Im convinced he just wanted to win the champions league with a team of 17-21 year olds , just so he could say now im the special one i can win with kids....that or he has kinky sh1t going on with boys.....either way D.I.L.I.G.A.F

Everyone wants to harp on too young to win. It's not that IMO.

I don't think it's about age for arsenal. It's lack of defense.

A team led by fabregas with Van Persie, Arshavin, Nasri, etc.... song and Diaby came on in midfield is more than good enough.

But that backline is terrible (and DONT GET ME STARTED ON GK) I'm pretty sure that midfield and attack + Chelsea backline would have a) won EPL by now and b) been a serious UCL challenger

seriously, do you think clichy, Vermaelen, Gallas and Sagna are THAT bad?
IMO its not the worst.

I think they lack a good GK and a Defensive monster in midfield, + they lack experience and they cant do it without fab and van persie.

the way they play is. Vermaelen is really bad TBH. Probably easiest defender to expose in space. Gallas is a shell of his chelsea form.

They allow 3 or 4 to every decent team... chelsea, city, united etc.

Vermaelen was one of the best defenders in the Premier league last season, He's even in the team of the season. + was named arsenal player of the month 3/4 times. strange to hear someone say he is really bad, youre the first one.
I've watched 90% of Arsenals games last season and IMO he did more than OK.

Agnielli back at Juve was the worst thing that can happen to Milan. Next week negotiations between Juve and Hernanes will go on and Hernanes to Juve is very much possible. He was monitored by Milan but only if Pirlo was sold etc. Tuttomercatoweb.com.

How come Juve and all the other big clubs have no problems selling their players they dont want anymore. Juve will now sell Grosso, Thiago, Iaquinta, Diego, Melo etc., etc. And we when once buy a player wait untill he almost dies from heart attack or his contract needs to expire. Sell them and that is it. "You are going to be sold, its over. Thank you Kaladze, Oddo, Marek." WTF do they think they are? Sitting on the bench and training at Milanello for 3-4 mln per year... I would also refuse the transfer, but it doesnt go that way!

Galliani is again talking **** how italian clubs will die if we dont get our stadiums bla, bla... Morratti with bunch of money and Juve also.

We cannot finish Allegri deal and Agnielli says how they have been working hard on mercato for months and will do so untill the end.

Anyway, this is a circus and a mockey. Shut up and sign a player and that is it. Galliani works like a spoiled rich kid. When the money is gone now we can see what kind of **** director he is and how he looses money for nothing. Go work in Madrid.

i watch alot fo arsenal too, his defending is not good...

vermanelen started hot cause he scored some goals. I was high on him too, but repeatedly seeing hmim allow goals is his offense worth it?

Think it's as much about Arsene Wenger as a tactician. He's very naive, which could be seen mostly against Barcelona, where he decided to go with a plan and a lineup expecting to dominate possession, when it clearly wasn't realistic. Sometimes he simply needs to be more cynical, and take an realistic approach instead of playing every game with the same plan. Pep Guardiola has learned this, and when he needs to he does take a more cynical approach (Away @ Real Madrid is an example) and he has much better attacking players than Wenger.

Don't necessarely think that Vermaelen is the problem though, it's hard to argue with the ZM article, it's obvious to anyone, but he's not the only one in Arsenal's defense that keeps making rookie mistakes. Just think about how good Gallas looked @ Chelsea and how mediocre he looks now. I just think they need a good organiser to straighten them out, cause it almost doesn't matter how much talent you have in defense if they aren't organised. Real Madrid's the perfect example of this making Cannavaro and Samuel look ordinary.

It would be nice if we could buy Otamendi. I would be eagerly watching him during the WC. But its hard to say what are Milans mercato plans. Who exactly are we looking?? A striker, a defender or a midfielder??? Guess it all surface once Allegri is officially announced as coach. And besides the WC will give all the clubs a chance to decide on who they really want.

Some interesting news today. Moggi is convinced Milan will do something big in the market. Despite his obvious flaws, the man knows football, so if he expects Milan to do something, then I won't be surprised if we get some interesting transfers.

Cellino (Cagliari president) has admitted he's forcing Allegri to see out his contract. The reason is pride and he's apparently angry at Allegri for losing focus on Cagliari during his time there.

During all the current week, there were almost only bad rumours: this player linked with Juventus, this one with Inter, him with Real, etc ...

And today, only good rumours:
- we would have joined the race for Bonucci (http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/milan/?action=read&idnotizia=26982)
- Antonelli, a LB coming from our Primavera and playing in Parma, could come back (with Paloschi staying in Parma one more year), I never rated him so high but he did a good season. Luca Antonelli could be a good backup for Luca Antonini (http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/milan/?action=read&idtmw=212327).
- City still wanting Ronaldinho (http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/milan/?action=read&idtmw=212339 ; yes, IMO, it's a good rumour, as if we sell him and as we don't tend to buy wingers by looking at the names of the players we're linked with, that would mean we would stop this 4-3-3, so we would use some of our players properly and would get more money than expected from the sale of Ronaldinho as MC overpay on the mercato ... the only problem is the quote of Pato saying he stays by hoping that Ronaldinho will also stay).

Let's wait the end of the WC for Italy (Bonucci), Brazil (actually, we're not linked with any NT player ?), Netherlands (what will happen with Huntelaar ?) and Argentina (Otamendi) and we will probably know if something "big" can really be expected or not ...

Oh yes, I forgot, it's not a rumour, it's pure truth: the WC starts today !! :D

Can't believe Cellino would pay Allegri wages for a year just to spite him. How ungrateful considering that Allegri's taken Cagliari from relegation battles to midtable. Also surely players like Matri and Astori wouldn't go to Cagliari in the future if they did something like this.

He wouldn't and he won't ... He just tries to take some profit from this situation. Even if Cagliari and Milan say they have a great relationship, Cellino "controls" us since we decided that our next coach would be Allegri.

You read it: a mid-table team managed to find a way to control us for some weeks ... If Cellino deals well with this situation, Cagliari could be the big winner of our choice to take Allegri. Oh, and if I were Galliani, I'd say to Cellino that we give him 100% of Kaladze, Oddo, Jankulovski and our 50% of Astori if he allows Allegri to sign in Milan right now.

About the ungrateful thing, it seems Cellino thinks the bad results of Cagliari (I don't remember, they started in January, February ?) are the consequence of Allegri's behaviour ... I don't know what happened between them, but it looks like they're not very friends (if I understand well, it's because of what said Allegri several times when he was linked with all the top clubs of Serie A in medias, he never said "no", it's even the contrary, he opened the door).

Mancini was here only on loan right? We only paid for a loan and his half-season salary, and if I remember correctly, if we wanted, we could pay a fixed amount for his half ownership; which means, if we wanted to have him in whole, we then would still need to bid against Inter for the that.

That sounds like a lot of trouble to "keep" him. Wouldn't that be easy to just send him back? Sometimes I don't understand what Galliani is up to. :5horse:

True, but I tend to listen to Moggi more than many others. Latest news says Berlu has said that we sell first, and only then buy. Biggest problem is we're having trouble getting rid of Kala, Janku and Oddo.

You're on the mark there. He was got on loan and quite frankly, I have no doubt he should not be kept on a permanent basis, it would be a terrible decision (I'd rather give his position in the squad to Verdi than keep him).

Rumors today that Braida has offered 27 year old right back Francois Clerc a 3 year contract with a salary of less than 1m per season. Even though he is cheap and free, this player is not a good addition. He's not the type of player we need, not even as a sub. We should have tried for Motta (Roma). What happened to Mario Fernandes, Van der Wiel, Jucilei and all those players we were linked with?

Other rumors from skysport claim that Gattuso will join Cannavaro (Trez & Lippi included) at Al Ahli in Dubai. Now that would be a good move as we would free one more useless player from an expensive contract. Hopefully this could open the door to Jucilei. There's also a rumor that City is offering 15mil for Ronaldinho and a 9mil per year contract. I would refuse it and ask for 20m.

Moratti wants to sacrifice at least one player from his team, most likely Maicon. Inter are already shaping up the Benitez way and I can see them being so pathetic. Inter should have kept on to their squad. As much as I'd like to see Inter crumble in Italy, we need them badly in Europe especially next year as we need to get 5 more points than Germany on average to keep our 4th CL spot.

We should hope that teams like Palermo, Juve, Samp, Roma and Napoli not disgrace Italy in Europe as they have been accustomed to in recent years. I believe in Napoli but not the rest.

In this story with Allegri, Milan and Cagliari, there is a man coming back as a rumour: Leonardo.

Actually, like Cagliari with Allegri, Leonardo is still under contract and they wait to have a replacement before breaking it and allowing Leo to come back in Brazil ... It looks like they do that to have a way to put some kind of pressure on Cellino: if he asks for too much or if he really intends to keep Allegri (which he won't do anyway), Leonardo could be sent back on our bench until the end of his contract.

It's the rumour of the day.

Milan Patron Silvio Berlusconi Tells Adriano Galliani To Raise Transfer Funds By Selling Players - Report

Players need to be sold before new ones arrive...
By Salvatore Landolina

Jun 12, 2010 10:10:00 AM

Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi has sent a transfer mandate to CEO Adriano Galliani reminding him that equity needs to be raised from player sales before the club invests in new transfers.

Telelombardia reports that Berlusconi spoke to Galliani over the phone this week, telling him to have a rethink before making heavy investments.

With the transfer budget slashed in line with new spending policies, Galliani has little to play with.

Berlusconi wants fringe players on high wages ousted from the club and he hopes Galliani can bring the wage bill down across the squad. It currently stands at €86 million per annum.

Kahka Kaladze, Marek Jankulovski and Massimo Oddo are all unlikely to be offered new deals as part of planned cuts.

Even Ronaldinho's future is uncertain. He seems unwilling to take a pay cut, leaving the door open for a move to Manchester City.

I AGREE OUT WITH THE OLD IN WITH THE NEW!

I think that is probably our problem with money.

too many players have been here too long, their wages have inmcremently increased as part of their deals and when they've got new contracts they've probably got pay raises too.

all this means is we have loads of players on astronomical wages that aren't doing much. I shudder to think what Seedorf is on.

Is he free agent? Actually I wouldn't mind him as he's nice player from what I've seen through his period at Lyon... Even featured for France as I can recall... It would be good move, small salary, better than Jankulovski and certainly younger than Oddo... And at least he is fullback comparing to Abate...

Anyway, I would welcome this move... He can be decent backup, but we also need starter, offloading Zambro and bringing Van der Wiel as starter and Clerc as backup would be pretty nice job, if you ask me...

Fabiano is by far the best striker on the market. For Brazil he's one of the best strikers in the world. He's had injury problems with Sevilla, but he still always managed to score goals. Check his scoring record for Brazil it's fenomonal.

He's currently much better than Dzeko, and certainly better than Huntelaar as well, obviously Dzeko would be the better solution long term, but if we're looking for someone who's gonna be good now, then Fabiano is the best option. To bad we didn't buy him a couple of years ago, he could've been an absolute legend for Milan.

Thing is, we MUST NOT look for someone who's going to be good NOW, we need someone who will be great in future, and good now... As much as I like Fabiano type forward, I wouldn't get him this summer.

We must not make these transfers (30+ players) anymore, because if we don't want to totally colapse we need young fresh blood, old up to 26 years max.

Many people think we should buy someone to UPGRADE team, but reality is we need to build it from the bottom. We don't have recognizable play anymore so we could afford to buy one-two players just to fulfill that, we need new ideas and try to smartly get players who will be dictating our play in several years...

Making mistakes like letting Krasic, Gourcuff, Dzeko and several others go to other teams makes this management completely incompetent...

Yepes is a far better player than Gallas nowadays ...

Milan linked with a young French attacker called Kevin Gabiero (his clause is 15m euro)

It's Kevin Gameiro from Lorient ... A young and very fast striker (but also a small size player). He did a very good season in Lorient. My question about him is to know if it's thanks to the way Lorient plays (they have decent players, but they play well together thanks to the tactics of Gourcuff, they are always moving, a bit like Lille, these both teams are the most interesting ones tactically, so is Gameiro one of these decent players or is he the one outstanding in the team ?).

EDIT: Just saw the article on TMW ... they don't say we're linked with him but the contrary actually. They report we don't want him anymore.

As good as he could be (or not) for us, it's just another very injury prone player ... and like I don't rate him that high, decent player + very injury prone = I hope it's just a rumour !!

Asamoah of Udinese, a player who I know was popular last year (nefremo I remember likes him too) really impressed me today for Ghana, in a role he's not normally used for.

He's been a little under the radar this season, but I think if we don't get Jucilei he is just as good an alternative for us. A superb player who plays with great maturity, is strong in the tackle, yet technically gifted and good at dominating play (I don't remember him losing a ball today). Oh, and he's just 21.

When I think about it, I'm amazed he's not been mentioned here more often (by me or anyone) as a possibility, though like with Jucilei in Brazil, it's easy to miss him as his role isn't one which often grabs headlines.

I don't think England were particularly bad besides Green's mistake yesterday. It's a decent side and with a little work from Capello, it could win the world cup. Bear in mind what I say is not as an England fan, as I'm neutral.

I totally agree on Asamoah...i had the chance to watch a lot of Udinese in 2008-2009 and he was really impressive and even more so when i found out how old he was..however, i haven't seen a lot of him this year.

seems we've signed blasi for free which is not a bad deal as we need back-up for flamini after Gattuso goes to UAE hopefully :)

and i'm very hopeful that Kaladze, Oddo, & Jankulovski will leave too even if it doesn't seem so for now, but knowing that they are linked means we are ready to sell them at last which means some crazy club will come with enough money.

hoenstly, just like mrki, i did not imagine we could get rid of dida, favalli, gattuso, oddo, kala, & janku all in one mercato, but doing that would make it a successful mercato even if we sign no one to replace them.

and yes i'll take Yepes over Gallas any time

Rumors for today:

Albertazzi to Siena on loan
Blasi - Milan agreement found and the player should sign for 2 years (Ambro + Flam + Gattuso AND Blasi? What about Jucilei for 6m euro?! Does this mean management fked up again and picked 30 yr old Blasi who is free and crap over a player like Jucilei?)
Allegri only a few days away from Milan
Milan linked with Nigerian goal keeper, plays for Tel Aviv, his price should be 2m euro. His performance reminded me of a young Buffon, however he will cost us a Non-EU spot.
Storari renews till 2013
Roberto Mancini doesnt want R80 at City but their management does
Gattuso could leave Milan to Dubai

Krasic was nowhere to be seen, one game is not enough to judge a player but nothing he did today didn`t prove the 20 mil Cska is asking. On the other hand the Jovanovic played great,....he was free, Liverpool got him. We were seriously intersted but nobody in here didn`t want him, including me. :hammer:

I thought Krasic was bad too. He worked hard yes, run a lot....but it's not just all about running. At times I felt like he was needlesly running. Doubling up with other players plenty of time. Going to places where he really didn't need to go.

This doesn't mean that he is a bad player. It was one game. But he didn't do good today in my opinion.

Dev, you are right. I do like Asamoah. And the one thing that i think we learned about him now is that he is versitile. He can do many things on the field. Too bad our menagement overlooks solid players like that, that can be signed for not a lot of money. Yet we go for others that are clearly past it.

Krasic was very bad based on the hype he got in the last weeks. He did move a lot but created nothing, he had one good possibility to shoot on the goal but he only managed to shoot straight at the keeper. Very weak, jovanovic on the left side was better yesterday.

Still, we should not judge a player after one game in which the whole team was horrible.

not just krasic
but the serbia team playing a bad tactic
with the kind of player they have and they still playing football this type
its not suitable to their player imo
just long balls to the front from the back
its like seeing serbia playing only with forward and defenders
there is no midfield there
though lukovic and jovanovic stands out in the game for serbia in my eyes

He is their most hyped player, He ran a lot(and that is due to 10 man behind the ball tactics.) , he had some crosses at the end but that is when they were one goal down, and were chasing result.but he lost so much balls, too much I`d say.

He had a clear shot on goal, but the keeper didn`t pull a super save, Krasic shot straight to him, when he had all the time in the world to decide which corner to shot.

Even though it is on goal.com, but I could not help myself to think that if Gouch continues to play like he did against England, there is a good chance that Berlu will sell T.Silva to ManCity for 30mil as he thinks Nesta, GOuch, Yepes and Bonera are good enough for Milan.

Allegri to shake-up AC Milan midfield with Pirlo, Ambrosini threat
14.06.10 | tribalfootball.com

Incoming AC Milan coach Massimiliano Allegri has discussed an overhaul of the team's midfield with club chiefs.

Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani knows Allegri wants more focus on Mathieu Flamini and will freeze out one of Andrea Pirlo or captain Massimo Ambrosini from next season's midfield. Rino Gattuso's future is also in focus.

Allegri wants his midfield to be more robust and has discussed moving for his former Cagliari midfielder Andrea Lazzari with Galliani.

Talks with Palermo for Manuele Blasi are also at an advanced stage as Allegri seeks to inject some energy and steel to his engineroom for next season.

If Lazzari and Blasi come, and if Flamini becomes a sure starter, I hope they will keep Pirlo ... and Ambro deserves at least one last year in Milan after this season.

Dev, you are right. I do like Asamoah. And the one thing that i think we learned about him now is that he is versitile. He can do many things on the field. Too bad our menagement overlooks solid players like that, that can be signed for not a lot of money. Yet we go for others that are clearly past it.

I hope this Blasi rummor us just that. I really don't see what he would do in Milan.

Asamoah is versatile, but his strength is his box to box ability, which is how he's used for Udinese, and essentially the type of midfielder we need right now. What really impresses me about him is his maturity. He plays incredibly smartly and is a bit like Pirlo in the way he makes space for himself and doesn't let opponents press him. For me yesterday he showed, more than anything else, that he has a great footballing brain.

If Lazzari and Blasi come, and if Flamini becomes a sure starter, I hope they will keep Pirlo ... and Ambro deserves at least one last year in Milan after this season.
For Gattuso, maybe it's time to go for him, rumours are about Lippi and Cannavaro both going to Dubai, so why not Gattuso going there with them ?

I'm sure Blasi won't come, his agent already denied any rumours and even our management must surely see he's not the player we need.

I think Gattuso doesn't really have much place in the current Milan squad, and agree with you it's not a big loss if he were to go to Dubai. I also think both Pirlo and Ambro should remain in Milan, but to be used much less given their age now.

I already mentioned above about wanting Jucilei or Asamoah, both of whom would take Ambro's spot in the team. However, both are also young, so having an experienced Ambro available will be beneficial.

It's the same with Pirlo. He's a great player and still incredibly important. However, we need an alternative for him as we can't rely on him all the time. Ganso of Santos is one who I'd see as a replacement for Pirlo (even if he plays a little higher up the pitch), given his technical ability, passing range and vision. However, as with Ambro, having an experienced Pirlo in the squad would benefit the youngster who eventually takes over his role.

The problem is funding for these players. To get one of Jucilei or Asamoah is a priority for me and with our given budget it should be possible. However, I think we still need a defender (fullback ideally) and Ganso. The defender may be quite difficult, but again we should realistically be able to scrape enough to get the money for a half decent one (i.e. someone like Cristico or Bocchetti).

The big problem is getting Ganso, who's not cheap. 25m is the asking price and I can't imagine him leaving for less than 15m. That means we need a high profile sale like Dinho to get him. The problem though is that Ganso isn't really suited to replace Dinho in his current role. Therefore, if Ganso was gotten by selling Dinho, we'd need another player to replace Dinho.

I agree with you, we need to keep some of our experienced players ... the best ones if possible of course !! :D
Aren't the best teams in the history always set up with a mix between young and promising players and more experienced ones ?

I don't mind having Pirlo playing 50 games a year if around him, he has 2 players who are always able to run for 90 minutes (allowing Pirlo to manage his efforts during the games) ... I don't mind seeing Seedorf playing 25-30 minutes in each game if it is needed ... I don't mind seeing Nesta as our main CD if he has a proper replacement on the bench (and good rotation from the coach) ... etc.

If we can get rid of Kaladze (Dynamo Kiev tries to get him, Sheva is his best friend, so ... who knows ? Even if we sell him for 500K, it will be a winning situation for us), Oddo (Lazio seems a possible destination, we should allow him to join his former club even for free), Jankulovski (more difficult because the guy seems to only want Milan or a club in his country), and if we sell Gattuso (if it is in Dubai, and given the relationship we established with this place, we can maybe sell him at a good price, 10M would be good IMO) and another player (I'd tend to still say Ronaldinho), we would have some money to spend ... and let's not forget that Berlusconi will do us a "gift" this summer :D (what, you think I'm in a dreaming world ?!).

Yesterday's game, for me, showed what I've been wanting to say about Krasic. I think he's supremely overrated. In fact, that was the most I've seen him run in a game, and I actually have decided to watch him since January.

Watching him in the CL, not just against Inter, but against Sevilla, I saw a player who would infuriate everyone here, including myself. He does not have a particularly good work rate and he really phases in and out of games. Honestly, against Sevilla, I could not fathom how anyone who wants a faster, harder working team would want him in the side.

However, Krasic is not the biggest thing, as I don't think he will come to Milan anyways. For me, Montolivo's performance today was something that Milan should look at. I missed the first half, and only watched the second, and from what I saw, I think Montolivo really has matured immensely. Part of the problem for Italy was placing Marchisio as the center midfielder in the 3 part of the 4-2-3-1, that position should be Montolivo's, not Marchisio.

The 4-2-3-1 that is being used by Lippi is a problem mostly because of the players he is relying upon, and it reminds me of Italy in Euro 2004.

Marchisio should be playing next to De Rossi with Montolivo playing further up. Even if Pirlo was fit, I would want this change. I just don't understand how people are slating Montolivo's performance. Today's Italy game illustrated the poor attack that Lippi brought to the WC. Pepe might have been hard working, but he clearly is missing a bit of class, and don't get me started on Iaquinta.

This was a game where Borriello would have been the best choice for Italy, honestly. The point of all this, anyways, is to underline how Montolivo might be the best choice for us in our search for a new midfielder. If Jucilei or Ganso is between 15-25 million, I would rather put a little less money in Montolivo and use the rest on a full back. At 25 he is at the right age in his career to make that next step, I really think he can be a great player at Milan.

I agree with some of the stuff you said Samaldinho. I also don't think that Montolivo played bad. As a matter of fact I think that Marchisio was the one that wasn't having a good game. Partly because he can't be a playmaker. He has good skills and a decent vision but he can't be a playmaker. He is much better as a box-to-box type of modfielder so I agree that swapping him and Montolivo in this formation would work much better.

However I disagree about the Pirlo part. When Pirlo is ready he should be immediately put in this squad because if anything, today's game proved how important Pirlo is to this Italy.

Also.....Van Der Wiel impressed me today. I was a little unsure of his defensive ability, but I feel a little better about that after today. I think he did very well. And by the way...if there is a player out there that he resembles (don't want to make comparisons and am not saying that he is there yet but..) in my opinion it is Maicon. Van Der Wiel reminds me of him so much when going forward.

Elia also impressed for the Dutch in the short time he was on the field. The game changed when he came in, even though it was mostly tactical and not plain individual effort from Elia. He simply followed instructions and kept the team's shape by staying wide and staying out of Sneijder's way. (something Van Der Vaart didn't do) But in any case, Elia seems to be a very interesting player. Let's see how he'll do in the other opportunities he gets.

But this kind of transfer policy should mean we needn't sell players like Silva or Pato in the future. If that happens in combination with this discrete transfer policy, that would really piss me off.

Also, I understand what you are saying about Krasic. I agree with you about the opening up of space for others and the movement. I actually appreciate a players' off-ball work just as much as you do, believe me. And it's true that Krasic did a lot of that. But also as I said earlier, I feel like at times he tried to do too much of that. he doubled up with players all the time. Went to places where he didn't need to go. IMO he just didn't have a good game and didn't play as good as I've seen him play with his club. But again, he is not a bad player. I don't think anyone is saying that.....but just that he didn't have a good game.

To me it seemed like he was akward as a traditional RM as he seemed to be in that game. CSKA plays him in a slightly different role and gives him a bit more freedom. He is a good player nonetheless so let's see how he does in the next game.

€ 5 millions ia a ridiculously huge amount of money for a relatively unknown 15 year old youngster. Besides, it's his own president that dubs him as a new Baggio. Sounds like marketing gimmick to me.

5M is too much.

He's only 15yo, he can turn to be nothing, the best players at 15 are not always the best players at 18 and later ...

We have no real budget for moment and we would spend that much money on a young talent going to play with the Primavera for at least 2 years before eventually make it to the first team ?!

We don't know anything about him, he probably only played with the youth teams (someone can confirm that ?), the hype about this player seems to come from his president who said he was the new Baggio. It's like saying that Zigoni is the new Toni, Verdi the new Cassano, etc. At this age, that doesn't mean anything.

So I'm all against this deal as you probably understood it !! :D

A report on TMW is about Lazio giving up with Oddo because he asks too much money, but some Spanish clubs would be interested.

- Criscito was the worst Italy player and i can't see why anyone would be asking to sign him ahead of Antonini...i was expecting Maggio to come in and Zambrotta to go to the left all night long...hopefully next match
- Montolivo did improve hugely after the break and i'm not sure but it might be because Marchisio went out and he had a bit more freedom to go forward
- Simone Pepe might not be CR9 but i was impressed with his work rate and desire and willigness to run at defenders which is something Italy is desperately lacking
- Cannavaro was not as bad as people are saying...i think Chiellini was the guy who disappointed
- Overall, i was actually expecting a worse performance from Italy...

Getting back to Milan Summer 2010 Mercato....

I think we can get a better idea after the WC what the prices of certain players will be, and how they can fit in the system. What is the system that we will use? will we continue with this sort of 4-3-3.. is that the only system that can be played if you have Ronaldinho in the lineup?

I think Ronaldinho is great but he's similar to Messi in that they cannot adapt to systems other than Barcelona's. For instance, they are not ideal in a 4-4-2 or a 4-3-1-2...correct?

if that's the case they I think Milan should apply a 4-2-3-1 system and this is my preferred lineup

------------------------Edin Dzeko------------------------------------
--------Ronaldinho-----Diego--------Pato--------------------------
------------------Pirlo-----Flamini/Ambrosini------------------
----Michel Bastos---T. Silva....Nesta...Antonini/Zambrotta
---------------------Federico Marchetti---------------------------------

I'd also sell Dida, Oddo, Kaladze, Gattuso, Seedorf
Promote some younger players.....

Subs: Rannochia/Bonucci, Ambrosini, Borriello, Inzaghi (1 more year), Huntelaar, Abbiati, Zambrotta,

* I'd love RObinho too but no sense to have him if you're going to keep ROnaldinho...
* Diego might be available from Juventus... if not Diego, another playmaker in the middle of the park.. In my opinion, Pirlo is almost finished....in that case, 2 defensive midfielders..and then an attacking midfielder... perhaps bring Kaka back??
* maybe Hamsik??

From wat I've heard, galliani has made it clear that the Parma deal with Paloschi will not happen again.... Either he will be sold outright or bought back.

Although Paloschi hasn't exactly set the world on fire this season (injuries...) me thinks we will be scared off by wat Parma wants for us to get him back and let them have him. On the other hand, Galliani's incessant rant about youth (and someone said he prefers the Primavera over Serie A or CHampions league next season!) suggests we will try everything to get him back....:hmmm:

I'm interested in this rumour. At 15 he's hard to judge, but none of us know anything about him, so I will wait to find out more about him before I make my judgement. Pato at 17 was 22m and at 16 Lukaku is 10-15m. 5m may sound high, but if he's really good then it may not be over the top.

I think it's more a way to put pressure on Cellino ... and it seems Cellino postponed again his comeback in Europe and decided not to answer anymore to the calls of Galliani. If he wanted to destroy a good relationship, he found the good way to do it quickly.

I think we will know more this W-E.

About Leo, it would be a second chance, but in what conditions ?! Would he be motivated ? Would the players still follow him ? How would Berlu react ?

By calling back Leo, there would be too many questions about our future ... so I hope we won't need to call him back as our coach.

A rumour is becoming bigger and bigger each day: we would trade our old Huntelaar to get the young Klose ...

The most stupid move IMO.

Today, on TMW, they report we are ok with this trade but only if Bayern gives us 10M with Klose.

It's a way to get money and replace a player by another one, but Klose today isn't worth taking the place of Huntelaar.
If we really don't want Huntelaar anymore, we should try to sell him without any trade. Who knows, if he plays one or two games in this WC, plays well and scores, we could try to sell him 20M for example ...

10m is too much for Pedro Leon, way too much (considering our situation). Milan would never pay that much for anyone...maybe for Messi he'll consider the 10mil :D

Jucilei was yesterday being linked with Napoli and his agent has confirmed that he likes Napoli's interest but there's nothing concrete from them.

Raiola (agent of Ibra, Balotelli) was spotted in Milan and had a meeting with Galliani. Galliani said that they have met but did not talk about Ibra or Pato, but an interesting young player. The rest of the websites are reporting that Milan are wrapping up the deal for 16-year-old Brazilian Rodrigo Ely (a defender). Raiola is also the agent of this player. Any one know if he has an EU passport? Cause if he doesn't, I would be so pissed.

Jay Crisp
17-06-2010, 09:22
Didnt we start watching him in January and he trained with Primavera in Feb , I think we discussed him back then and he doesnt have an EU passport....I think.

With the WC on all mercato action is slow as the players are busy...so no real movement. But we are not even linked to anyone well linked with some solid information , I must say that this Klose Hunter swap has to be a joke and awful awful move and I do not believe it I refuse to believe it.
Even with the 10 million and Klose I wouldnt go for it , as the 10 million may do a Houdini and vanish , also what happened to the 20/30 million we had to spend that Galli and Braida mentioned in May ???

Suddenly we have to sell to buy or was it just sell to free up space IDK.

Allegri is our manager good for him hope it works out , he will need to have some sort of budget to have a chance of success .He's only taken over and we'll most likely have to wait until half way through July for anything to happen and he'll only have 3 or 4 weeks with players on holiday from the world cup.
Im really not expecting anything from this season unless Janku Oddo Kala Zambro Rino are gone and replaced by 3 good signings and 2 or 3 from primavera.I expect the likes of Oddo Kala Janku to see out there contracts happily doing nothing and getting paid for it.

But really Milan make enough money to be able to spend at least 30 million on this mercato maybe even 50 - 60 with sales and wage savings , it baffles me alot but whatever ....I have no faith in this MGT or there spend nothing mentality which is where we are at , I could be wrong but I doubt it this year and maybe next year.

No way ... :D

I'd like to know something: yes, Enyeama did two good games, even two excellent games (one single mistake costing Nigeria a goal, but he's not the first one nor will be the last one to do some mistake in this WC, and the red card is probably more important than this mistake, and where were the defenders after this mistake ?), but has someone some informations, statistics, about him in his club ?

Because even in his bad periods, Dida managed to do some amazing games here and there (the problem was just that he was able to concede stupid goals the game just after), so actually, what is important is how good or bad he's been during a whole season.

So if someone watches the games of Apoel Tel Aviv ...

hitman...the football gods have punished you for saying he was playing better then Buffon EVER did!

But I agree that he's done great in the first two games. It was a mistake by him on the second goal and he could have delt with it better.....but hey, there's always the Jabulani to blame it on! :D

shevchenko that season actually took up a non eu spot the another went to viudez cardacio has a italian passport, on reflection i would agree it kept thiago silva out of the team gods knows how 08/09 could have been different if we had silva playing instead of maldini or favalli at cb. As for adiyiah well he is cheap and showed some promise i would have preferred andre ayew but we went for adiyiah instead still he was within milan transfer budget which is after the most telling factor. as for hernanes the most mediocre Brazilian player i have watch in a long time none of the clubs seem particularly interested in him reported to be valued at 18 million euros i am not surprised besides he would have only been purchased if milan had sold pirlo.

In reference to the non eu spots well i have had a change of heart jucilie has easily been one of the most consistent players for Corinthians this season his general level of energy ability to hold up the ball and relatively low price tag of 6-10 million euros makes him a great purchase. The another spot would have to go to otamendi i just hope he plays very little football this world cup so his price tag will not be overly inflated even with a small transfer budget you would like 7-9 million euros for a fullback/cb is affordable. I would like milan to get ayew but to be honest hopefully with verdi promotion we wouldn't need ayew

I would spend my non-eu spots on Jucilei (8m euro) and Robinho (I think he has Spanish passport too..). If we have no chance for Robinho, I'd give it to Ganso, if we give up on him we must take Enyeama (his price will be less than 5m euro), and he's 28, and it doesnt matter how bad he was in his career, the last two games shows you that he is capable of being alert for the entire game and can single handedly keep a team in the game. We must look into Enyeama especially as we don't have a really world class GK (we haven't for a couple of years now).

I don't know about Enyeama, I've seen him in two games and in one of them he was fantastic, the other he cost his team the game. Who does that sound like?

Not gonna write him of cause I just haven't seen him enough, but I just don't think you can use this WC as a reason to get him. Would much rather have a look at Benaglio, he might not have made as many wonder saves against Spain as Enyeama did against Argentina, but he looked much more secure. Didn't drop a single ball, was dominating in the air and really looked like he had everything under control. He's also apparently half Italian :)

If Allegri wants to play 4-3-1-2 like in Cagliari, and I REALLY hope that will be the case, Ronaldinho is surplus, so it's worth the risk to sell him. Only if Allegri could persuade Berlu to do that. If Ronaldinho would go, it would mean Allegri clearly knows what he wants (unlike Leonardo last season), and it would be a great sign.

Oezil is FANTASTIC fit for trequartista position in 4-3-1-2, he's exactly what Allegri wants from a player on that position. That is, to have movement, to go to the side, to act as a center forward sometimes, in other words to make cohesion with two forwards... Pastore would be great also. Money from Ronaldinho should be enough for either of the two.

I will repeat what I wrote many times here, we must take risk by selling older stars for which we can take money to improve our team. Now it's the right time to sell Ronaldinho just like it was the right time to sell Pirlo two years ago.

I think so, he is the best option for AMC now. We really need him. IMO, we need a AMC the most, not SC or FB.

I agree with you. With limited budget and big-money needed to rebuild a team, selling almost-30 stars will help a lot (of course not all stars). Gattuso, Pirlo (this player I am not so sure) are the examples.

The team would also be more balanced with this formation (and even more balanced without Ronaldinho) ...

And it's the year for Pato to explode at the highest level ... as a striker !! If that happens, we'll be able to sell him for a big amount of money (60 to 80M) !!

About Ozil, I never noticed him in a game (and more especially because I don't care about Bundesliga). I really saw him for the first time against Australia. I'm interested to see how he will play against Serbia, a team a bit more organized and better than Australia ...

Is he that good with his club ?
I mean, does he often do the kind of performance he did against Australia ?

PS: Of course, I'm kidding about the last part (the sale of Pato, not about his level).

EDIT: http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/?action=read&id=213490
It seems it's already a done deal for Storari in Juventus (4.5M). Does that means that they're going to sell Buffon ?

About Ozil. He's just 21 (turns 22 in October)

Last year:
9 goals, 12 assists in 31 league games. He filled in Diego's role as CAM in 4-2-3-1

year before he played mostly wing in same formation, because Diego took his role, had 3 goals and 12 assists in 28 games (only 20 as starter).

Werder finished 3rd last year with 71 goals (second most behind Bayern who had 72). An improvement on year before where they finished an abysmal 10th

Ozil could be gotten a little cheaper (if hype dies down), because he is out of contract in 2011 and has no desire to renew. Werder were said to sell him for 15 mil euros before world cup, but only Arsenal offered 10 mil.

For m... him + Afellay on dutch NT could be steal buys. Afellay is another creative guy who can play everywhere in midfield. Often took a deep role this year, but in post had been mostly attacking winger could be had for even less

Firstly Ozil is beyond our reach..... And bringing in the Nigerian keeper as our second GK if Storari leaves would be a risk.... Alot of pressure knowing that somewhere during the course of the long campaign Abbiatti will get injured and this bloke will have to step in.

But having Dida between the sticks means risks are no longer a worry for Milan anyways.....

For starter, using a non-EU spot on a backup GK is very stupid. These Non-EU spots should be use in the starting 11.
Secondly, GK should be the least of MIlan concern as what's the point of selling Stoari(best GK in Serie A in 09-10) for 4mil, if the replacement is probably going to cost the same.

Ahh don't let Storari go to Juve for 4 million he's a good keeper and if he goes what do we have Abbiatti who is injury prone and Roma who hasn't played in 2 year's.Also I hope a new Dida contract is a joke , Amelia has been off form for about 2 years and bad this last year.I don't think that Milan MGT are even considering Enyeama.

Inter will open discussions with Mascherano according to English media , I dont think that Inter need him but he is a bit younger than Cambiasso and obviously would and will be an asset if he goes to Inter.
Juve have agreed a contract with Gallas okay for backup I guess but nowhere near the level he was.And they are close to Bonucci all paper talk ofcourse but Bonucci would be a good addition.

Report on sky sports say we are considering offering Ballack a 2 year contract , that would be suicide he would be 36 when it ends and would at least expect 100,000 a week please let it be bogus.

Now Abbiati is rumoured to be possibly leaving if Milan can't guarantee a first team spot. This goalkeeping situation is a mess.

On top of all this milannews reports Milan's bugdet will increase little by little based on sales. Whilst true about our budget increasing, it's also true that sold players need replacing, so whilst the bugdet may increase, the need for investment does too.

About Amelia, i agree , I think Milan should buy Alves from Almeria, he is young ahd had a great 2 seasons and also Consigli for free (his contract expired), I would like to see Pastore or Ozil as AMC in Milan but Pastore worth too much and Ozil probably will leave for Premier League. Ballack is free so you know he fits the criteria and is experienced.About Ozil and Pastore they are a bit out of our reach and Dzeko is way to expensive , Alves would be good .
I have this horrible feeling that Storari will leave for 4 mil and Abbiatti for about 5 and in will come Amelia for free on a loan with a view to but and Dida will be given another year....Make 9 million spend none and Hunter will leave for about 13 million and I think that before the Mercato is over Oddo Kala and Janku will all be gone for about 5 million.

That gives us 27 million to spend but with 6 players to replace well maybe 4 players if Dida stays and Amelia comes in either way its not enough money .

The main budget that Berlusconi will give probably will be something like 30 millions and we will sell:
Huntelaar 10 Millions (but im not sure that he will leave)
Kaladze 4 Millions
Oddo 3 Millions
Flamini 10 Millions
Borrielo 15 Millions (if milan want Dzeko)
Ronaldinho 15 Millions (not sure too)
Storari 4-8 Millions (sad but possible)

and we already got money to buy Dzeko (35-40 Millions) , Gareth Bale (18 Milllions) , Alves ( 15 Millions maximum) and there is around 20 Millions left to buy good Players from Seria A, and i am sure that Allegri will bring some youth player to squad (like Verdi, Albetrazzi, Zigoni and DeVito)

I honestly think that will not happen , I want to keep Flamini and 4 million for Kaladze and 3 million for Oddo , I admire your optomism but Berlusconi has made it clear on several occassions that we have to sell to buy and there will be no other money than that.
So if I am going by your reasoning we will have 50 - 60 million to replace 7 players as Berlu has said sell to buy otherwise no budget.Ans our problem is if we sell Hunter Flamini Borriello Dinho we will not replace them with players that will make us better .

If he can take some longshots, he is the second Pavel Nedved.

We need him for RCM in 4-3-1-2, his workrate & movement help us a lot, a attack-minded Gattuso.

He did great today.

Like I mentioned after the Serbia-Ghana game. I think he suffered in that game because of the formation. He was asked to play as a RM (a right wide player in a 4 man midfield across). He really struggled with that.

Today, he was playing in his more common role and made a difference. He was more advanced and that's what works for him. He can be dangerous if he gets the ball 30-35meters from the goal out wide. He can use his pace well then.Like we saw against Ghana though, when he receives the ball at the half way line, he isn't as effective and is very predictable in that formation.

Great work today by Krasic.

Saying Krasic isnt a good player after seeing him in 90 min only! come on... arent you ashamed now?

Today the man was brilliant, his speed and technique are great. Passes and crosses, great. Has a very good shot, vision... He could play in front of Pirlo-Flamini and make a grat impact in Milan, and also can be used wide.

And no, Nedved is something more, Nedved was Golden ball player, there will pass some moooore time untill we see a winger like Pavel.

You're a little harsh :D. Ribery is overrated for being compared with Zidane, but they belong to two different types, sharing only dribbling skill. Ribery is fast, Zidane isn't (wasn't) but he possessed all the technique (even some defensive ones).

However, Ribery is still one of the best runners with the ball.

Özil, IMO is more of AMC, playmaker. He is better at passing the ball and creativity but Ribery's breakthrough is better.

I've seen him a few times in Germany and only a couple of times for the Dutch. Always thought he can be great within the right circumstances, but I feel like I haven't seen enough to mark him as the next big winger comming from the Netherlands. He definitely has talent.

hi everyone, its been a long time for me..

anyway a few thoughts,i think its about time to realise we need a lot more than just 2-3 players, for once more Galiani must leave, imo he cannot contibute anything to this club anymore,as he has no good relations with any team in the world after all these years..

about players, krasic would certainly be gr8 for us,he is talented, motivated and wants to play in italy..someone said about montolivo,THAT would be awsome he is excactly the type of player we need now as rignho and pirlo are loosing pace and motivation..moreover its more thanlikely he will leave fio without pradelli(who was a gr8 target too btw,but no..).

fabiano seems to be a little slower(reactions)than previous years, but again we dont have anyone better that half of him..

we obviously still need a f** lb(like we did the last 3-4 years) and maybe a gk,amelia btw was the worst serie a's keeper last year..

ps1 have you noticed gooch on the wc??i think we were too harsh on him,he is doing far better than favalli at least..

MARCO AMELIA will join Milan on loan.

Genoa’s Chairman, Enrico Preziosi have confirmed 28-year-old goalkeeper, Amelia, will undergo medical check-ups on Monday and Tuesday, before putting pen to paper and joining the Rossoneri on a free 1-year loan deal.

“We have already shaken hands,” told President Preziosi. “On Monday he will undergo a medical and on Tuesday he will be declared a Milan player.”

Milan legend backs Allegri for Milan success

Amelia will be the second signing of AC Milan this summer, after il Diavolo have secured the services of 34-year-old defender Mario Yepes for free.

In order to buy, Milan need to sell, thus, Mario Storari will join Juventus for €4.5 million and Marco Amelia will sign a Milan contract.

I am not sure that Amelia that right Goalkeeper for us

Amelia is among the big list of players who were very promising and never exploded to reach the highest level ... It's probably his last chance.

The fact that it would just be a loan, with an option to buy him if I'm not wrong, is good because if he finally explodes (if he plays because I think he will start as the 2nd Gk in the hierarchy), we'll have a very good GK and not too old. If he doesn't manage to improve, he'll go back to his club and will probably never become the very good GK he could have been after his promising young years.

It looks like the sale of Storari is going to finance the purchase of Lazzari as it seems he is valued to 6M, and as a consequence, that would mean that the arrival of this player would be paid thanks to the money earned with the sale of Storari and the money saved in our wages budget (with the end of contract of Dida).

So, if any other player leaves, that will mean we have some targets on the mercato.

Sad that a club such as Milan needs to sell a player in order to finance the purchase of another player value at 6mil.

We don't need too, we are justing being forced to by our crooked owners, who need to money for fertility drugs, botox, hip replacements, and to pay the church for all their sins on their death bed as there's no way they'll get to heaven without a major contribution to the church funds.

Also the owner's ***** daughter has convinced ?? wtf?? How?? not to spend money on Milan as it's cutting into her inheritance. Get a real job you lackie *****.

Amelia came for free on loan, so did Yepes.

Amelia to replace Dida, Yepes to replace Favalli...

If Caceres replaces Oddo as they say ( on loan deal again ) and we add Hleb on loan deal as well... that means we have spent nothing again.

Lazzarri will come with Allegri sopposedly, he will cost 8mln or something.

Those players are a SMALL step up for us. If we add one Cf like Fabiano and one Cb who will replace Kaladze, also Marek will leave... we can say we'll have stronger Milan then this year.

BUT, we have again spent nothing and that team will not be good enough for highest results.

However my hope is that Silvio will insert some money and Milan will maybe BUY one player that is actually worthy of Milan's shirt, A player like Ibrahimovic or Torres ( all the talk about one big player, bla, bla...)

It is ABSOLUTELY necessary to sign a GOOD CB when we sell Kaladze, a player that is reliable and can play when NEsta is tired. Player like Mexes, Ranocchia etc.

Hleb can be useful, I consider him a good move for a load deal!

But the thing Moggi said is absolutely true, Ibrahimovic with Pato and Dinho would be something that would open up soo much space for any other player around them that it would be something that would make us dominate serie for sure.

We don't have the midfielders for these players to create space for.
We don't even have the mid to play counter-attacking play.

Frankly unless we get 2/3 players like Jucilei, Ganso - creative, box to box players next season will be no different to the last few.

Slow, unbalanced, predictable, and poor. Just like our transfer policy.

Exactly, it's a good move imo.

Amelia is indeed very talented, but does seem to have problems off the field. At least I seem to remember him getting in fights with alot of coaches. Nevertheless this increases our budget by 5 Million, and gives us an option to buy Amelia (At least I think), a young goalkeeper, if he turns out to be a succes, which he very well could be.

About Ibrahimovic, I can't think off any better partner for Pato. It actually could happen, but is probably unlikely. Afterall Man City did loan out Robinho (The most expensive EPL player ever), so it's not impossible for a player as expensive as Zlatan to be loaned out. The question is just if Barcelona really are gonna try and give him a year more by pushing Villa to the LW.

Personally I think it would be a crime for Barcelona to push out Pedro from the starting 11 and push Bojan further away, but no one knows what this new Barca president is like.

I know that many of us had better options in mind, but the Amelia move is a good one.... Storari was never coming back as long as there was strong interest from other clubs anyways.

This deal is of a player who has heaps of potential but with us taking no risks if it doesn't work out. Furthermore, the deal will most likely leave Abbiatti happy as well, so we can keep both for next season.

But who here would prefer Diego Alves and Amelia?

AC Milan Set Sights On Barcelona Duo Aliaksandr Hleb & Martin Caceres - Report
The Rossoneri are looking to shop in Catalonia...
www.goal.com

AC Milan are interested in acquiring the services of Barcelona duo Aliaksandr Hleb And Martin Caceres, according to Italian publication Leggo.

The Italian giants are in the market for reinforcements as they plan to mount serious challenges in Serie A and the Champions League.

Hleb was expected to move to Inter as part of the deal which took Zlatan Ibrahimovic to Barcelona, but the Belarusian declined a transfer to the Giuseppe Meazza. He instead took up a loan stint at Stuttgart, where he had previously spent five years, helping Die Roten reach the Champions League round of 16.

Caceres, who is part of Uruguay's squad at the World Cup, spent the season on loan at Juventus, who opted against a permanent deal for the 23-year-old.

Both players are not part of Pep Guardiola's squad plans at Barcelona and could be interested in a new challenge at Milan, with whom the Blaugrana have a good relationship following the transfers of Gianluca Zambrotta and Ronaldinho in 2008.

sorry if it's been posted already ....

Carceres is alright, especially knowing that we need a full-back... However he is very injury prone and not someone I think we should invest in. If he was on loan again then we should be interested, but it seems Barca want to get rid of him for good.

Dzeko, 24 had a price tag of £35 million but it now looks like Wolfsburg will not receive more than £28 million for the player, who has netted an impressive 56 goals in 94 league for the club and 15 times in 24 appearances for the Bosnian national side.

Sao Paulo defender Joao Miranda remains a target for AC Milan.

Milan have been tracking Miranda for over 18 months.

The 25-year-old has been one of the best performers in Brazil's Serie A and knows all about Milan's Thiago Silva.

Milan are weighing up moving for either Miranda or Velez Sarsfield's highly rated young centre-back Nicolas Otamendi this summer.

We can't afford either player. Ibra is on something like either 8 or 12 million a year, never mind the transfer fee.

Berlu wouldn't sanction such a move, despite his big name signing speech a while back esp as he wants all players on less than 4 mill a year. No big player would player for that.

what for? Milan need to returen to 2-1-3-4 formation , without any winger, because ronaldinho to slow and better in middle ( got a lot of space) and pato is a forward that need to score but not winger/ Giovinco isnt super playmaker , better on flangs (because fast)

Give Verdi & Oudamendi a chance. Our midfield needs the most work, not the att.

We need 3 new players in mid, possbily 4, esp if we can get rid of gattuso.

Strasser will be a good addition, but others like Jucilei, Goulan and an att mid are needed.

I think Abate should play in mid this season as he has the engine to play box to box and is competitive.

I have been thinking about that for a while now... a Hunter-Giovinco swap can be quite great. I remember they wanted Boriello too, even a Giovinco-Boriello swap can be great for us.

We must try to get Giovinco. He is a great, great player and just needs a new environment. He wants to leave Juve and he is young and Italian, he'd rather join an Italian team. He wouldn't go to Inter, and now that Juve-Milan relations are good, I think a Milan move for him would be ideal. I would actually consider splashing out the cash on him (given that we cover other areas).

Actually - come to think of it - I would rather Giovinco over Ganso(who I really think is not that good).

Woah I cant stop thinking about it now, sell R80, sell Borriello/Hunter, bring in Giovinco and maybe a lil cash from Berlu for Ibrahimovic.

Ladies & Gentlemen, I give you
Giovinco - Ibra - Pato

Yes, we signed Amelia on-loan with a right to purchase, its on the Genoa website. But i doubt he will be the first choice, rather he will be an understudy to Abbiatti, hope fully Amelia returns back to his original form like he was 3 years back.....

Another rumour - Milan is being linked to Lanzafame at last ----- OOOOh I just like this lad, he is really talented....go get him Milan. Lanzafame, Poli, Cigarini, Santon would have been good additions...

Also Juve is stammering a bit on the Krasic deal, if and only if B&G could sabotage this and get him for Milan for cheap.....would have been great !!!

BTW - No Ibra pleeez......I would rather have Ambrosini as striker thanks.

I've seen both players and I think Hernanes is a much better player. I would even rather someone a little more defensive like Jucilei because the guy is pure class..Veloso I'm not too sure of. He reminds me of Tiago (Juventus).

Milan veterans refuse to leave

Posted by Meytar Zeevi on Jun 21, 2010 | Leave a Comment

OFFERS arrive but they are consistently saying no.

AC Milan have decided that in order to buy players, other should go. The Rossoneri have also decided they would like to buy a fullback and a defender this summer. However, these plans are stuck, thanks to two players.

The one is Kakha Kaladze. The 33-year-old Georgian had seen very little of the pitch during the last season, and AC Milan have made it very clear that the center back is not in their plans for the next season.

Allegri to Milan: An endless soap opera
Milan monitoring Portugal international midfielder

Kaladze’s contract was widely improved in 2007, and he’s not interested to leave. Kaladze has said no to Rubin Kazan, to Napoli, to Parma and to the request of Andriy Shevchenko to join him at Dynamo Kyiv.

The other player is Marek Jankulovski. Like Kaladze, Janku didn’t take part in the most on AC Milan 09/10 campaign and it is unlikely that the left-back will be playing next season, thanks to the good form of Luca Antonini.

Janku was offered to Inter in January as part of Amantino Mancini deal and also to Wolfsburg, to decrease the requested money for Edin Dzeko. The reason for his refusal is not money in this case, but his honour.
