Well i have an idea.....crazy idea...... why dont we offer to city for 70M Pirlo+Ronaldinho? And with the money to buy ribery (40M) and Miguel (20M)RB from Valencia?
I think Pirlo is a great player but he plays 1 good game in 5 games. + he is getting older, almost 30 + he can't play in other position eccept DMC and help the team in different role. + with him the team can't play 4-4-2 wich is a system that is the best one for us.
Ronaldinho: He is not still fit, he is still fat, and he hasn't the desire he has with barca at his best. I can't see him to perform like his best with barca.
Our new Milan.
-----------------------------Abiatti----------------------------------
Miguel-------------T.Silva-----------Nesta-------------Zambro--------
Ribery------------------Gattuso------Flamini--------------------Janku
------------------------------------Kaka-------------------------------
-------------------------Pato--------------------------------------------
How about that......... just a idea dont start screaming. :D
Hmm.. I won't scream but it amazes me how some people on MM have disregarded R80 completely. I rate him higher than any other player on the planet though he's down these days. As far as getting rid of Pirlo is concerned, he's one of the best playmakers out there so I wouldn't get rid of him quickly (irrespective of my love for his game).
Miguel isn't worth more than 12m, plus his style won't ideally suit Serie A.
As has been said a lot of times by many, buying Ronaldinho was not a smart move and now playing him is becoming another problem (so those skeptics reminding us of the 2006 WC were probably right after all). It would be a dream come true of R80 can get back to his best and learn to play with Kaka'.
Replace one of the midfielders with Gourcuff and things might look right in your formation. Also Ribery is not a winger like Diego Capel. He likes to cut in and play through the middle/roam around as well so he's might be a problem to Kaka's game (like R80 is).
Can someone help me out understanding why Ronaldinho cannot work with Kaka but Seedorf can so smoothly.

Rumor has it that we are looking to bring back another player from last century.

Simply put, I'd say it's a mixture of two factors: The first is that both Kaká and Dinho want to the centre of the team's build-up play, whereas Seedorf (who usually doesn't play as high on the pitch) tends to mold his game to accomodate Kaká. The other factor is time; Seedorf has played with Kaká many times more than Dinho has - so obviously they know each other better.
I do think it's be possible for Kaká and Dinho to play well together (I still have faith :r7:!), they just need time and perhaps more importantly the will to let each other do what they do best, Kaká being faster and more dynamic and Dinho being more creative and technical. If they do that (and Dinho gets back into shape) we'll have an absolutely irresistible weapon on our hands - though maybe I'm just a daydreamer...

Add Pato to that. Now I'm dreaming :grinser:
But I do think Kaka' has to compromise his game if there is a possibility that we can get the best out of R80.

I don't really get why some posters (not just mrki) are so set on taking Pirlo out the team (if not the club). Maybe I'm missing something, but to me much of the reason he's struggled in recent years is 3-fold.
1) Opponents figured out Carlo's system and pressed Pirlo as EVERYTHING went through him before.
2) He didn't have the freedom to move around much, making him an easy target to press.
3) The team was shamefully static. Only recently has the team really looked mobile again in it's movement. This means Pirlo, as a distributor and a creator has no options whatsoever to create anything, and ends up struggling to pick a decent pass.
Recently, Pirlo's game has been much better, and for me without a doubt it's to do with the teams improvement. We're moving much better giving him targets, he's got a little more freedom as other are actually covering now and most importantly we're on the right track to finding some balance in the side.
A winger ?
Hey, I'm just the messenger. But that said, Malouda can actually play as a supporting striker or behind the strikers. And Ribery is primarily a winger too, but a lot of folks seem to like the idea of acquiring him since it was in the papers. We never really know what they have up their sleeve.

All English press are bull$hit man... Accept that. The Malouda thing is a joke. He could not play at the center, and we never need a pure winger. But if that means our strategy's changing, I'm on it.

I'd say yes if it will be only until the end of season. We need reinforcements on the backline and he will provide those. Then at next season we'll get Thiago Silva as his replacement. Sounds good.

Hey, nobody is more skeptical of the English media than me. That's why I said in the beginning it probably wasn't worth much. But who knows what Milan might be thinking? Maybe there are plans to switch formations, in which case Malouda and Ribery would make a nice pair on the wings!

agreed, our team has been more than static, when we have movement on the pitch, then pirlo steps in!

Agger in the dark over new deal at Liverpool as AC Milan keep tabs on the Denmark defender
By Christopher Davies
Daniel Agger has admitted he fears for his Liverpool future after talks over a new contract stalled.
The Denmark international had initial discussions with Liverpool about a new deal in November.
AC Milan are monitoring the situation and Agger said: 'The ball is in Liverpool's court. "I've not heard from them about this since the beginning of November.
'There is no reason to have high expectations and to be honest, I have no idea if they want to sign a new deal.'

Even Abraăo (Brasileiro) has only seen him in one game, although he did say that Mattioni was very good in the match he saw.
We'll just have to wait and see ... though hopefully not too long!

AC Milan midfielder Emerson set to join Portsmouth, confirms player's agent
Emerson, the AC Milan midfielder, is set to join Portsmouth according to the Brazilian's agent.
'We are negotiating on behalf of Portsmouth and Milan are ready to sell the player,' said Vincenzo Morabito.
Emerson is not in Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti's plans and Morabito said: 'Emerson's contract will run out next June and we must consider that.
'It remains to be seen what his decision will be. He would probably want an 18-month contract.'

i dont think he'll get a shot and will be sent out.... quoting carlo he is great going forward but cant really defend. he's only 20. although i think itd be worth it to bring him along way manutd have w/ rafael or even juve w/ de ceglie.....
carlo wont, i can almost garentee it. but hey in 7 years maicon will be 34 and dani alves 32..... so there come our future brazilian wbs..
Carlo actually said Mattioni choose no.2 coz he hopes he will be like Cafu for Milan, and Carlo also hopes so. And then he mentioned that he looked very DISCIPLINED on the training, so...
Milan payed 8mln for him. And we dont pay 8mln for players that are not worth something. Grimi was nothing almost, Yoan 2mln :) Kaka' - priceless (8mln actually) :)
Yes, our scout Brasiliero said he only saw him once. Too bad, he usually recognises players extremly good.
I will try to explain Pirlo problem later as i dont have so much time now. But yes, Pirlo played two good games vs Viola and Bologna. Aldough a goal from Bologna was after shamefull defending from Pirlo in the middle.

Does some one heard about the possibility of signing Panucci?
Galliani denied couple of days ago this news but Genoa president told that "panucci will go to Milan". Its realy sounds like us to sign 35 years old player. Panucci isnt so bad but at his age he is not needed.
Is there any news about Emerson proposed move? i heared that Espanyol and Portsmuth were intrested but still no news about that.
Kalac is another wasted player that might leave the club. Lazio might get the player as acover to Carrizo. We know that no one is stupid enough to pay Dida's wage so he is sticking with us till 2011. Abbiati is our first choice so Kalac chance to play is Zero. I think we should let him go.

It has been rumoured that the club officials met Oscar Darmiani (his agent) last night to iron out the details. Personally, if he comes on loan for the rest of this season, I won't complain, as he's reliable and would be a better option than Senderos. That said, Lyon are supposedly after him and Roma might even keep him after Cassetti got injured.

Just for your info - Panucci has been awesome this year and last...so having him on a 5 month loan deal is great.
We could have Pannuci/Mattioni on the right, Zambro/Janku on the left..and there's Antonini who could play both. We could send Janku to midfield but I highly doubt that as Becks is here now.

That is how sad our coindition is. Player like Panucci shouldnt be a strengh to club like Milan. I agree that he is much batter then Favalli and Senderos. Still cant understand what Favalli doing in the middle of the defence. I saw Bonera againts Hannover and he looked just fine. Eventually when Nesta,Kaladze,Bonera will be back so Panuccis chances to play will be much slimer. Next season Tiago silva will play along side with Nesta,Kaladze,Bonera or even a new DC. In the right wing we got Zambrota and the new Brazilian guy so still not realy to much space for him.

Don't think of him as a strength or a weakness, but rather as a tool. It's very difficult to acquire players with quality, experience and a proper attitude during the winter transfer period. There is so much panic buying going on that players are either overpriced or of inferior quality. Someone such as Panucci could help to solidify Milan's defense the rest of the way and then permanent reinforcements can be obtained in the summer when there is more time and flexibility. The main thing right now is to secure a spot in the Champions League for next year. Hopefully Milan can make a push for the Scudetto as well. If Panucci can help Milan accomplish one or both of those goals, it will only make it easier for Milan to attract the right type of players in the summer.

I just think that we wouldnt make any progress with Panucci. Bonera and kaladze should be back soon. I prefer to see the young brazilian guy getting operunity instead 35 year old like panucci. either way panucci will leave to a club that will secure him contract for atleast year and a half. The way things are going now , Ancheloti will give Favalli another year to play so we dont need another old guy in those positions. Anyway when coach like ancheloti got this aged player they get their chances instead seeing new blood in Milan. Panucci isnt bad and probably much batter the Senderos and Favalli but pay 2.5-3 mill Euro(wage) for a season for him its waste of money.
if we take him and play him instead of favalli and senderos then i am ok with him being a TEMPEROARY solution, but to pay him a high wage and also have favalli and senderos it is just a waste of money!!!!
get rid of senderos and favalli and bring him for the rest of the season!!!and zhen get rid of him too and take one world class LB!!!
but this isn`t gonna happen,i guess we will end up with him in our allready really old squad!!!
sheesh sometimes we look like world war 2 veterans squad!!
Panucci, is a 'Champion' and has a wealth of experience...Oh wait we have a long line of these.
He is still a good player and would surely add alot to most teams. Milan are however in need of willing and eager runners. It is no concicidence Pato is our best player this season.
Pato is most likely the best U20 player in the world so... He would be one of the best players in any club.
Pannuci in Milan would mean that the circus continues.
Pato is most likely the best U20 player in the world so... He would be one of the best players in any club.
Has Walcott reached 20?.. Wait.. it doesn't matter..
Sergio Busquets has been brilliant this season.. would rate him amongst the top 3 atleast.. although I think he's touched 20. He's unlikely to get a starting place for 2 years atleast.. maybe we should go for him.
I didnt mean Pato is the best under 20 player (Which he may be).
I meant he is OUR best player this season, without any credible competition. Well maybe Abbiati (in a position which requires no running- My point exactly)
There is one reason he has outshone the rest. He is the only player who runs on and off the ball. The other 10 just want to stand there and play magical passes without moving their @sses. We are so desperate for runner its ridiculous.
There was no point in Serghinio retiring, becuase he ran more in his last match than these bunch of overpaid dramaqueens have all season.
At Ronaldhinio's age he should be at the peak of his powers, but the guy just plants his feet and wants to control with one foot and flick away with his other. How many times have you seen him run into a position to receive the ball? Some of these guys need a big stick inserting where the sun dont shine.
Apart from my little random rant...Panucci wont give us what we need and that is ENERGY. The kind of energy that will tire the other teams defences for 70 minutes, which would allow Ronnie, Shevchenko, Inzaghi to run at tired defenders. Instead, our opponents watch Seedorf and Ronnie p!ss about with the ball on the wings from a distance and are competley fresh at the end of the game.

You make some good points, but if Milan were to bring in Panucci he would probably see most of his time in central defense. If you're relying on a central defender to provide energy, you're in trouble right from the start. So I'm not sure how bringing in Panucci for cover on defense the rest of the season connects to the energy thing. If he can help Milan make it back to the Champions League, I don't see why anyone would be against it.

Well, I think guys like Zambro,Janku, Antonini, Gattuso, Flamini and Kaka runs alot too. TO me, the fact that guys like Pirlo, Seedorf and Dinho, whenever two of them are on the pitch we seems to struggle with speed. Those three are awesome players, but as of now, only one of them should be playing b/c Milan really lacks movement and speed.
THis is my lineup for Milan with available players.
Abbiati
Zambro-Maldini-Bonera-Antonini
Beckham-Flamini-Janku
Kaka-Pirlo
Pato
BUt knowing Carlo, he will never play like that

PATO is the best player at his age, he is equal to messi. Serie A, is hell for most of the players. don't underrate what pato has achieved so far switch him with any player, you name him (WALCOTT, BALOTELLI, KRICIC ...etc) and you will see what pato is
Phew, thank God for that. Pato as mentioned imo is the best sub 20 player in the world. In a few years, he'll be talked about as the world's best.

NO really are you for real?
if you wanna compare him to the above mentioned player ok... no problem Pato has scored so far more than the 3 players added together. pato is scoring, assisting and destroying the other teams:dumpf:
Bojan has done it as well. He stepped into the first team at 16 years old. He's a little inconsistent and doesn't get any playing time and has to compete with Henry, Eto'o and Messi to find a starting place.. it's not that easy. Pato gets to walk into a team like Milan because he's got nobody to compete against.
Bojan's not as good as Pato yet but there is no reason for us to assume that he won't in the future.. because quite simply, HE"S GOT THE TALENT.
Dos Santos sucks.. Seen him play may times. Vela is only good yet. Haven't seen Jovetic but according to the link given above, he's failed to score in 18 appearances.
bLOND !-,-!

how do u mean that pato doesn't have anyone to compete with in ac milan ?
for god sakes, he is in our first team instead of the best scorer in european competitions(pippo), and instead of the third best scorer in european competitions(sheva), and also sheva is one of milan's best scorers ever ? second, or third ?
and 19-year old kid is better than them...
herny is not so good anymore, but obviously better than bojan.. so bojan is not so special after all... if he is really something , he will be playing instead of henry....
pato is much much better, u can't compare them... pato with 19 years already has some continuity and experience!

hey boring do you think if pato is playing for barcelona, he would have any problem benching any striker there??? you just made it silly when you mentioned the competition. why would you consider him a star if he is not able to compete.
pato was 17 yrs old, when made a joke out of the mighty puyol and zambrotta. pato played under a high pressure that no superstar can take... and yet he delivered. do you how hard it is to be in pato's shoe and still you score 20 goals in 1 year?
i trully doubt that kricic or any other player would do 50% of what pato is doing even if they have no competition at all...

IF there is anyone that u can compare Pato to, he is none other than Augero, wait, how old is Augero again, like 21.
Put it this way, if I have to rank top 20 attackers(strikers, Attk Mid, Wingers) I would put Pato in that list, and he is byfar the youngest person there.
I understand what you were saying K77SH C, I was just sayin' its not hard for any team to have PAto as their close-to-best player as he is simply brilliant.
I wanted to say its not just the pace ( yes, its also that incredible pace), he is simply smart, has the feeling for a goal, passes, he has everything to be brilliant.
but again, yes, the players with the pace are the players we need - FLAMINIIII!!!!
EDIT:
Im not afraid to say that Bojan Krkić will never be as good as PAto. Not coz Im a milanista, I would say the other way if I thought so. But Pato has the brasilian magic that europeans simply lack, and it always makes the difference.
To compare La Liga and serie a and the way forwards play in there shown that its 3 times easier to play as a forward in La Liga. But to be honest, this seria a, by quality, if far behind the old serie a in the 90's when the defences were above this world!
But, also to say this. Krkic was raised in Camp Nou. And he had time and adjustment to walk into super attacking team like Barca.
Pato played half of a professional season and signed for AC Milan. Came here and played with a team where the's no normal attacking player but Kaka'. Same this year, where he has all the pressure on himself.
I doubt a player like Krkic could have scored 19 goals in 31 games for Milan.
To put it simple, I think Pato is "much" better then Bojan. "much" meaning that spark that makes the difference :)

Hey, remember Vela and bojan are playing in clubs with top strikers Bojan vs eto, henry, messi, vela vs van persie, adebayor,Eduardo
Pato in Milan is vs finished Sheva, finished Pippo, and injured Boriello.
I will tell you something for a talented player the most important thing is always to play games! Vela and Bojan have shown great skills in the little games they had play.
pato is great, and he is playing, bojan and vela must drom one of eto, messi, henry, adebayor, eduardo (world class players).Incredible to drop one of them.
theres still this difference between playnig in La Liga, EPL and Serie A, which is the hardest for youngsters...
so for me, Pato is the best young striker out there ;)

I can't believe people actually is comparing Vela, Bojan and Pato.
Just wait in a few years, and sees who is still left.
I think its a misconception that central defenders dont require 'energy'. It is no coincidence, that we only have 1 or 2 players who can contribute to a counter. Also how many of our central defenders can drive the ball into midfield? Finally, Maldini and co are consistently getting outjumped towards the end of games.
I see where you are coming from, Panucci is a class act. The fact is, most of his strengths we already have in abundance. He would be alot better for most other clubs, not convinced he will be as good for us.
Im looking forward to see the 'Energy' that Thiago will add. Also PAnucci to Milan would probably mean he will be Thiagos partner for the next 10 years.

Sheva and Pippo are not the same anymore.. apparently you're living in the past. They cannot compete with Pato anymore.. he's amongst the world's best.. they're far far away at the moment.
Lebanese
you just made it silly when you mentioned the competition. why would you consider him a star if he is not able to compete.
When did I ever say he cannot compete? according to my understanding, you fabricated a statement that I supposedly said so that you could look like you are right? Are you a Republican?
do you how hard it is to be in pato's shoe and still you score 20 goals in 1 year?
No I dont.. dont speak as if you do.. I won't reply to any further of your ridiculous points since they're based on things I never said. You're like Goal.com.. you hear what you want to..
Mrki
But, also to say this. Krkic was raised in Camp Nou. And he had time and adjustment to walk into super attacking team like Barca
It's not easy to walk into a team with Henry, Messi, Eto'o and Hleb.. and he was only 17 years old last season which was arguably a very good one. Obviously he's not as good as Pato right now. Pato is the best under 21 in the world unquestionably.
What I said was - "Bojan's not as good as Pato yet but there is no reason for us to assume that he won't in the future"
For all those who think that this means Bojan is better than Pato, it really means this - 'Bojan has never been as good as Pato. He is very talented and has scored over 1000 goals for Barca youth team. Do not underestimate his abilities in spite how unbelievably good Pato is.
I stand by it in spite of what Mrki and an idiot said.. what annoys me is that there seems to be an air of childish responses to my post. Kaka's my favourite player.. he's the only player whose jersey i own.. both home and away.. but I think both Messi and Ronaldinho are more talented than him.
P.S. - Mrki I agree what you say about South Americans and Europeans.. I think it's the street football shown in movies that sets them apart.
I want to add one thing
if borrielo wasnt injured in the first place, then pato would be on the bench like he started this season because of our clown coach..
I actually wouldn't mind that. Keep Pato on the bench while Borriello destroys the other team, and unleash him early in the second half where he would run like crazy. It worked brilliantly before Borriello got injured.

Inter are down 1- 0 ....great for now
how do u mean that pato doesn't have anyone to compete with in ac milan ?
for god sakes, he is in our first team instead of the best scorer in european competitions(pippo), and instead of the third best scorer in european competitions(sheva), and also sheva is one of milan's best scorers ever ? second, or third ?
and 19-year old kid is better than them...
herny is not so good anymore, but obviously better than bojan.. so bojan is not so special after all... if he is really something , he will be playing instead of henry....
pato is much much better, u can't compare them... pato with 19 years already has some continuity and experience!
This doesn't make sense to me. You think it's harder to get playing time ahead Henry (31) than ahead of Pippo (35) and Sheva (32)?
And what does it matter that Pippo is the best scorer in European competitions, and Sheva is the second highest scorer for Milan? They're still past their best, and you can't even compare Sheva in his current state to Henry in his.
I do think Pato is the bigger prospect of the two (him and Bojan), but please remember and acknowledge that Bojan is a year younger and competes with Messi, Eto'o, Henry, Iniesta and Hleb for a spot, whereas Pato has two old players and one perma-injured (Borriello).
:zany:hey boring do you think if pato is playing for barcelona, he would have any problem benching any striker there??? you just made it silly when you mentioned the competition. why would you consider him a star if he is not able to compete.
pato was 17 yrs old, when made a joke out of the mighty puyol and zambrotta. pato played under a high pressure that no superstar can take... and yet he delivered. do you how hard it is to be in pato's shoe and still you score 20 goals in 1 year?
i trully doubt that kricic or any other player would do 50% of what pato is doing even if they have no competition at all...
Messi and Eto'o, that's two he wouldn't bench.
And do really mean ANY player? I could mention plenty of players who could do 50% or more of what Pato has done (I'm not going to, though :zany:). I think people should be a bit careful about overhyping Pato, wonderful as he is, though.
To compare La Liga and serie a and the way forwards play in there shown that its 3 times easier to play as a forward in La Liga. But to be honest, this seria a, by quality, if far behind the old serie a in the 90's when the defences were above this world!
3 times easier?!? So if Luca Toni had played in Spain a few years ago, he would have scored 93 goals?
Yeah people let's not even compare the two situations...Bojan has probably the best player in the world, the La Liga top scorer (with an amazing ratio this year.. > 1.0 goal/game) and Henry to fight with for a spot.
Pato has Pippo (can't play too often..age/injury issues) , Sheva (more like $heva) and Borriello who's injured to compete with. Not to take anything away from Pato but Bojan has 50x the competition to deal with.
To already consider Pato to be the best in the world and to say that he's god and other stuff like that has pressure or complacency impact on the player.
on acmilan-online.com I had a discussion with some moron in which he compared young Ronaldo-FOWLER and PAto... Fowler??? Then I ended the discussion which was pure madness...
Sorry to say this, but your lack of knowledge about Robbie Fowler says more about you than it does about the 'moron' who was doing the comparisons.
It's not your fault though as i doubt you've seen much (if anything) of Fowler in the Liverpool youth & reserve teams and then in the first team in his late teens/early twenties, which is probably the reason why this 'moron' made the comparison in the first place. When someone mentions Fowler to you, no doubt you and many others think of an unfit, slightly over weight striker that barely played for England.
I obviously don't know all that this person was saying in these comparisons, but if he was talking about natural finishing ability at a young age, then the comparisons between Fowler & Pato are far from madness. All the impressive & heavy goalscoring Pato does in training, Fowler has done before, it's nothing new. If anything Pato has alot to do to be as good a goalscorer as Fowler was in his early career, look at the stats and you'll see why i say this.
Currently they are about equal, Fowler had 18 goals in 34 matches in his first full season for Liverpool. Pato has 18/19 in 37 (something like that i think). Fowler then went on to score over 30 goals a season for 3 consecutive seasons and he did all this before he turned 22. He scored in his first game for Liverpool (1st leg of a cup match) and then scored 5 in the return leg 2 weeks later. He also has the fastest Premiership hat-trick at 4m 33secs against Arsenal of all teams (when they had a fantastic defence).
Remember this isn't about skill on the ball, stepovers or anything like that. It's about pure finishing ability and given the stats, Fowler has this in bucket loads. I'm also not saying one is better than the other, i'm illustrating my point that the comparisons between Fowler & Pato (at an early stage) are anything but madness to anyone who knows the players involved.
He was the PFA Young Player of the Year for 2 consecutive seasons in 95-96. Scored that brilliant 5 minute hattrick. I remember Fowler in the 2000-01 season when he was a treat to watch. I actually liked the Liverpool back then. Rush, Fowler, Mcmanaman, Owen were all very good players.. It's a little funny both Fowler and Owen started off promisingly and stayed like that for a while but faded towards the end. Owen isn't the same anymore.. Throw Cole, Yorke into that as well.. Thug Rooney is down the same path .. what's the deal with English strikers anyway?
No Jim, for real(aldough I know you enjoy insulting me in any possible way you find and that seems "suptile" and therefore acceptable ), I actually ADORED Fowler as a player, im not lying now. I watched him 1000 times, I know he is a born scorer. I loved the way he understands the game etc.But to compare il phenomeno and Fowler is a sentence of a clown. I stand by this.
Pato is, and by a good margin, a player Fowler will never be. He has something more, and Fowler is not, in my oppinion, a player to put amongst Pato and Il Phenomeno. But I accept your point, I didnt know all the fowler numbers, thanx for the info.

Agree, pato possess a lot more talent, his physical attributes and skill set is among the top level which fowler lacks. If both reach their full potential, pato will be compared to il phenomeno, while fowler only reminds us pippo.

Or how about Corradi, Chevanton or Cristiano Doni and their stints in Valencia, Sevilla and Mallorca? There are stories like that for all leagues. Just look at Sheva's spell in England - does that mean the EPL is several times stronger than the Serie A? Of course not.
Also remember that Oliveira went from a midtable team in Spain (where he was the star of the team) to Milan, having to replace Shevchenko. Add to that the fact that his sister was kidnapped during most of the season.

If we win, it's because Beckham is good. It's what you can read in a lot of French medias !!

It's a shame you think so little of me. I have nothing personal against you and don't deliberately set out to attack or insult you, it's just unfortunate that i strongly disagree with some of your posts.

If you notice, in my post i did not compare Ronaldo & Fowler. Remember i was not comparing Pato & Fowler in all round ability or even on Fowler's entire career either, it was purely on goalscoring instinct most notably in his first 4 seasons. In this i find it hard to understand how you can place Pato so far beyond Fowler when Pato has yet to prove himself and Fowler had a record to match that of any young striker. Any front man who scores over 100 goals before he's 22 and in one of the 'big' leagues, surely has nothing to prove to anyone. Maybe i find the people who readily dismiss this fact as the moronic ones and are in need of some re-educating. Before you reply, i will clarify that i am not including you in that statement.
I called that man a "moron" coz of the way he behaved, like a moron.
Pato will go for the golden ball be sure of it.
None of us, no matter how passionately we believe it, can predict the future. It is impossible to say with 100% accuracy how Pato's career will develop. However, if he progresses as we all hope, then yes i believe he can and will win the Golden Ball.
I do not wish this to sound patronising, but be careful with your insults, especially if you do not like being insulted back.
I hope this clears our 'disagreement' up :1five:

Drogba will be 31 by the time the next mercato comes around. This will mean one of two things:
1.Inter will sign a 31 year old who relys heavily on his physical strength. He may start off deadly, but will eventually lose his abilty to impose himself on defenders in much the same way Weah did towards the end of his career.
2. Milan will be attracted to yet another 31 year old 'Champion' who relys heavily on his physical strength. He may start off deadly, but will eventually lose his abilty to impose himself on defenders in much the same way Weah did towards the end of his career.

AC Milan sign Italian Under-21 left back
/ Confirmed transfer
03/02/2009
AC Milan have continued to strengthen their ageing squad with the signing of highly-rated Parma left back Marco Rossi.
The 21-year-old is the third young defender to join the Rossoneri in January following two very highly rated Brazilians in Thiago Silva and Felipe Mattioni, the second of whom has been labeled "the new Maicon."
Parma are expected to lend Rossi to Milan until the end of the season. The Rossoneri will then have the right to buy the left-sided defender for around two million euros.
Rossi played 17 games for Parma this season, he has spent his whole career at the Serie B club, except for one season on loan at Modena.
According to IMScouting’s network of scouts in Italy, Rossi is a "multi talented defender who is more comfortable as a left back, but can play as a central defender as well. Rossi is very tall, strong and with great pace, he has a very high work rate, and he is very tough. Needs to improve his technical skills, and if he can do so he can be a top Serie A defender. He is a member of the Italy U-21 team."
Hell to the yes. I don't know whether it's because you never thought he's good enough or whether you think he can never get back to his best but you should give him a chance.. alteast 2 seasons.
Theres no doubt he should be given a chance, but 2 years? He will be 30 by then.
According to calciomercato we are linked with Suarez from Ajax. Cant read Italian, but 40m sounds alot of money. Dont know much about him though.
Surely just a rumour.

I think the reasons why I asked that and don't agree are obvious and posted before, if mrki is serious :D
Haha, Im serious. Signing a young italian defender and letting him play 6 more months on loan is a good thing in serie a.
I dont think he would have played right now in Milan.
Not that I am for loans really but co-ownership is not good at all, to me it doesn't serve any purpose, just my opinion :)
^^ A small team is more likely to accept a co-ownership deal than a pure loan deal because they'll at least make some money out of it. Then we can evaluate the kid and figure whether he's good enough to play for us or not.
We must face the prospect that the fee for the half will be more than what we could pay for his 100% now? What sort of evaluation is this? If he is not a flop we are losing money, and if he is flop that says a lot about our eye for talent, even this current half is wasted money.
And all this because we can't find a smaller team to accept something perhaps better (loan or whatever)
I seriously think co-ownership exists because of a monetary or tax law, not footballing reasons. One clue is that you don't see it happening at all or not as much in other leagues.
I think the small team might also feel more obliged to develop the player since he's partly theirs...rather than a player who doesn't belong to them at all. I know I'm fishing for reasons but that's all that comes to mind at the moment.
A young left back, great signing even I don't know anything about him! must give credit to the management on their recent work.To my surprise,B32 is a such a magnificent steal(though it means we need to spend big on him).

40 million euro! RITE! like that's possible !! :ende:
No way is Suarez worth more than 10-12 million. It's almost rude someone would associate Milan with a 40 million euro deal for Suarez.
Anyway, if Milan, and it seems likely, keep Beckham and SOMEHOW manage to bring back Yoan ( which I deeply hope so!), there is absolutely no need for Seedorf anymore in Milan.
We should give the space to Yoan, Pato, Flamini, thiago and Mattioni ( if he is good, we have clausole of 8mln so...) and let them build around the best: Nesta, Kaka', Zambrotta, Pirlo ( if he feels like playing), Gattuso, Inzaghi...
If we do it right there will be more then few changes in Milan this summer, 5-6 in my oppinion. And then we would gave truly strong team with power and speed.
But its necessary to let Gourcuff play, and say bye to some of the players that dont belong in here anymore: Favalli, Maldini ( well that is a different story), Senderos, Dida, kalac, emerson, Seedorf, $hevchenko.
The key is to switch Seedorf for Gourcuff, in my oppinion. And make the transition of the WAY we play in tempo changes.

Dont get your hopes on, theres not a chance in the world that seedorf we'll leave for yoann. Carlo loves seedorf more than any other player, and he doesn not like gourcuff. The only way that can happen is when carlo is leaving. but that wont happen this summer.
And the new 'love' from the management is beckham, so they will do everything to let him stay, wich means selling gourcuff, and maybe even flamini!

I doubt Milan will sell Flamini just so that Beckham will stay. And quite frankly,Ireally think Seedorf will begin to play less simply b/c he is not performing. Lastly, Yoann will come back, as Galli and Berlu do not want to look stupid for letting Yoann go for 15M as he is really becoming the next ZZ.
I really think Seedorf will leave after this season, as he is really useless on the pitch. As for Carlo, he might leave if the right coach comes along for Milan.

If some sort of team planning is being done he can fit in some capacity and can handle it in my opinion. For example, I mean if there is a clear plan on how to attempt to replace Maldini, loaning a defender to see how it works out is not a plan in my opinion, that's the kind of stuff I mean.
To me sometimes it doesn't look like there is as much planning as there should but of course many will say I am silly and of course there is :D

On February 23 it will be 23 years that I'm a general manager of Milan and I learnt one thing: the destiny of a director is tied to the motivations of the player more than how he works. If Senderos arrives and breaks a toe and then finds difficulty he is a bad purchase, if Beckham arrives and adapts himself better than expected, then I'm a genius: I don't think that it's true the first sentence and neither the second."

Mark my words, gourcuff will be sold! Why do you think he will stay? He's no friend of carlo and seedorf is on his position. + we still have dinho for that position next to ricky. or do you want him in midfield. we have Pirlo who always plays, and max & rino as defensive mids. And beckham on the right. Theres no place for gourcuff with carlo as the manager.
whats so weird about the thing I said about flamini. the guy isnt playing, he is way too good to be on the bench. and I really wouldnt be surprised if we sold him.

I have also made my own observation with the similar thinking process!
I am pretty sure we are buying Messi from Barca at the end of the season, you know why? The guy is playing as a starter all the time! By doing that they are covering up the fact that negotiations are ongoing in order not to anger the fans! Let's all praise the management and hope for a quick Messi arrival! :1old:

I recommend two things for you:
1.- Choose a different nickname.
The reason is that we can't make reference of you by listing the coach's name... too confusing... pick a name, send me a private message and we will change it for you.
2.- Stop trying to look smart by confronting everyone, and everything they say.

lol someone just got pissed
one thing yoan can replace seedorf, but he cannot replace seedorfs role..lets not confuse these things they re tottaly different..
a team that would have kaka-yoan-flamini-rino pirlo/seedorf and 2 good full backs zambro one of them, would be young, experienced, fast passing, marking all over the field, totally balanced..imo it would be sth else,of course pato in front and lets not forget dinho or beckhs and marek that could come from the bench,or even rotate the system all season long..
i am not talking fantasy football,i am talking about our team as it is with yoan in..
of course NOT under ancelloti..

well indeed we need a change, but let us face it, there is no one out there and trust me the last thing milan needs is to gamble on a new coach,
in italy there are 3 coaches prandelli, spaletti and genoa's gasperini?
those guys are good domestically but no in europe, they are not comapred to anchelotti not a chance
and to bring a coach never coached in itay is a real gamble. mourinho is a living proof for that.
the only good candidate is guus hiddink but iam not sure about him he did ok agaist italian national team but the league and champions league are different

Its easy to just say "Galliani is Galliani, Carlo is a good coach, bla,bla..." You have never explained something in here. For looking at the facts we dont need forum, we can read papers.
If I can choose a coach for the summer I'd choose Prandelli if its possible. Of course coz Lippi and Cappello are not anailable as they are coaching NT's.

Wikipedia is always right.
Man City are desperate for a 'big name' and i think Ronaldinho is the best they can hope for at this moment.
The question is not if we should sell Ronaldinho, but should be, can Ronaldinho handle not being centre of attention? There are alot of egos in our team and his is obviously taking a battering while he's sat on the bench. I'm not so sure he'll put up with that on a long term basis, which raises the question, do we keep an unhappy player?
I would not keep him if he's going to be disruptive, the team must come first, but it would be unfortunate to sell him. If he does go then i think Suarez of Ajax would be a good replacement. Someone with pace, skill and goal scoring ability, though he's definitely not worth 40 million euros ... try 15. Plus we could throw in Seedorf as part of the deal! It's just a thought.
As for Beckham, sources today say he has a clause in his contract that allows him to leave LA Galaxy for nothing on November 30th. If this is the case, then i don't see why we should spend 30 million euros on him now! It would be good to have him for the remainder of the season, but it's not a necessity. Likewise we wouldn't miss him a great deal for the first couple of months of the new season either.
Money we save on Beckham and possibly get from Ronaldinho can be used on more important transfer targets like Clichy, Alex/Ivanovic, Suarez/Lavezzi/Zarate, Hamsik? Not to mention one or two other smaller squad purchases.
Lastly, does anyone know for sure if we signed Rossi from Parma? The last i read, alot of you in here didn't trust the source that claimed we got him.
I do not go there for that, but I look at it now.

Well I just fumbled upon Sade (120 days) and gave it a read. Creeped my out but interested my terribly. Also watched Salo (quite possibly I did see the art in it.) Wikipedia is very factual and explains complex ideas of philosophy and psychology using monosyllabic words. I don't particularly like it but it's a temporary solution to understanding complexities (if there ever existed a shortcut like that :)).
I would be grateful if you could suggest some good articles and sources to understanding these idea. My knowledge of Nihilism has been limited to Dostoevsky, the Big Lebowski and Wikipedia all of which have left me more desperate than before but never satisfied my hunger for it.

Oh no take my eyes but not seedorf. :D jk
i totally agree with you jim, you cant keep him if he is not happy. Suarez is an amazing player he a quite mix of everything and somehow he is experienced, though he is only 181 cm but his ariel ability is remarkable.
i've noticed in todays game that no matter who you lined in milan will look the same, we are very predictable. we need to change our style. our chance build up is no longer special " give the ball to kaka and he knows what to do", we need to be more like a unit.
we need a new CD, LB, CM , AM in the starting XI if we need to keep this formation
dida shouldg go (very expensive for a bench keeper) maldini and favalli will retire kaladze should go (liverpool once wanted him) as its obvious that thiago is gonna be in the starting XI, emerson is going, ambro should be on the bench, seedorf must definitely go retire at his former club. sheva and senderos send them back to their club and never sign beckham despite hes doing great but need a different kind of player
out: dida, kalac, maldini, favalli, kaladze, senderos, emerson, seedorf, R80, Sheva
in: back up gk, zapata/agger/santacroce, clichy, gourcuff/hamsik, lavezzi/suarez

We need 2 new sub-keepers. Dida & Kalac have to be moved on in the summer.
Why do we need two? I agree Kalac can go, but it won't kill anyone if Dida hangs around for one more season and people need to get over this fixation on his salary, because no one knows how much he's really making for the season now that he's on the bench.
Umm I don't think his salary would change now that he's on the bench...so I'd assume he's making the same amount of money he used to. Which is too much for a bench player.
It seems R80 never going to recover his explosive first step which combined super skill make him so standout. If big money knock the door,It's not a bad idea to let him go and bring back gorky .
Once mattioni prove to be milan first11 caliber,we only need 1 backup CD and 1 striker added to current squad in summer market.Lucio might be a bagain, and a power center with dribble capability like adebayor is an ideal choice.
B32 is a big surprise so far, seems at least get 3 prime years ahead before his game fading away.to secure him is the first priority at the moment, hope it won't cost us 15 mil like here chinese media spread.
