2 years from humble and hardworking to arrogant and a bit lazy.

All you anti sheva fan can just shut up and for a second, do you really know what the heck you are talking about.
Even if Sheva is leaving, he deserves our respect and love. He had won everything there is to win for Milan. We all should be thankful that he stuck with us even when we did not qualify for CL.
Maybe he wants the money or family to be a better place or whatever, he has the right to do so, since we do not own him. Yes, I will be upset and disappoint if he chooses to leave, but what can I do about it? It is up to him to leave.
Then you can say that, he should not have lied to us about wanting to stay in Milan till he retires.... well how do you know for sure that at that time when he made the statement, he really did wanted to stay in Milan but things happened and he changed his mind. You can say it is money but guess what, we don't own him, remember.
The other thing is that, I hate the fact that some of you is saying he thinks too highly of himself, he is no longer humble and that he has been acting like this since he won the Golden Ball.... well, I did not see any of you say these things when he scored those goals against Lyon. So just shut up, and respect Sheva's decision.
One more thing, if Sheva stays, it makes me wonder how all of you would react
Funny, I don't recall Fiorentina fans being harsh on Batistuta despite him appearing ready to leave every summer only to have a change of heart. They even built a bloody statue of him

We have won CL and Scudetto's in the past without Sheeva, so don't worry folks, when Sheeva leaves, we will still win titles.
Agree, he's a great one, but he will be replaced I'm for sure. He deserves lots of respect and if he wants to move, we have to respect his decision. Keeping an unhappy superstar is not worth it.
The most important thing are the colors of the team, not who's in it! I believe Milan will also do great without Shevchenko.

Whether the move will be justified or not, however, remains to be seen in the future.
that's the thing, when it comes to family, you don't really care whether your new job will bring you more satisfaction/titles or less of those. If he goes to Chelski with family in mind, no matter what happens after that - I mean no matter how many titles he wins or doesn't win - the move would always be a justified one because it was done for the sake of his family and not football success.
At least that's how I see it.
Im sure his wife could wait another 3 years in Milano before going to London. Sheva and his kid can easely learn english in Italy. His statemants about language problems are stupid, i dont buy it.

Very true!
"Solo per la maglia," as they say in Italy. But I will be upset if he chooses to leave, just because I think he'll be stabbing the club in the back by doing so. He could have announced it a lot earlier at least, to give the club more time to find an adequate replacement.

Have you considered that the team will be weakened and that every team we'll ask for striker will rip us off, knowing we need desperately a substitute for Shevchenko?
Have you considered that a Milan captain can't act like a crybaby everytime that gets substituted (once in 15 matches)?
If Sheva stays it won't be the same as before..just the will to leave is enough to have less respect for a player that a few time ago said "I want to be like Baresi and Maldini and finish my career here"..
Now he leaves cause his wife is sick of Milan..please, pack him and send him to Abramovich for 70 mill..i want players that feel proud to wear the jersey of Van Basten and Nordahl..that give everything on the pitch...look at Eto'o, how much he runs for the team and how strongly he fights for the team..Sheva lacks this determination since a bit of time. Time for him to go.
In life, i'm not used to get too much nostalgic for anything; you post, mate, is full of sugar and good emotions, but the reality is harsh and if we don't stay real we're lost. It's like this in everyday's life, and we can't stop one single second. That's my view of the world, and how things go.

CARNAGO (Varese), 25 May 2006 - "I cannot still say nothing, before I must speak with Galliani". The only one struck granted from Andryi Shevchenko is to the reporters who attended it outside from Milanello. The ucraino it has left the rossonero sport center around the 15 without saying, therefore, if it will remain to the Milan or it will go instead to the Chelsea. "I will not look at myself today with Galliani. Perhaps tomorrow, even in evening ". Expeditious, of little words, Andriy Shevchenko today to Milanello has sent back to one new nose-dive the possible conclusion of the calcionovela that it sees protagonists he and the rossonero club, with the Chelsea di Abramovich on the background. Today it would have had to be the day of the decisive encounter, but the same player, to its I re-enter from Kiev, has made to know that all it is sent back tomorrow. In Shevchenko morning it had arrived to Milanello in order to continue the cures after the accident to the left leg and them it is remained for approximately three hours. It seems that the forward in truth has already decided to move itself in England, but Milan and Chelsea have not still caught up an economic agreement. There would be then of means also a letter, than the society of via Turati it would have asked Shevchenko to write. Rising of goodbye to publish then on the situated one of the Milan in which Sheva it would have to explain to the tifosi that are he to wanting to go via.

I would be a little sad but welcome the fact Sheva leaving, now is time to rebuild a new team. If there is a mass turnover in the squad we may play poor games for a season or two but we have a hope that we can win CL and Series A. The current team: No tittle, no trophy for already 2 years.

personally i won't wait...even if he stays he won't be in the same place as before
I understand a player that wants to come back home like Stam or Rui , or Rijkaard. Gullit had clear problems with the coaches. But Sheva, what does bother him?
The english language? I mean, wft? Are we Milan fans utterly stupid or something?
Moneys, moneys , ringing moneys, the moneys have a nice scent, and even some of the best men have been changed by the colour of moneys
What hurts the most is it's now obvious that he already had his mind made up before his vacation. This whole past week saying he'll mull this over was just balderdash and poppycock. Buh-bye Sheva. Thanks for everything, my man.

Sheva doesn't deserve to be Milan's future captain..after the Golden Ball he started to act like a primadonna, he made all that drama while he was bearing our Captain belt...if Maldini was on the pitch, he would have never dared to do that..i mean, wft? throwing our belt like toilet paper just for a substitution...?
...
All this story about his wife is ridiculous..i mean, your wife choose about your career? Can't she wait 3-4 years more until you have finished your career? It's a blatant excuse and i 'm terribly disappointed
He's no more the humble Sheva of 3-4 years ago..success focked up his mind
1. someone explain to you, Andrey threw the band in the heat of the moment when he was hurt in the hard-FOUGHT bone-breaking serie-A right before his first (and maybe last) and so-long-waited WC (check out dude how many times Ukraine came close to a major WC or Euro cup since 98)
2. The story is not only about his wife. He has a kid, the family. His kid starts to speak English...
3. Yes, success corrupts ppls minds. you could tell that looking at his behavior after Dudek blocked those shots in the final mins of the final 1 year ago exactly. Andrey seemed to care little - or "you make some , you miss some" - somthing like that he said.

Poor Baby, not only he has whatever he wants, toys, he lives in a supervilla on Como Lake and whatever, but he must speak English as well, while strangely Papà earns 10 mill per season.. In Italy sons grow up with kick in the arses and we grow up well. "Mazz'epanell fann'e figl bell" they say in Napoli (more or less "Bread and kicks in the arse make children good" )

let's move on. MOVE ALONG
We need to rebuild our team, yes, but it will not happen with Carlo. Drogba certanly isnt the solution for Sheva's departure. Ibrahimović, Adriano, Tevez, even Cassano are ok. Drogba is in-box striker, and we dont need that.
Look at Carlos wish - EMERSON. he is quality player, biut he is OLD. We can buy Diarra, Mascherano, De Rossi, players with great future and great quality, but Carlo wants Emerson. That sucks.

Indeed, this delay is grating on the nerves....but I am almost in Gio´s position...I was a Milan fan before Sheva, and I was sad, but understood when Weah left, I was elated when Beirhoff left, and Rui´s departure (thoroughly justified) hurts more than anything...so Sheva´s departure for me, is an opportunity to refresh the team, and win some titles.
It does however hurt to see my favourite player "wanting away"...and with the salary he is earning, even before the increases, could have afforded him the luxury of employing English butlers, Nannies, diaper changers, and personal tutors for him and his fam.
His wife for me, should face the ire of the Milan fans, who have showed Sheva nothing but love for his entire tenure..even the penalty miss in Istanbul was forgiven...so if she gets some stick, she is lucky! She deserves much worse, but hey, she is American, and American women feel that they must run the marriage...trust me, I married one, and I speak from personal experience.
So, regardless of his excuse, he wants to leave Milan, a club that was prepared to make him a legend...but he has chosen to:
a)placate his wife
b)earn 28K pounds more per week
c)get the **** kicked out of him by some slow, stupid, English defenders.
d)watch Milan lift next years UCL title, from Abramovich´s couch.
Farewell Sheva!!!

We can get these players? How do you know this? Why should we get them over Emerson? We only need Emerson for a year...then we can see how well Ambrosini develops with Emerson as his tutor..why spend big bucks on an unproven player, when we can get a quality, proven entity on the cheap?
When was the last time you dipped into your bank account to pay for a player? Lighten up guys...cuss and bemoan the purchases after they fail to perform, not before (unless its Vieri we are talking about:D )
You guys sound like I did when Zaccerpho...I mean Zacceroni was coach..do you guys even know he coached us to a scudetto? I really despised this coach, and never had a good word to say about him, even when he brought home the title.
Carlo is the man mandated by the club to take us into next season. End of story. Complain all you want, but that is the case...no prob with your complaints, after all, I dont have to read them..but they do become a trifle monotonous...and I dont recall hearing all these Anti-Ancelotti protests when we were winning the scudetto, or the UCL..oh sorry..I forget, you probably were supporting Juve then..(psyche..just kidding...really:D)
The point is, much belaboured, but still a point: Carlo, for the first time in recent memory, has asked for a player. Good for him...now he has given Management, and importantly, publicly, an indication of the type of player he needs/wants.
Lets see how the rest of the silly season unfolds before we crucify Galliani, Berlu, Braida and Ancelotti...its early days yet... :diablo:

No matter how much you may love Sheva, it remains to be seen what the squad would look like without him. And it may be an opportunity to improve by selling him at the top of his form rather than hanging onto him until he is too old to perform at such a high level. So I think everyone just needs to calm down and see how this all plays out. Sheva did not make Milan great. He became a part of greatness when he came to Milan. You said you wanted solid reasons and immidiately give some B/S, like most people would "... blah, blah, dreams, ... finish". Try to be consistent: is that a solid reason? It is not a reason at all, it is simply PR which happened to be true "story at Milan". It is not a reason at all, it is merely aknowledging the people and the organization and the fans, stating simple facts. The reason? The reason, do you really need to know the reason? You, one of greatest fans of the team, have already said enough to show that you will accept no reason. Why would he tell you more? All you need to hear is a PR.

So you think that we can go eternally with short-term solutions, year after year picking old players without really renewing and strenghtning the squad? No I dont, but for every Kaka that we aquire young, and relatively untested, there are at least 10 failures.
It is important that we "freshen" up the squad with younger players, but not at the expense of a poor season because they are taking time to adapt.
The pressure is on Milan, and other big Italian clubs, to be competitive year in, year out. Juve bought Viera, a player already on the decline, but with Emerson beside him, they romped home to a scudetto. Can we learn anything from this? The Viera transfer was the best value for money for the entire silly season...and he is how old now?
Do you are obsessed with that 'proven players' fetish, alright? Well, De Rossi is also a 'proved' Serie A footballer, and he's a whole to better and younger than Emerson... so why a football giant like us will choose the lesser option? De Rossi is better than Emerson? :dontkn: I dont know about that..that is very subjective, and not easily proven...who does he play for? Roma? Where did they place in the league? Again, this last statement (by me) is just semantics, as there are too many probables, too many unknowns, too many actions that result in a player being on a team that wins the title..but there is no better evidence than success...or is there?
The point I am making here GRE-NO-LI, is that while we should target youth, and with this I agree wholeheartedly, we need to achieve a certain balance between experience, and youth..much easier said than done, but with the other additions mentioned here, we may be able to achieve that.(ie Gallas, Tevez, Mascherano)
We can make short term investments in experienced players, and longer term investments in players like Gila and Kaka, who IMO represent the core around which the team should be constructed.
It will take time, but I run the risk of getting too far off topic...so I will end this here...

I was obviously talking about the midfield, it looks like Drogba will be our striker for the next season. And I agree with GRENOLI, De Rossi is better solution than Emerson. He is youngerm italian, and move more and has more pace in him. It doesnt matter if he plays with Roma and roma is 5th and Juve 1st. De Rossi is 2nd best solution in the DM. after Diarra.

Warro Bantan:
In fact, you've said the magic word: BALANCE. I guess that is really the ultimate goal, the great key to success. But let's think about it: are we a balanced squad nowadays? Let's have a look to our current starters (for the sake of my argument I'm still including already departed players like Stam):
Dida
Cafu / Nesta / Stam / Serginho
Gattuso / Pirlo / Seedorf / Kaká
Shevchenko / Inzaghi
So we have 5 players with more than 30 years old (Dida, Cafu, Stam, Serginho and Inzaghi; 3 with 30 years (Nesta, Seedorf and Shevchenko); and only 3 playes with less than 30 years old (Kaká, Gattuso and Pirlo). Do you really think that squad can be labelled a 'balanced' one? Look at the average's age of the retaguardad... do you think we can call it a 'balanced' retaguard?
I hate Chelski and hate chelski players, but to be fair Drogba is better for our us than Trez, Teves, Crespo because he can bring in our squad a different quality (his physical presense, long ball skill...) to combine with Gila, Inzaghi's box skills. Any way this is not a direct replacement for Sheva. No available replacement at all.
I do not understand why everyone is crying loud about replacement for Sheva, if we can get another Sheva it is fine but if not we can just change our game plan to 4-5-1 which fits Carlo's bill very well. Look at Juve, do they have Sheva ? yet they won 2 consecutive Scudettos, look at Porto, Liverpool, Baca do they have Sheva? yet they won the last 3 CLs. Sheva way of playing is very good but not the only way we can and if not, try something else.
We have to concede that Shevchenko is very much London bound....the family is the real reason and we have to respect imho....keep fingered crossed though...
But anyway....if Chelsea willing to splash above 40 mil euro, i guess we should go for adriano, i hope inter would be foolish enough to accept our 20 mil euro offer... ;)

ANDRIY SHEVCHENKO is poised to snub Chelsea and commit the rest of his career to AC Milan.
The Italian giants are convinced they have persuaded their superstar striker to reject a £35million move to Stamford Bridge.
And they are confident Shevchenko, 29, will confirm he is staying at the San Siro when he announces his decision this afternoon.
The Ukrainian will hold further talks with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani today after flying back from his home in Kiev on Wednesday.
Chelsea offered Shevchenko a massive £140,000-a-week deal but he feels a huge loyalty to AC Milan after seven years at the club.

Well rahul, if this article is indeed the truth, my reaction is ok, cool enough, Sheva is staying. Good news for us fans...so everyone, you can breathe now.
But I will never look at him the same way ever again. I wish I could jump for joy and just go nuts, but I wonder will we have to go through all this again next season and the next? What evil plan will Chelski do next time and try to get him to wear the blue shirt? Kidnap his son?
If indeed he refused to placate his wife's pleas, all I can say is wow...just take a look downstairs every so often to see if the family jewels are still there.
It's the Sun for god's sake.....

Guys when will we know his final decision? Is it this afternoon or this evening? Sheva just get it ova and done with and just ****ing let us know wat ur gonna do, exuse my language im getting frustrated here, if u wanna go just say so and leave, thanx 4 everything. There is little hope he will stay, but hopefully he does.
conflicting reports in todays uk press.
AC Milan have asked striker Andriy Shevchenko to write an open letter to the fans in an attempt to pressure him into staying at the club. (The Times)
Shevchenko is on his way to Chelsea, but the details of the deal - which could see William Gallas move to the San Siro - are still being ironed out. (Daily Star, Daily Mail)
Actually, Shevchenko is staying in Italy with Milan. (The Sun)

I started to watch Milan and other teams before you were born.
You are obviously not mature enough yet to talk about family stuff.
Whatever.
Shevchenko has always had many proves of how much Milan fans love him, people was crying in Curva Sud. I tell you that i don't need to have experienced marriage to have my say. He never said deeply and convinced "I will finish my career at Milan".. He always said: " we'll see, things in football can change"..
MOre: i'm convinced he and Abramovich are planning this since a couple of years..they met in a central Milan hotel two seasons ago and Sheva said they met by chance..i mean, he's a nasty liar..
The way he acted this year is awful, he was bearing our captain belt, something few people is given the chance to do..I feel offended cause he wanted to leave WAY BEFORE the moment he told the media, and he's leaving now in huge troubles to find a proper replacement..
If he loved that much our team, he would have let us know way before, in order to let us finding a proper replacement.
I won't comment on the other personal comments, just tell you that you don't need to have lived with Napoleon to talk about his life..therefore i don't need to get marriad to talk about Sheva's choices.
You're right, i don't want to understand, i'm blind. Why should i understand? All the cards are on the table, if you want to preserve your consideration of Shevchenko, you're welcome, but in my book his behaviour is and hasn't been fair.

I agree with most of ur post Giovanni but he has been a great servant to our club and we gotta thank him 4 everyting he has done during the wonderful 7 yrs his been with us, but i personally believe that family comes ahead of anything and the only reason he is leaving is bcz his bitchy wife wants to leave to london, so u cant say he doesnt like milan, he does but Family always come first.

That's pretty much how I feel about Sheva and Rui Costa.
Galliani is doing the right thing right now, he is asking Sheva to write a letter in which he claims he wants to quit Milan. That way he is responsible for his actions in the eyes of Milan fans. If Shevchenko has decided to quit the best suporters in the world, milghty Milan, captain position in Milan, chance to become the best goalscorer in Milans history and to become a true legend like Van Basten - THAN GO TO YOUR RUSSIAN MAFIA FIREND! Who ever doesnt want to play for Milan - CAN GO!
I just hope Galliani can use the money well and not to buy Emerson, Crespo and so on.....

Honestly, to those that say Sheva did not inform the management he wants to leave way before, where r ur source?
Secondly, to all of you that say Sheva did not deserve the Captain armband this and that, well, how come none of you said anything until now?
Thirdly, to all those reports about how SHeva must write a letter and state he wants to leave to show the fans that it is him not the Milan management, well, no offence and all, but the person who came up with this is very very stupid and childish.
As for replacements, well, for starters there are only a handful players in the world that could truly replace Sheva and none of their clubs will want to let them go. So even if Sheva told the management last season that he is leaving this year, I doubt Milan can land a replacement with a cheap or reasonable price. In short, Sheva's replacement will cost Milan a tons of money regardless of when Sheva made the decision. One more thing, if Milan was after Henry or Ronaldino last season....I doubt Arsenal and Barcelona won't jack up the price b/c Milan already have SHeva.
Personally, I hope Sheva stays, but if he is to leave, Berlu better make sure Chelsea break the World Transfer fee record by a mile to get Sheva. Since if Henry is reportedly got 50M offer, Sheva should get 60M.
I would not be upset if Sheva leaves, since Milan will get tons of money to get new players. How does a Gallas, Diarra, Zambrotta, Adraino and De Rossi sounds?
I would only be upset if Milan let Sheva goes for 35M plus Gallas.
I love Gallas and all, but he is max a 7M transfer fee defender and not like Milan will die if Gallas does not wear the Red and Black.

All the newspapers reported what Adriano Galliani had to say about the meeting with Andriy Shevchenko: 'We spoke and Sheva wanted to meet this evening [Thursday] but I said I was going to a basketball game. I invited him but there is no rush, no ultimatum. I am still hopeful but it is difficult to know what the outcome will be.'
Il Giornale gave over space to what Andriy had to say: 'Why would I evade the fans? I have been very touched by their letters.'
La Gazzetta dello Sport reported Andrea Pirlo's thoughts on Shevchenko: 'He spoke to the team and said he got on well with us and Ancelotti, it was a family problem. I hope he resolves it and I am still confident.
This basicly means that were waiting for another day?
I would not be upset if Sheva leaves, since Milan will get tons of money to get new players. How does a Gallas, Diarra, Zambrotta, Adraino and De Rossi sounds?
I.
What?? that would cost us a 1000 000 000 Euros. Aldough we can land Gallas for just 5 mil, Adriano, Zambrotta, De Rossi and Diarra sre EXTREMLY expencive players. we can get maybe 45 mil and gallas for Sheva, and that would hardly be enough for Adriano. We sold Stam and Rui costa so with some extra money we can go for De Rossi maybe.
Ok and can some one translate this ? :d33:

from acmilan.com
MILAN, Italy (AP) -Andriy Shevchenko met with AC Milan chairman Adriano Galliani on Friday to discuss his future, the ANSA news agency reported.
The Ukraine striker is reportedly considering a move to English champion Chelsea, but Milan has offered him a contract extension till 2011.
"I hope Shevchenko stays, I spoke with (Milan owner Silvio) Berlusconi about the matter this morning,'' Galliani was quoted as saying on Milan's Web site. "Who will win? It's not a soccer game or a question of who wins and who loses. It's about understanding what he wants to do.''
Shevchenko has scored 173 goals for Milan - the second most in its history behind Gunnar Nordahl's 221 - since joining the club in 1999.
In 2003, Shevchenko's penalty kick won Milan the Champions League in a shootout against Juventus. A year later, he led Milan to the Italian league title and won the Golden Ball as the best player in Europe.

Honestly, Adriano is about 35M, Zambrotta is about 10M, Diarra is about 20M and Gallas is about 5M. So Chelsea should pay Milan 70M for Sheva.
Actually, come to think of it, I think Kuyt would be a much better choice for Milan than Adraino

Thats pointless, using Stam to make an argument. We're not talking about last year, we're talking about the future.
Kaladze will play CB (or Maldini if he's ready and able), so you should put their names down.
My only reply to the "average age" argument is that its only a number. Serginho last season was brilliant and earned his spot, just as Cafu previously earned the RB spot and remained one if not the best RB in football after joining us. Maldini is the same, other than last season, in the last 4 years he has been one of the best CB in the world (possibly the best with only Nesta or Terry really challenging him).

Club chairman Adriano Galliani announced Friday that a "painful separation'' had been agreed on, the ANSA news agency reported.
Here is the article
MILAN: RIPRESO INCONTRO GALLIANI-SHEVCHENKO

Here it is off soccernet.com:
Shevchenko will leave Milan - but at a price
AC Milan have accepted Andriy Shevchenko's transfer request but have warned Chelsea they must break the bank to land the Ukraine striker.
Shevchenko, 29, appeared alongside the Italian club's vice-president Adriano Galliani at their offices in Via Turati in downtown Milan at a hastily arranged press conference to announce his decision this afternoon.
Shevchenko said: 'I am leaving for family reasons - I want to thank the club for everything it's given to me.
'There's no problems regarding my relationship with anyone in the club or any financial problems.'
Galliani, in day-to-day control of the club owned by former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi, said: 'It's a victory of the English language over the Italian language.'
That was apparently a reference to Shevchenko's American wife who reportedly wants a move to England.
'I've tried to convince him to stay - even one minute prior to the press conference,' continued Galliani.
'This is certainly the most painful divorce since I have been at Milan and from now on we will begin negotiations with Chelsea and it will not be easy.'

It's not much of a surprise, i think he had his mind made up a long time ago. I just wish the whole thing had been a bit more dignified and with that the Milan fans at the San Siro could have given him the send off he deserved. Instead now, he just walks away from us without much of a celebration of his services at all. The way things have turned out leaves a bitter after taste to be honest.
Still, what we need now is to bleed every bit of money out of whoever buys him. Naturally Chelsea will be favourites, but lets not forget that both Barca and Real Madrid offered £50 million for Henry, so they could have some say in what happens no matter how small.
£35 million + Gallas & Robben ?? :D

He should be a world record transfer. Bottom line.
Kristen Shevchenko: (if you even took your husbands last name, do not visit Jamaica...or if you do, ensure that you come very incognito, as you will not leave this country physically intact. Believe this.
You have deprived millions of fans of the simple joy of watching one of our beloved players wearing the shirt he almost became a legend in.
You are selfish, arrogant, and I can honestly say, that I hate every cell in your body.
Sheva: Thanks for the memories, and the silverware you helped us to achieve. I hope you break your leg in the first game of the world cup.
Bad post I know, but this is how I feel.

Stole my words. Even with him leaving, the farewell could have been a special one, instead its like he is leaving us through the back door.
Anyway, hope we can bleed Chelski for him. Negotiations won't be easy as they will try to pin us to the wall now that the player is decided to leave and we will have to sell him. Barca and Real could have played a major role in raising his price but since they are both Spanish teams, they are not really an option given the circumstances.
Still, 35 mil BP + Gallas and Robben should be the bare minimum for us. I personally would go for maybe Tevez + Mascherano + Gallas + Alex +10-20 mil EU. Robben is a great young player but he seems to have a chronic back injury which seems to have left the doctors at a loss, at least that's what I remeber reading.
Good luck Sheva, thanks for the memos but Milan is Milan.
And you call yourself a Milan Ultra? You're not worth it :5milan:
watch out, franco's response is going to be good :D
And you call yourself a Milan Ultra? You're not worth it :5milan:
shut up.... if you're happy being threated like this then have fun. I AM NOT. In my team i just want players that live their team more than anything else and not leaving just for a stupid language.
If the language reason is good for you then fine.
Finally, the agony is over. Now we can all move on. Let's hope galliani signs someone capable like Adriano or Tevez

Anyway Galliani is going to make Chelski pay a boat load for him and they will do so . . I expect nothing less then a record transfer, and I think youwill see that happen.

Now that he wants to leave, we dont have much leverage. All I ask is for Galliani to ask for Tevez and Mascherano, since they are property of Chelsea (even if we dont want to admit it).
Also Gallas.

It has to be a world record signing. I'd rather they give us the cash only. We don't need their players.

I thank Sheva with my heart for the memories, the contribution, and the success that he brought to Milan.
Now it is painful to see him go but we have to get used to it and we have to swallow the pain of not having him.
His departure will give us a huge lift on the bringing Gallas+Crcpo/Drogba+the money...to buy more players.

true. If we sign Sheva for a record sum of cash, other clubs will blow up the price of the players we will try to sign afterwords. The only interesting big-named players we won't be able to get via the Sheva deal are some Juve players, Adriano, and Diarra - with Sheva we could get our hands on some very, very appetizing players.

people have got to be realistic and not just quote ramdom names to replace him, we need someone that will fill the gap that he has left... The best deal for us would be alot of cash plus Gallas... We can use cash to buy who we want, and not getting sucked into having Crespo or Drogba.... We should aim to get a player who is arround 24, not at the end of there career....
The whole situation is a complete load, he is a coward for making us wait til today, and using the english excuse to play for chelsea is pretty sh*ty, he could go play for the NY Red bulls or something... Not Chelsea......

But you have got to admit Debs the whole situation is a bit messy, he could of said to the fans before the end of the season -"sorrry guys, im having family probs, i have no idea where i will be playing next season" i would respect him for that....
I said before football is a business, players come and leave, clubs buy and sell. We all want him to stay but neither us nor ACM pays him GBP 140K per week. Sheva is done with us, the only interesting that I wait to see is how much we can suck Chelski.
This is a sad day but glory is lumming in the horizion, we will rebuild our squad.

Alright, I realize I got a bit emotional. However, Shevchenko is not a Milan player anymore, and he betrayed the club. From now on he's an enemy.
Expression is a freedom and it's hard to be logical or level headed about all this, but lets try to calm things down a little.
Football is a business and no matter how much we love certain individuals, they are merely assets. It doesn't matter how prestigious we are or how much history we have, we still need to function smoothly and cost effectively.
As supporters we support the team and not an individual.
No matter how much it hurts or how angry you get, i don't think we should lower ourselves to that of a mindless thug. We claim to be some of the best supporters in the world for the best team in the world and if ever there was a time to test this fact, this would be it.
I'd expect more from some of the 'senior' members here. It's time to show a bit of pride and dignity in the face of adversity and a crisis. Hard i know, but not impossible as we are all AC MILAN SUPPORTERS !

This is a sad day for sure . . Sheva we'll always have good memories of him, but this only deepens my resentment towards Chelsea . . and to be fair about this Sheva's reasoning makes no sense . . he says that he doesn't know english and his wife does, but the only common language both he and his wife speak is Italian! Okay well teach your kid Italian then! Tell your kid you love him in Italian, hence STAY IN ITALY DUH! . . I still believe that Abramovic got into the wifes ear about this and she started nagging him . .
The solution will not be easy this is going to change our attacking scheme as Kaka will be the only playmaker barring any signifigant transfers . .I say "transfers" because to replace Sheva we need another play maker probably in the midfield but playing more forward to to help create with Kaka and a pure finisher to play along side Pipo and Gila. Our solution will come in the form of two players not one.

I just don´t understand some positions...Sheva can go out because "family problems" and it´s ok...and Ronaldo(for example) can´t go out of Inter because of a coach that everyone know that didn´t like him, and Ronaldo is a traitor?? This is so much hypocrisy or so much naivety...
It´s a sad day for all Milan fans, but this is the actual football, business!!
Only the suporters think of different form. Sheva leave us for Money, and of course some(few) culture changes. But, Sheva is for finishing its career, and this proposal is huge. One more thing, don´t compare Sheva to Paolo. Maldini was made in Milan youths, in contrast of Sheva, it´s unfair compare both.
Good luck, Sheva...but not against us :rone:
So, Galiani & co: go out and make some purchases:
-Rikkard is crazy, and is saiying that don´t need Daniel Alves because he has Belleti
- Alex can´t play for Chelsea, and wants to come to Milan.
- Gallas will be cheap.
- Give Lyon some love, and pay for Diarra.
- Think in the future, and purchase Kerlon and Wagner of Cruzeiro for 10milions, and the future best LB of the world Marcelo of Fluminense for 3 or 4mil...
- Adriano would be great, but IMO Gila and Adriano don´t work...
Ahh, and so it begins again! Thank you, Debs, for providing an oasis of sanity. Even though I've known this was coming for a couple of weeks now, since the announcement I've been sitting here wiping tears from my eyes. It's very difficult to see Sheva go. And I'm sure it's just as difficult for Sheva to make the decision to leave. But in the end, we all have to do what we think is best for ourselves and our families. Sheva is a human being, just as we all are. He has loved Milan, no doubt. But Milan was only his mistress. He should never be expected to love her more than he loves his wife and his child. Sheva doesn't owe us anything more than we owe him. We loved him and supported him for seven years. In return, he played his heart out for us every single match during that time. Why do some of you want to spoil seven years of wonderful memories by spewing filthy hatred? Sheva and his family made the decision they believed was best for their future and we should respect that and accept it. Many of you are acting like spoiled little children who have had their favorite plaything taken away. But playthings can be replaced. With families, it is not so easy.
I know that some of you are grasping at every straw to try to understand, but why can't you just accept it at face value. There's no reason that Sheva should have mentioned this before he did, as some of you are claiming. Making a personal decision in private is not backstabbing. He is entitled to make personal decisions in private just the same as the rest of us. How would you like it if you were expected to announce all of your innermost thoughts to the entire world? And quit blaming his wife. I even recall seeing her compared to Yoko Ono somewhere in this thread or another one. Well I hate to tell you this, but Yoko Ono did not break up The Beatles. John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr broke up The Beatles. Kristen did not break up Sheva and Milan. In the end, it was Sheva's decision and he made the one he believed was best for his family. And it is his decision, not ours.
As I've said before, Milan was a great club before Sheva came along. Milan will continue to be a great club once he is gone.
Christopher

DUDE Yoko completely broke up the Beatles! If she didn't there wouldn't be the saying " Way to break up the band Yoko!" I wouldn't surprised if it was really Abramovic who broke up the band this time and used Kristin as the enabler . . he had easy access to her since they both are in London and could continously chat in her ear about it ... yes I am that cynical.
My personal feeling is that its good that this waiting game is over, Sheva is gone, end of it. Now it is time to focus on the future and correct some of the mistakes we have done during the last couple of years, Deportive, Liverpool. We must not forget during this sad time that we have a pretty effective team with or without Sheva. What I wanted to say is, if we win those games (Deportivo, Liverpool, Barca) during the next tree years people will say Milan did the right thing.

Well, Rick, there are aspects of this Milan fandom that have never made sense to me and never will. love the guy for 7 years and then suddenly stab him in the back. Hmmm, I know soccer/footie is a game that brings out wild passions but I don't get it sometimes. And it's nothing but cruel to threaten a former player, and tha thappens to be something I will not tolerate on this forum. Period. Thats why Milan must make Chelsea pays a tons of money for Sheva, enough that we can go out and get Adriano, Zambrotta, Gallas and Diarra.
Kuyt wants to sign for Newcastle, and as for Zambrotta being 10M ... I say you are a bit locco :)

I have two very specific reasons for why I'm pissed off about this:
1. No longer than a month and a half ago, he told the fans that he was going nowhere, and that he wanted to become a Milan legend like Maldini and Billy. He lied to us, the fans who have supported him through thick and thin for 7 years. Great way to repay us.
2. He is creating huge problems for the club. He should either have announced this last summer, which would have given us a year to find a suitable replacement (and yes, I realize that he probably didn't want to leave at that point). Or, he should have announced it now but waited until the end of next season to leave, for the sake of the club where he became the superstar that he is.
I'm sorry, but as far as I am concerned he has lied to us and stabbed us in the back.
Just a few hours ago, it was made official. Sheva is no longer a Milan player.
And we're writing about how many Million Euros we should get now. And what players we should ask for. This is valid. However, I would like to make a pause from the calciomercato session, and look inside myself.
With Sheva's departure, I don't only see a good player leave... one who could give us a good 20-25 goals per season avg. in years to come.
I see a part of my rossonero heart go. A little bit of my inner child die. Like when you find out that Santa Claus doesn't exist, and that, in the end, it's just your parents buying presents for you.
It was nice to think the fairy tale would be eternal truth. That money can't buy everything. That idols still deserve the title.
Sheva leaves, and it's his decision. Even if his wife pushed for this,
it's his decision, so we can't blame it on her... he picked her...
At this point, I don't want to know anything else... I will just follow the thread and the news hoping we can get a good deal out of losing him... even though it kinda feels like when you do a life insurance claim... you can now get the money, but you will never recover the loved one you lost...
To Sheva: With a tear running over my grown man's face, I write to you to thank you.
For letting me drive to work in the morning listening to the recording of the last penalty in Old Trafford 3 years ago. E per tante altre cose.

Regarding kuijt, there is a big dif between wanting to sign for them and not having a better alternative. I mean, I doubt that if Milan or some other big club want to sign him, he would go to Newcastle where his prospects for even a minor trophy are basically non-existant.

Were you even alive when The Beatles were together? It was jealousy and envy, mainly between Lennon and McCartney, that led them to break up. The writing was on the wall before John even met Yoko. That's why they hadn't toured since 1966. And Abramovich didn't do anything but try to acquire a player his manager wanted. Nobody put a gun to Sheva's head and forced him to leave. It's obviously something he's been thinking about for awhile -- probably more so lately -- and he made the decision he believed was best for himself and his family. If you can't accept that, then you, yourself, should never change jobs or move to a different city in your lifetime without consulting everyone in your original :p286: city and everyone on this and any other forum you belong to for their approval.

This is terrible! I saw this kid, about 8,9 years old and he had a new white Sheva shirt! This was the first time a saw anyone wear a Sheva shirt here. I told him to go get a new one. Hehe. Well,well....
Anyways..we need to be tricky about a replacement, Chel$ea will be a very very very very good side next season. Kujt...Newcastle aren't all that bad, he could win something there...in his lifetime. Hehe. He's just not a tricky enough signing...I don't really know for sure if I'm right about that.

.
I proudly wear a jersey with Shevchenko's name on my back.
And I do not have to get a new one, simple because my jersey is yellow-n-blue :-)
I wanted Sheva to stay with AC Milan, well ... he is a grown-up, a man has gotta do what he's gotta do.
I wondered if we would ever score another goal after MVB retired but we did. We are bigger than any one player. We will be winning cups when Shevas kid has his PhD in English. Lets now just hope for a good price.
Thank you Sheva for all the memories.
Period. I don't care if the guy leaves for money, for more glory or b/c the wife wanted to be in a big city and not out near Lake Como. Oh, did I make that comment that came from IMing Angelo? :v46: I know what the press is going to be told, again for family reasons, so read between the lines. But please, we need to calm down, and thank you to those who are prevailing in putting this all into perspective. & years...doesn't seem at all long enough...
Yes, you're right. And really it is fans everywhere, not only Milan. People love their clubs or whatever sports team and sometimes they don't think rationally.
But it saddens me when people suddenly hate a player they have loved for so long when he leaves. Anyone who really has loved Sheva, really and truly, could not act that way. That's why I compared it to a child losing a plaything. Some only loved Sheva's goals and are afraid they can't be replaced. Had it been the man they loved, they would wish him well and move on.
****ing Kristen Pazcik!! its the Yoko Ono of the new Century!!

Most people don't have thousands of fans who have supported them throughout the most of their careers. Being a football player isn't just another job. You make millions every year, but there are certain expectations that come with those wages: Loyalty and respect for the fans and the club.
I mean, honestly. Henry couldn't leave Arsenal because of the fans. Sheva leaves Milan in spite of the fans (who have done everything they could to make him stay). Obviously the Milan fans don't mean as much to Sheva as the Arsenal fans mean to Henry, even though we've worshipped him like a god for seven years.

I wanted to start a new sub-thread.
How much do you think there was of "discomfort" ( a bad word but cannot find a better one now) of working with Carlo and playing/not-playing with Gila and Pippo in Shevchenko's decision to leave?

Of course there is good food here Debs :) It's no different from anywhere else in the world in that it has its good points and bad points. Now you're just making me hungry talking about Chinese, i haven't had any dinner yet ! :D

he will be dearly missed :(
what a sad day for me.. im still hopeful for milan though.. now 2 WORLD CLASS attacking players have left milan, rui costa and sheva, lets see who they bring in to fill in their boots.. 1 thing for sure, the departure of these 2 will also make a huge loss in shirt sales.. we also need to work fast..
the only way i will think this is a good deal is by getting a minimum of 40m cash + whoever.. getting crespo is VERY realistic but unfortunately a bad move.. lets hope for the best guys.. good luck to sheva n his family.. i hope u learn english very well! :|

So now it's finally done, and I'm glad it's over. Bye bye, mr. Shevchenko, you can bask on russian mafia's money. Or is someone here believing on that crappy talking of raising his child on an english based environment? Yeah, right...
Well, let's forget about the guy, he's now dead meat for us. What have to do now is to get all the money we can from Abramovitch. You can also accept great players like Gallas or Robben on the deal, but not Crespo or Droga, for cryin' out loud! So let's pick a huge amount of cash; Gallas AND Robben or at least one of them; and with the received bid, buy a great striker like Torres or Tevez, and also, injecting a surplus money of our's, pick players like Mascherano and Sneijder.
I totally agree with you here. 100% Support. I don't like his attitude and timing, and you must thank our management for being so understanding. If there is one guy who qualify to be pissed with Sheva, it's Galliani.
