Let's say we exercise the option in April. Real have until end of June of same year to buyback? This can't be right. That 2022 is probably 2023 or something?
That's got to be until 2023.
I read somewhere Milan can cancel that option by paying 19M so overall that would be 40M.

Essentially means if they want him back they seemingly have it set so they can't just recall him, they would need to "Buy" him back from us and only lose a small amount.
It's a weird setup although won't complain as it's in our favour
Pedulla:
The Milan has now finalized the renewal of Sandro Tonali and wants to take two specialists in the final third, provided that the attacker remains Giroud 's first choice. The dream for the right wing is Berardi , at the moment there are no negotiations but we will see later.
On Tadic , Ajax explained, they believe he cannot be sold. There is a strong approval for Sabitzer , considered technical, modern and universal, one more year of contract with Leipzig. In the dialogue with Real, the speeches for Ceballos can be deepened .
And Kamara Moncada, in charge of the observers, really likes it, and it would be the best way to manage the waiting times related to Kessie and the expiring contract. We remember that Kamara is on the list of a couple of English clubs and that Lazio also like it .

But he can't be officially registered as a Milan player earlier than June 30, even if we tell Real in April that we want him. That's my understanding of loans (option or otherwise) any way.
So far :
In : Maignan 15M
Tomori 27M
Tonali 7M
Out : Laxalt 5M (approx)
Silva (5M approx due to clause)
*We have also saved a lot on the Donnarumma Brothers leaving.
I think next we definitely try to seal a Diaz deal then I expect we try to sell before picking up some players toward the end of the Mercato.
Several outlets suggest we're definitely interested in Kaio Jorge . we're competing against Juventus, Napoli and some EPL clubs. In January he would be free otherwise if a team tries to take him now it's 6-7M.

If it's after mid season then sure. But if Real decide they want him back mid season then we can activate the clause and they can "buy back". it would be no different if he was there and we bought him vs being on loan and we bought him.
That being said, it woujld look good on the books for Real if that goes through. They would have sold a player for 25m total. and bought the player for 30m. except the 30m doesn't go into the book this year. it's spread over the contract term. say he signs for 5 years on a 4m a year deal. then he's "cost" real 3.8m for the half season he's there which means they make a 26.2m profit on the books

I wouldn't be surprised if we also see Dalot return on loan with option. Not sure there are any buyers for him.

lets face it. with all the Interest it would cost us the 6-7m anyway. whatever we save on a fee we'll liekkly spend on agent fees or extra wages with the extra competition.
Not so sure Kaio is worth it.
I'm not super optimistic about these rumors that Tadic is almost a done deal. He's a quality player but 32 years old isn't necessarily in line with anything long term. I know we probably do want a bit more experience in our squad, especially for CL, but we also need to think long term goals & ambitions. If the hope is to simply continue qualifying for CL and bringing in that revenue & eventually selling the club fine, but if we want to build a real project & go back to lifting the CL trophy I think there needs to be some type of clear vision.
While Pioli did bring us back into champions league, I'm very pessimistic that keeping him as the coach will not be long lived. It also gives me cautious optimism with regards to our future project as I was saying above. I think a good project always starts with a good coach who has a clear vision, a real system and tactics that require specific players. Pioli does not strike me as a tactician or someone who will get us lifting CL but I could be proven wrong. Let's see.
Also no thank you on Kaio
Kudos to Maldini & co meanwhile as getting Tonali for this price was good business. I'm not sure how good Olzer was but we can scout someone else with promise for our youth team to replace him.
