I wouldn't get Koulibaly over Tomori. If we could work it that we give them Roma + $$ and sign Tomori also then we'd be set. 
other than that I'd look to the future and stick with Tomori. 


Van de Beek would be good. Potentially better than Hakan but that's a low bar.

I was surprised that van de Beek didn't get much chance at United. It was a highly anticipated transfer when it happened. I have a United fan friend who regards him very highly. He (my friend) is knowledgeable and reasonable, so I take his words seriously. I am not sure there is any rumor linking him to us though. Maybe soon (after those "journalists" browses our forum for ideas).

I noticed the different currency units, and couldn't bother to go back to check the conversion rate at the time of happening. Still, this was a bad deal, especially considering that we bought Bacca at €40m, and he was still an effective attacker. I think you may be right in that Samu may not have been a player that we truly wanted.

Regarding our CB, Koulibaly is certainly a mouth-watering choice, but it may be out of our budget and who knows he may disrupt our chemistry and continuity. I am still upset that we ever signed that mofo Bonucci. I actually would like to keep the current set, that is Kjaer, Tomori, Romagnoli, fighting for 2 starting seats; Gabbia as a 4th (that could change) and Kalulu as a utility player for CB and RB. As long as Romagnoli doesn't grow the crazy idea that he deserves a pay raise, I would love to keep him. Now that he has competition, he may finally be motivated to make the leap of quality.
