kris he will be a great addition and literally he would turn our squad into a winning squad, he is a copy of pirlo with more defensive character. and really we would have a very strong midfield pirlo wont have to tire him self every week, but i doubt our management will be intrested to pay like 20 mil not in these circumstances, we are not qualified to cl, we desperatly need every cent to build a realistic squad and we hope we get what we were promised earlier this week !

Looks like we are going for one of these : Etoo, Drogba, Adebayor and Amauri.
Well anchelotti just said the there will be new face at milan but there will be no revolution as for the attacker he said that we will get one of the names mentioned above. LOL .... SAY HELLO TO OUR NEW STRIKER AMAURI :uhm:

Adebayor wont coming to Milan. i read at Arsenal official site that he wants to stay. rumour linked Eto'o to Inter. Drogba is moaning since the last season started that he wanted to leave but then he corrected again when the season was running. and i guess this time on transfer window he will absolutely leave Chelski. the question is how much his price? we all knew that Drogba is a great striker. and will he wants only playing at UEFA Cup when Chelski or Madrid (the club which is hardly linked with him too) will be participant from CL? the rest is Amauri. he says that he only want to playing for a club who will be participate on CL. Juve has it and Juve chases him too. so.. that would be bring us back again to 0 new strikers :tong:

We are a club in which Inzafghi doesnt want any new strikers, Seedorf doesnt wnt to give his place to Ronalidnho alsough he can barely walk now, and coach speaks about no revolution while general manager speaks about 7-8 new players + Flamini.... chaos continues, part 3!

I just saw on SKy that Milan will not buy Zapata becouse he HAS NO EXPERIENCE and is TOO YOUNG. And will maybe go for Marquez. Personally, I see Bonera as a better player for Milan's CB rotation then Marquez, or Marquez can only be used as a Pirlo replacement in the middle coz he is a player with rafined tachnique.

My wish is to go for Cigarini after what I saw from that boy yesterday, and players like Zapata, Vargas...normal players that are actually top class material.

I hope the revoultion will come in the and, with 7-8 players arriving and Carlo simply lying or ...something. He said the sistem will not be changed, that means one more year with 2 DM' plus Pirlo every game. Huh...

A friend of mine went to Milan-Udinese and he says that the crowd had some kind of chant like this: "pay the money, we know you are full, we're not fools..." ROUGT translation. And that people were litterally laughing at the wqay Seedorf was walking down the pitch without the ball, goint to the bench and talked to some palyers and just stood there... KAka' was having an argument with Carlo about PAto as it seems and so on...one part of crowd started to chant to Ancelotti but the rest started to whisle - chaos.

It's not chaos:
- Galliani said we will buy 6-7 new players but no revolution, just an evolution of the team
- Ancelotti said a revolution wasn't needed, just some reinforcements (so Galliani and him both said the same thing)
- I read reports from Inzaghi saying they need a new striker, I was surprised because he never mentionned Gilardino lol, he said something like "we need a new striker, guy like Toni or Amauri, to play with Pato and myself" ...
- Seedorf doesn't want to give his number to Ronaldinho, but he never said "I don't want Ronaldinho in Milan", it's quite logical, why would he give his number to a new arrival whereas he is there since many years ?

No chaos at all ?

Any rumors today and I really don't understand why a player like Vargas would like to play for Viola b.c of CL, I mean it is not like Milan is a club that only play in the CL once every five years. If I am Vargas, I would not go to Viola b/c that means I need to look for a new club next year.

As for Zapata, the more negative about him from Carlo or Galli the better, as they always talk down about someone and end up signing him in the end.

Marquez is actually a not a bad choice for Pirlo's sub, but if we do sign Zapata, vargas and Dossena, would that make Kaladze an option to be Pirlo's sub. Afterall, he did started playing in DM for us and scoring goals.

channel four:
Barcelona full-back Gianluca Zambrotta is awaiting news regarding his transfer to Milan, but the deal is yet to be sealed.

The former Juventus player would be happy to return to Italy and the Spanish giants have already made it clear that they will let him go as long as the Rossoneri meet their demands.

“I don't know what is going to happen. My agent hasn't told me anything yet,” Insisted Zambrotta.

The Italian international should move to San Siro for a £6m transfer fee, although the Milanesi may have to wait until the end of Euro 2008 to seal the deal.

Meanwhile, Ronaldinho could join Zambrotta in moving to Milan this summer as the months of speculation continue to gather pace.

The Barcelona star claimed in an interview with Ona FM that he has already agreed a contract with Milan.

The Brazilian will not travel with Barca to Saudi Arabia next week to take part in their friendly, leading to claims that the deal could be confirmed in the next fortnight.

Reportedly, the Rossoneri would pay him £5m per year while the Catalans may settle for a transfer fee of just £14m.

No, I'm sorry but Fiorentina seems to have a good project ... and they want to reinforce their team to do something good in CL, but I presume it is to qualify again for the next CL too.
If Vargas comes alone, of course, it's a weird choice from him, but if they really buy Vargas, Barzagli, our Gilardino, etc, then it's not so stupid because this team could become one of the big in the next years.

And the only thing to hope is that they do it because that will increase Serie A level and attraction, and of course, more teams fighting in the domestic league means teams improving ...

If Fiorentina buys the guys whom they are linked with, I wouldn't be surprised if Juventus was out of the next Top 4 of Serie A for example !!

I really doubt Fio would make CL's spot next year even if they signed Vargas (I doubt he'd choose Fio), Barzagli (so overrated player IMO) and Gila (it means Frey'd come to us). If not because of Milan's inconsistency, Fio wouldnt get the CL spot this year. We were so bad (and inconsistent of course) this season in Serie A.

Only fighting in UEFA cup, it's alreay so hard for them to reach 4th spot. How could they concentrate more next season (while the opponents getting stronger) than this season in Serie A if the must play in Champions League? Juve should be better next year and so do Milan.

I'm not ok with that, I've always thought that UEFA Cup is more difficult than CL, I don't mean level is stronger, but physical issues are bigger, it's why I'd prefer that we don't play too seriously this boring european cup. There are more matches, and generally bigger travels: in CL, you often play against Spanish, English, French, German, ... clubs, in UEFA Cup, you add all the clubs from East Europe.

If all had been normal last year, with no penalities, Lazio wouldn't have been qualified in CL, it would have been Milan + Fiorentina, so mathematically without penalities, it would be their second spot in CL, but because of these penalities for them, they only played UEFA Cup.

If you want my current Top 4 for next year (could change with real mercato, for moment, I only care about some rumours): Milan 1st (lol of course), Inter 2nd, Roma 3rd, Fiorentina 4th, and Juventus fighting with Napoli for the 5th place.

I can see why people want to write Juve off for next year as DP and Nedved are a year older. However, with Trez wanting to prove his worth and Sissoko playing well along with a solid defense with Buffon, I will take Juve over Fio anyday. Ofcourse Juve did not play in Europe at all last year, but JUve is Juve, Moggi or not they still won more Series A than anyone in the league including us.

Juve faced with a 3 pronged battle front of Coppa, Serie A, and UCL, wont be the force they were this term, even with replacements...as a matter of fact, I would tip the Viola to finish ahead of them next season.

Both though ultimately will suffer, and I feel Milan will use a "B" or understrength team in the UEFA Cup, where applicable. Our focus will be on the Serie A.

Banega would be an excellent buy for us, but there is the nonEuro issue...or does he have some Italian or Spanish granparent some where? :D

I think Amauri, as others have said, is 98% Juve´s, and of Adebayor, Drogba, or Etoo, I would opt for the Arsenal player, because he is young, and not as hot headed or egotistical as the other two.

That's Fiorentinas problem. They want to win the UEFA and secure 4th place but without enough decent depth. And in CL, they must also want to win as the winner get much bonus money (except money for play). So again, how to choose the championship you want to focus.

I still believe in Juve's (big team) mentality. Juve wont fight for 5th spot against Napoli. If they have to fight spot, the lowest they'd fight is 4th spot. So, Fio should are the club who should be afraid of Juve to fight for 4th spot (if Juve are not ready to keep focus in Serie A and CL)

Juve will fight for the scudetto next year, they are always favorites for the title in Italy becouse - they are Juventus. With 3 or 4 good signings that they will made, Juve will be strong as hell. They will also insert few young players like De Caglie, Marchisio and so on...Giovinco!

Giovinco, Nedved, Camoranesi, Sissoko, Zanetti, X.Alonso ( as it looks ), Marchisio, Marchionni, Salihamidžić...Trez, Del Piero, Iaquinta, Amauri....Juve will play for scudetto believe me.

If Milan wants to play serious role we need serious players and not jokers like this year, we'll see.

Couple of things Warro. Banega I doubt will be a target for Milan due to his bad reputation. He's known for his partying and has had a couple of scandals in his short career (one of him apparently pleasuring himself to porn or something being made public).

Adebayor is pretty well known for a little arrogance. I wouldn't say it's any worse that either Eto'o (who's just a little crazy anyway) or Drogba though.

I don't know if it's official yet, but only 3 teams from Spain, Italy and England will play CL from season 2009/2010.

With stronger Fiorentina and stronger Milan (not to forget Napoli who are investing a lot and already have a very good starting XI) it won't be as easy for Inter, Juve and Roma to get one of top 3 places, like they did this year.
It's bad news that one of the big 4 in Italy (Juve, Milan, Inter, Roma) will certainly miss out on CL.
But, like i said, i don't know if it's official or not.

P.S: What you expect for Juve, Geo Tav, i expect for Roma.
I think Roma will be the team that will start falling. They had their chance and now they can only go down. Totti is getting injured a lot, he'll be 33 next season and they don't invest in new players.

Gourcuff never said all these things, he's the contrary of people speaking like that !! He's a very reserved and shy person, so you'll never hear him saying such stupid things !!

People who said that were our management and Italian medias when he came to Milan whereas he didn't play one match for us yet !!

Umh, yes, I know that will be done someday, but I'm not sure it is so early ? Anyway, I often forget that when we speak about 2010, it's just, not next season, but the following one lol.

This rule about clubs in CL is sad for Italy (now that Juv has come back) and England who often had 2-3 good clubs in CL + 1 excellent or very good, for Spain, it's not a problem, there are 2 big clubs, and some average ones turning (Valencia had its period in CL, La Corogne too, Villareal too, Sevilla won't play it again next year, Villareal is coming back, Atletico Madrid is taking a place, etc, except Barcelona and Real, you never know what other club will play in CL).
Anyway, that will increase UEFA Cup level: if you always have a big club from Spain, England and Italy, it will be funnier.

For Roma, I'm not able to tell if I agree or disagree, they're strong but are able sometimes to lose matches they would have to win easily ... the reason why I wrote that about Juventus is that they never impressed me during this season, they are efficient but Trezeguet will be older, Iaquinta seems to go, Del Piero will be older too, Nedved too, and they don't have a W-C defense like they had with Thuram-Cannavaro for example. And when you look at rumours about their new players, there's no W-C players (Amauri isn't for me). I may be wrong and could have to say next year "I was wrong, Juventus is very strong", but I don't feel it like this, they don't seem to have a real kind of play.

When Gourcuff first came he looked like a pure footballer and it was really exciting to see him keep it simple with his freeflowing pass and move style. But now, he has become a player who only passes side ways. Im still a big supporter of Ancelotti, but he really needs to learn how to hone talent more and trust it. We saw the last few games of the season where he opted for experience over Pato. In the last game Pato came on and made the difference. Hopefully, Ancelotti will trust in him more now. Gourcuff is not with out blaime though as he needs to realise his potential.

I think we need to keep faith in him and loan him out to re-learn his playing style and become the Seedorf replacement we need him to be. I like him because, before his decline, he was pro active with the ball, plenty of movement and quite agressive and willing to chase opponents although not a DM. Plus his Dad is a Manager in France so he has a great teacher even at home (Or on the phone). Finally, despite being treated a little harshly at times he has never once disrespected Ancelotti or Milan.

I really hope to see Milan loan him to another Seria A team so he can learn to impose himself more. Afterall, he wont be the first player to fail at Milan. Lets not risk having another Patrick Viera situation on our hands.

Tony, nope your conception of that rule is incorrect. Platini mentioned that the top 3 will automatically qualify to the CL and the fourth spot will be to the qualifiers..but it is not yet official. That's just an idea, just like his other idea (IMO a fantastic idea) to give a CL spot to the Coppa winners. Will improve competition and increase hope for the cup teams such as Napoli and Milan.

And GeoTav, I agree with Tony. No way Juve will not fight for the scudetto, I thought Roma would be falling apart this year but they really impressed me to get all these points, and I also never expected them to beat Real. They are just going through a great moment, I really cannot see them challenging next year, I think it will be Milan/Inter/Juve again, and maybe Roma/Fiorentina could be surprises and end somewhere up there. Napoli still need another season IMO, I cant see them doing well. I expect Lazio to have a good season just because they always had one good season followed by a bad one and then a good one again.

Before that he only really had one senior season at a high level. Now you claim that he would make our squad a "winning one"? I have seen little of Banega and even if he have talent this is less than certain. Clear fact is that he didn't always start in Valencia, a team that failed totally and was trashed several times. Before that he only really had one senior season at a high level. Now you claim that he would make our squad a "winning one"? Making sounds like he is some super player that would set the world alight, when in truth it would be questionable if he even would start for us.

I doubt he would start for us and he certainly won't be the player to make us much better. He's got talent, but that doesn't mean he'll meet expectations in his career, as we've seen many fail (especially Argentines). I personally thought he'd be a decent addition when I first saw him, simply because he has potential to develop into a great player. However, I have my doubts on his personality and lifestyle, which I think could hold back his career at this point.

According to goal.com, Ancelotti was quoted as saying that Milan will buy one of the following, Drogba, Eto, Adebayor or Amauri

http://www.goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=706212

I think all of the above have pros and cons.

On paper Drogba has everything he needs to be a great target-man in serie-a. However, I don't think he has the mentality. He is too hot-headed, the UCL Final proved that once again.I've also seen him argue with Michael Ballack in a match over who would take a free-kick. Do we want that sort of personality at Milan?

Eto no doubt would score goals but isn't a target-man. He lacks the height up-front and at set-pieces that we really need.

Adebayor also has everything a target-man needs to succeed in serie-a but also isn't the best team player. When he came on as sub in a league game, he kept telling Bendtner he was on the field because Bendtner was playing ****. Again how does that build team spirit and morale?

Amauri would score goals in serie-a for us, perhaps not as frequently as we might need him to. In UEFA or when we get to UCL in 2009/2010 he might struggle which would take us back to square one.

If I had to choose out of them I would probably want Eto or Adebayor because they are younger than Drogba and better than Amauri.

That doesn't mean anything remember the "either, beckham, ronaldo or figo will come" speech a couple of years back. Transfernegotiations are all about pulling up smokescreens and keeping something up your sleeves. I think it only means we are intrested in such players if any of them is available we'll look in to the matter. The fact that Amauri is still in this list while he was almost 100% juve bound proves that some of these names are just put in becoz we don't want to narrow it down to just one name (what would bring us in a weaker negotiating position).
for example Barca knows Berlu en co deperately wanted rondaldhino that's why they want as much money for him they can. Hence some reports of Berlu recently that we don't need ronaldhino badly etc.

Gourcuff is now a joke. But in his first game against AEK he looked brilliant. his game was completely different then it is now. He played as a left midfielder and scored, had few assists and showed reall skill. Was applauded by whole San Siro when he came off!

Then he got injured and mr. super talent developer Carlo decided not to play him untill the rest of his life! Same happened to Pato as soon as Pippo got fit.

Yoan is a good palyer, but under Carlo he will always be a joke.

Mrki, considering that Gila has played under Prandelli before, has played alongside Mutu before and Prandelli's uncanny ability to get the best out of his players, I'd say he would probably hit double figures in his 1st season and will more than likely score against us.

Graeme, right now anything we get for Gila is a good deal, regardless of what we paid for him. He is a liability at the moment, 30 appearances and only 7/8 goals. If he had reached 10+, then maybe we could have bartered a bit.
Nobody is going to bid high on a striker who just had the season he has.

If we sign this 1st choice world class striker, sheva returns, + Pato and Inzaghi there are our 4 strikers in the squad. He is an expensive asset to have in your squad who isn't performing.

I wonder if Galliani is going to give any indication as to which defenders we are targeting? The focus thus far has really been on the attack, but with Cafu gone, and the "Milan" Oddo being a distant relative to the "Lazio" Oddo, the defensive personnel deficiencies are glaring.

Vargas, Alves...these are the "champions" that are worthy of a Milan shirt, but will we break the bank? Will we promote from the primavera? I think the kid who we had hopes for, (name starts with an "A" can't remember now :D ) should go on loan, and real world class players brought in...

Ok so we are targetting Zambrotta...and he is versatile, (can play on either flank)...so who for the other side?

And in the centre of the defense, we need a player at the top level as well...Mexes has been touted, but I doubt he would leave Roma for a Milan team not in the UCL....and distressingly, Zapata doesn't seem to be under consideration either (based on recent rumors).

Barzagli looks likely to join the Viola, and only Marquez has really been linked with us with any seriousness.

Can't say I would mind the Mexican, even if he does give up a lot of fouls in dangerous areas...

Its early days yet however, so I guess I should not worry about this now...if by August we haven't been reported to be in negotiations for players for this position, then will I start to be seriously "concerned" :D

Guys, stop thinking we're going to give Gila+Oddo+... to have X+Y+..., we're in real life, not in FM2008 or PES2008 !! lol

Money is almost always involved ...

I would like that we loan Gilardino, not sell him, to Fiorentina, if he scores in the start of the next season, that will mean he will score a lot during the entire season because he will retrieve his confidence, and then, when he'll be the top scorer of the next Serie A with 25 goals, let's just take him back the following year, we will have a Gilardino plenty of confidence to replace Inzaghi stopping his career for example ?

Same case for Gourcuff with Seedorf (anyway, if we get Ronaldinho, when Seedorf will stop, Gourcuff will only be his sub, so probably the same problem again and again, he's in a position that will probably never allow him to regularly play for us like a starter) ...

jmacpherson

Maggio may be a RB but he never plays in that position.
He played as an attacking right midfielder, and that's why he scored so many goals and made so many assists ( 8 goals and 7 assists).

Ancelotti doesn't make transferdescions so he probably just ment that we need such type of forward. Warro, I know that Robinho and PAto would be lightweight, no doubt...but, after watch Pato playing in Brazil and now in Milan as a second striker, I have no doubt, Pato is a CF!!!

He plays better at that position, because he always played as a #9 in Internacional youth team...he´s still learning the second strike role. Btw, Pato is still a kid, and I have no doubt he will gain more muscle without to lose speed and agility. Said that, I still want a big CF in our team...

Regarding Robinho, It would be the best thing for Robinho career a transfer to Milan. Robinho isn´t a winger, in his best days at Santos and Brazil NT, Robinho was playing the support strike role...and makes me sad to see coaches wasting his talent in the winger position...

Siregar
23-05-2008, 20:21
Madrid won't sell Robinho this year as he is one of the best player for Madrid this season although he was a bit inconsistent near the end of the season.

I've watched some of Madrid games and I do think that this season is Robinho's best performance in Spain. He not only scored goals but also make assists (or opened space for other player to score) with his dribble towards the penalty area.

I think he can make good partnership with Pato and I agree with Brasileiro. Pato and Robinho are not same. Pato is more CF (and I think, it's better for Pato to play CF as his instinct to score and finishing is pretty good) and Robinho is a support striker (who can also play winger).

With Kaka behind Robinho and Pato (or Pato infront of Kaka and Robinho) could make our attacking really sharp IMO. Kaka with his speed and clever moves, Robinho with his fast dribble and Pato with his scoring instinct. :D

Warro Bantan
23-05-2008, 20:33
Point taken Brasiliero...but even so...Robinho took a while to settle in a league that isn't as physical as the Serie A...and I think was initially tried in the 2nd or support striker role...were I believe he was constantly outmuscled....

When he was moved outside (by Capello?) And allowed to receive the ball with space, and time to run at defenders...he gained a more permanent place in the Madrid line up.

In Milan, he would start over whom? Seedorf?

Essentially we play: Pippo/Pato, Kaka, Seedorf and Pirlo as attacking players.

If we get Robinho, does it mean we no longer want R10? And...again...do we bench Clarence?

Robinho, as talented as he is, can't hold up the ball, and will be shouldered out of a Serie A midfield...Seedorf thrives in this role...

Again, I think Robinho is an excellent player, just not sure how we would accommodate him.

As we can't play Pato, Kaka, Pirlo, Seedorf, and Robinho at the same time...who does Carlo drop?

I think you are forgetting that this summer, unlike most, we are looking at many different deals. This is not like the last 3 summers, in which we were only going to make like 1 or 2 deals (it was a bad plan, but a plan nonetheless), meaning that we can drag on the negotiation process for as long as it takes. We are looking at 7 new players for this team this summer, which means we don't have 3 months to negotiate for one guy. Either there is a deal or there isn't a deal, there is no reason or need to negotiate for months like we always do every summer.

I agree with you that we should be patient, hassling can easily lead to mistakes. But the way this management has been running things, you don't really know whether they mean what they say. If we spend 3 months negotiating for Ronaldinho and Zambrotta, we could very well be looking at 3 new additions for the summer instead of the 7 promised. I don't suppose you need me to tell you how quickly our management can go back on their own words. Patience is a great thing, but being overpatient won't do us any good. As our experience in the market the past 3 seasons should have taught all of us.

secondly in my opinion that isn't those players who act like *censored* but the the club a.k.a Madrid and their dear management :rollani: who always take somebody else's lover (Total Touch's song :tong: ). but seriously those names that you wrote are also not contributed that much for the club. well.. yeah last season in Serie A Ronaldo helped us in few last games. but then he back to an injury. so i will say replaceable for them not idiot :tong:

BORUSSIA DORTMUND, Sahin dreams of Italy

Borussia Dortmund starlet Nuri Sahin, actually on loan at Feyenoord, has declared his will to play in the italian Serie A; the 18 year old midfielder has said that his favourite destination would be AC Milan, but that he wouldn't mind to play for Inter, Roma, Lazio or Udinese.

So, Galiani what are you waiting for

Gila to Viola, and I accept the bet from one poster 20+ goals, I say 15+ dough.

According to channel four we are now linked with Robinho
Real Madrid star Robinho claims Milan have approached him with view to a transfer.

The 24-year-old was responding to rumours that Champions League finalists Chelsea and Manchester United were after his signature.
“With regards to Manchester, it was only speculation,” Robinho told Gloesport. “Cristiano Ronaldo does not want to leave England.”
“I received an offer from Chelsea, and Milan are also interested. The Rossoneri asked to meet my agent.”
Milan are rebuilding their squad after a disappointing season both domestically and in Europe.
The Diavoli finished fifth in Serie A and will play in the UEFA Cup next year, having failed to retain their Champions League crown.
Robinho was crucial to Real Madrid this season. His 11 goals helped the Merengues to a second consecutive La Liga title.
The Brazilian is thought to be happy at the Bernabéu despite interest from Europe’s biggest clubs.
The former Santos fantasista is, however, haggling for a new deal worth £3.5m per annum. Should anything go wrong, Milan will be waiting.

Viola with Jovetic ( great prospect ), Gilardino ( with Prandelli he is always good ), Vargas maybe, Barzagli, Comotto...they will have a very nice squad.

when one of the best calcio managers, Naletilic, talked about general managers in Italy he said that Della Valle in maybe the best one after Luciano Moggi, that Galliani is an institution and has firm connections and works safelf and so on... but he had a lot of praise for Della Valle.

When would Gila's contract end actually? I know that Gila's performance in Milan recently not well but he is still worth more than 14 mil euro IMO.

But anyway, as Galliani said, if Gila leaves, then two strikers will come as we have already four forwards out of six (so what Galliani told about is logic).

And about Seedorf as forward, we shouldn't just read about Seedorf being listed in forward's position but concentrate more in how many forwards Galliani wants (six). It's only the way of Gallini said it with different words but same meaning with what we want (two strikers if Gila goes)

And people, for moment, there is no real departure from our club !!
- Gilardino reports are not official yet, so he is still a Milan player.
- Cafu-Serginho-Dida weren't used so it's not something that's going to hurt us for the next season.
- And Ba is a joke.

For moment, our team is:
GK: Kalac
Defense: Janku, Favalli, **Maldini**, Kaladze, Nesta, Bonera, Oddo
Midfield: Pirlo, Ambrosini, Gattuso, Brocchi, Emerson, Flamini, Kaka', Seedorf, **Gourcuff**

if benzema want to stay a next year in lyon, that doesnt mean we cannot purchase him, all we do is loan him back to lyon to respect his wishes, similar thing to wat mardrid did with garay. We could withdraw him in the winter mercato, or wait until the end if the season, in any case we would have benzema, for next season, at a rather cheap price, because when he has another great season at lyon that price tag will surely rise.

its such a shame i cannot contact galliani and give him that idea.

Siregar
24-05-2008, 10:46
It's better to let Benzema play for another season in Lyon before we snap him (if we want) just to see if he can maintain his performance. If we want to buy him now, his price is already so high (at least 25 mil euros). It's then better to add some mil euros next season but with more guarantee of his ability.

Lol payne and Siregar ...

The idea "Benzema" has been put on this forum since months !!
And for his price, you're dreaming Siregar if you think it is 25M €, I said it many times, it seems Aulas would sell him only for something like 60M €, nothing less, and it will only grow up next year.

Benzema doesn't do his first good year, he already did when he had his chance last year, it's only the first year he's a starter all season long, not his first good year.

That said, if we want him, we would have to buy him right now, but Aulas won't do it, because there's Euro coming in some weeks ...

Warro Bantan

Sure he has thought of it payne, ( :dontkn: )but if (as seems probable, based on recent rumors) Gila goes to the Viola, we will need strikers now, not next, or even in the winter mercato (with the assumption of course that R99 isn't returning).

And the money that Lyon and their eccentric owner would want for him seems ridiculous to pay, in a year when we have to practically rebuild the team, and with the risk of his (non)adaptability to the Serie A....

No argument with ur choice of striker however...he would be a perfect fit for what we need...a strong target man, technically good enough to hold up the ball, and to create chances for himself and his colleagues...but he may just be too pricey with a sufficient level of risk to exclude him from being a realistic possibility...but u never kno...(I wouldn't mind us going for him actually)

Further, with Pato already onboard, and Borrielo in the wings, I think we will go for experience when filling the striker position.

Oh an I will send u Galliani's cell #...:D

I don't say his real value is 60M € !!
I just say that with Aulas, you won't get him if you don't pay AT LEAST 60M € ... and next year, Aulas will want even more because he will say that Benzema is as good as guys like Ronaldo or Messi.

So the problem isn't the real price of Benzema but the price that Aulas will ask for, nothing else.

Mutu-Gilardino is the closest it gets to Sheva-Gilardino.
Gilardino finally gets a partner very similar to Shevchenko and let me remind you that Gilardino was actually good with Sheva next to him.
Now it's up to him to take his chances because Mutu and co will certainly create a lot.
I really have no idea how will Gilardino react. A lot less pressure for him, that's for sure, and perhaps it will do miracles for his confidence, but 2 years completely out of form may leave a scar and maybe he'll never be the same old Gilardino.

Many here seem happy at Gila's probable move to Fiorentina...but I wished he would go play in Spain, where we would only face him in European competition.

I have a feeling this move could be a big mistake, unless we get a 20+ goal/season striker, who would be able to deliver that performance as a new arrival.

Those are few and far between, and I would prefer a loan deal, rather than an outright sale...

Yes it's a mistake, a big mistake, because like some here mentionned, he did well with Sheva, so with Pato playing better and better next year, Gila could have become again the real Gila ... some here say that it wouldn't have been possible because he played so bad these last two years, but with summer rest (not taken for Euro, so a real physical rest but more important, a psychological one), and no CL but UEFA Cup, it was really the year for him to come back to his real level with us.

He would have had nothing to loose if he had decided to stay simply because plenty Milan fans think he will never do well again ...

I'm so sad about this move ... anyway, he wasn't really happy in Milan if he accepted to move to Fiorentina and to be paid "only" (lol) 1,x M€ instead of 3-4M € per year.

i dont expect anything form Gila in Milan anymore, our team/coach/stuff didnt know how to make most of his qualitis visible on the field and that is it. In Milan he will never play well, its over.

As soon as Gilardino arrived we all saw and said that he palys too far from goal, that there are no crosses and so on...the confidence dropped, the touch has been missing and that is it. A player that scored 70 goals in 3 years I think cannot forget to play football. He used to score with overhead kicks, volleys, turning round players in the box and so on. In Milan he lost confidence in few months - its actually a record :)

Ciao Gila and now lets buy better a player, Drogba.

The same Drogba, who just got a ridiculous red card in what he himself said was the "most important match" of his career?

I dunno...but I doubt we want players with that sort of attitude @ Milan.

Can u imagine Berlu/Galliani/Maldini's reaction were he to do something as silly as that in a match of equal importance?

No question of his ability, but its his ego/mentallity that is of concern...and he would be idmissed summarily from Milan IMO were he to pull a similar stunt wearing our shirt.

Plus, he will follow Mourinho wherever he goes, and that's likely to be Inter, or stay @ Chelski if rumors are to be believed....so mayb there is nothing to worry about after all!

Further, after that display, I would really really b surprised if we continued to target him.

i have a felling our big signings for the attack will look like Ronaldinho+Drogba either Eto'o,otherwise another dissapointing summer mercato is awaiting for us.

No solid CB,No another Side back,no complete midfielder like Hamsik,no big name striker.indeed;what a perfect mercato

Borriello is good as 3rd or 4th choice but nothing more than that.in Genoa,he was getting great service and all other players would play for him and however he would be another dead man in our system.

Do you think if we can manage to win the scudetto next year with this mercato?if inter signs the players they want and upgrading their weakness with the likes of Eto'o,Drogba,Carvalho,Hleb,Konko,Lampard
it will be very very hard for us winning it in my opinion.

If it is true that we just signed Boriello then I think all hope is lost for another striker signing this summer. Simply because I think we will sign Ronaldinho.

It will be Inzaghi, Pato and Boriello. Supported by Seedorf, Kaka and Ronaldinho! We are going to have Galliani come out and say that we have 4 forwards in which he will include one of the AM (Seedorf, Kaka, Dinho).

Some here might be dissapointed by this kind of scenario, but it's not a disaster. Right now (if Boriello has signed), there is two possible outcomes and those are Ronaldinho OR "Striker". Take you pick!

Striker !
Shevchenko :D

So Milan sold Borriello for no money and now you're buying him back for 6 millions ?
I thought only Juve directors do such things.

Jokes aside, Pato will probably be a mega star and imo the top scorer of serie A next year. That's why it's perhaps better if instead of buying a striker Milan buy Ronaldinho.
The Christmas tree with Kaka and Ronaldinho behind Pato will be the most used trident up front. Seedorf, Inzaghi and Borriello will be there to jump in and help.
Impressive attacking force.

We just got borriello, he is milanista until 2013, for 6 millions euro plus antonini and di gennaro. Marco is the same mould as Gila but difference is that marco is more physical has pace and very motivated. Something gila never showed at milan
Yeah, that's why he was bench each time he played for us, doped himself with his girlfriend's cream ( ), and that's why until age 26 (after passing through with Milan, and other teams that were low quality) he showed something...interesting enough he only scored one goal against a big team, he scored 4 goals against one team, and 5 from pk's....he won't be anything good with us (not only because he ain't good, but also cause he will be at the bench a lot).

Let me get this straight, we are selling Gila and replacing him with a guy that was never able to overtake him in here? Aren't we supposed to sell a player and get one that is better?

I'm really hoping for much much better news in this department, as well as in the defenders, as well as in someone that can replace Pirlo, and as well as in the fullback position.

Is it true? Didn't Genoa pay Milan to have half of Borriello's contract? I wonder how much Genoa paid to buy half of Borriello's contract.

To buy Borriello 6 mil euros plus 2 players is a bit unlogic IMO. If those 2 players cost 3 mil euros, it means that Borriello's price is 18 mil euros (2xMilan's give to Genoa). Why dont Milan just take a blind bid to decide Borriello's owner?

any way .. i agree he is not happy here , we are not happy he is here fiorentina will be happy if he goes there .. so lets be happy again.
good luck for him .. and get sheva back please.

No:
- Sheva never said he left because of Gilardino, he even said some times that Gilardino had to be the next "big" striker ...
- Don't say "we", you're happy to see him leaving, no all of us, I don't for example.
- And let Sheva where he is.

No solid CB,No another Side back,no complete midfielder like Hamsik,no big name striker.indeed;what a perfect mercato

Borriello back, ok if it is to play with Pato ... but anyway, we should have half-owned Gila, if he does a good year (he will do), then we would have paid again more than we sold to get him back ... pfiou, weird logical ...

Barzagli seems to be a Fiorentina player ...

For Lloris, it's lotery: Tottenham wanted him but they bought Coupet from Lyon, so Lloris has 2 choices right now ... to be a starter in Lyon or to be a starter in Milan.

No, by "no money" i meant much smaller amount than what Milan are paying right now. Genoa payed £1.3, which was a little less than 2m euro back in the summer.
Now Milan will add 4m euro and 2 players only to bring him back.

Like you said, this means that Borriello's price is 18m euro, which isn't realistic at all.

We are signing players for such small sumer of money it is becoming a master work :) ronaldinho - we offer 15 mln? hahaha! Even I as Milanista wouldnt except it.

But that couldmean we will invest in fullbacks and defender.

I don't think we will get Sheva back ... it would be the second big mistake of the mercato, before it even started !! lol

Gila out, Borrielo back, Sheva back (hope he doesn't) = a step back

Gila goes, Borriello takes his place, that's "ok" (again, not really for me but I accept these moves, even if Gila in poor form = 10 Borriello in good form, I hope I'm wrong and will be surprised next year).

But if we take Sheva to "replace Ronaldo" (who never was really ours lol), beurk, better to take another young guy between 18yo and 22yo with few experience but who could learn this year instead of a very experienced guy who did nothing since he left us and who will never do again what he did with us.

I've been convinced by all people posting his name ... let's go for Gomez !!

I haven't really heard much about Borriello to Milan, but 6 million euros alone sounds kind of fair I guess (mostly due to his achievements this year).

The problem comes with the players we've apparently given to Genoa as part of the deal. For example, Di Gennaro and Antonini aren't players to give for Borriello. However, I suspect if they are part of the deal, it would be on loan rather than permanent, in which case I wouldn't be at all upset as they need to be loaned.

I also doubt Borri is our big star forward (I suspect Dinho or someone else is the star forward we're waiting for).

On other news, Real Zaragoza have confirmed Oliveira has signed permanently for them. Fee is 10m euros.

- sale young, talented players cheap to later buy them expensive
- buy promising and talented players and then can not train them and then sell them cheap for other teams to have them shoot at our goal
- buy old, nearly dead, injured, arrogant, disturbing players to replace younger players
- dont know how to negotiate price with other stupid and small teams for player (guess we want to prove we are even more stupid)
- be loyal to old players (i.e. 35 yr) to offer him the right to play until he wants to (in business view this is not called stupid this should be retarded.. oh forgot we dont know business)

The way i see things, its going to be difficult to get a big name forward for next year. I dont want Drogba, his attitude stinks.. His sending off and John Terrys banana split caused chelsea to lose champ league.

If we are going to lose Ronaldo aswell as gila then we deffi has to get someone semi decent in. Sheva? eto? short term solutions really, but ideally i think we should be looking to get benzema now for next year. That would suit both parties as we can get a top 4 spot, and he can play for us in the champ league next year... But that still leaves the question who do we get now..

a player can not be transferred twice in 1 season
if zaragoza bought him for the next season, he will have to stay until the next season to move again
if zaragoza bought him as part of this season (which i doubt not b/c the season was over in spain), then he can move again next season.
so, the difference here is the date on which the spain fa consider to be the new season or old one.

Even if you are comfortable in a club, when you have his level (he's not a W-C goalscorer, but he's not bad at all, it's a good goalscorer), it's some kind of waste to play in second division.

This management was judged based on their performances by many people who doesn't dwell in the past. There is no denying that this management have accomplished a lot in the past, but their performances the last few years has been nothing but mediocre. How can you look at a transfer list of Gourcuff, Oliveira, Emerson, Gilardino, Favalli, Digao, and Ba, and tell me with a straight face that the management is doing their job right? This may sound harsh, but just because you were brilliant 10 years ago doesn't mean you can live off of that reputation for the rest of your life. That is unfair, I agree, but that's the reality of the world we live in.

As far as this management being cheap goes, all you have to do is compare our spending with the rest of the top club in Europe and you will see that our spending would put a Serie B owner in shame. I mean, our team needs about 5 or 6 new players every year, and yet we sign one player a summer and call it a day. Every time when there is a superstar player on the market, we back off before the bidding even starts because of his price tag. If that doesn't sound cheap to you, I don't know what would. Granted, I may not know everything there is to know about what's going on inside the club, but it's not like you have all the insider information to begin with. As far as Berlusconi's track record goes, just look at that list and see how many of those big money signings actually came from this century nevertheless the last 3 to 5 years.

And stop blaming the media for all the news. If I am remembering this right, Berlusconi and Galliani puts out smoke screens every single summer to fool the fans into believing they are actually going to make moves. They never said one signing was going to be it for the summer. They kept hinting there would be superstars arriving and yet sign Emerson and Favalli as soon as the tickets are sold. And let's say if they did tell the fans straight up what they are going to do, that still doesn't make what they do the right thing to do. If Berlusconi and Galliani think Borriello is the answer to our attacking problems, then they must be very very high. We the fans want to see them make the right moves, not the wrong ones even if they were honest about them. We are AC Milan, one of the biggest and richest clubs in the world, not some second rated Serie B team, so we shouldn't be satisfied with lackluster mercatos every single summer.

The only way Mgmt would be able to make evryone happy would be to:
a) buy Drogba, Gomez, Benzema and Berbatov
b) buy Mexes, Alex, Zapata, and Ramos
c) buy Alves, Zambrotta and Vargas.
d) win the Serie A and UCL every season, and the Coppa Italia every other year.
e) win the European. Super Cup and World Club Cup every season without fail.
f) develop the best italian talent in our Primavera team
g) buy R10, Diego, Robinho, Nasri and Quaresma.

Regarding Paloschi;Paloschi is maturing quickly and progressing quickly, thats important for young players.Di Gennaro is a great talent, he was better talent than Paloschi at Primavera level but he stopped his progress and didnt mature enough.Just look at Paloschi,he has everything that a coach could asks for.

He has grit and determination,he takes responsibility,he has great self confidence, these factors are very important.he uses his body well, quick, mobile, skilled and strong e.t.c.

Reggina is great chance for him so that he needs to play with regularity.

Regarding Management,im not happy with them cuz,

I am not sure if Di Gennaro was better talent than Paloschi at Primavera level as Paloschi played last season (06/07) for Allievi and than moved this year to Primavera. He should actually play in Berretti this season (07/08) according to his age (1990 year of birth).

As he played in Coppa, he showed his ability with great performance (which I think Di Gennaro couldnt do it CMIIW) for a striker who just came from Allievi's squad.

I am talking talent here as general, not only skill with or dribbling the ball.

You have to understand the fact that records dont tell all the stories here. Sure, 10 years ago, we didn't have a very good record, but the key difference there was that the management was actively trying to build a good team. I am not saying I do not like our record for the past half decade or so, but not a whole lot of those records came from the brilliant moves made by the management during that course of time. What I am upset about is not the records itself but much rather our management's performance in that they make one mistake after another while refusing to invest in any major players that the team need. The team didn't perform badly, but it is quite a different tale when it comes to the management's decisions.

As far as the transfer list goes, some posters did like those signings. Hell, I will admit I wasn't against all of them myself. But that's the key difference between the management and the fans. The management is supposed to know better than us. They are supposed to know whether a player will fit in or not, or at least make a somewhat educated guess. Looking at that transfer list, I honestly doubt the capabilities of our scouts as they don't seem to know what they are doing. When you have such a high failure rate, something is wrong here. I for one didn't know who was going to succeed or fail (although I did make a pretty good guess on Oliveira), and it seems to me that the management isn't doing that much better than me, which is definitely not good enough.

Look, I understand that not everything should be blamed on the management because they are human afterall. The problem is that you seem to let them off the hook on everything. Whenever something goes wrong, it is not their fault no matter how involved they were in it. The management is responsible for the decline in quality of this team and their performance on the market. And to say it is not their fault is just wrong.

The mercato has barely begun, several teams are in the process of dismantling themselves...Valencia, Barca, and possibly Chelski...its a bit impractical to say they haven't done anything, or won't do anything, when for the first time in recent memory, they have actually stated the amount of players being targetted in addition to the qualitiy/level player being sought...and an important signing, and one of the potential signings of the summer...Flamini, was made b4 the mercato even opened!!!

It would b imprudent at best, and stupid @ worst to make our purchases now, without awaiting the fall-out in the other big-teams, as well as the outcome of negotiations we have already commenced.

Pointless to stress at this point, IMO.

I know they are rumours about Boriello and nothing concrete yet, but I really am very disappointed in the management. Alot of promise on bringing big name strikers and they bring in Boriello? Who had a great season with 19 goals (5 penalties, 2 hat-tricks)? It does not take a genius to see that Boriello was just having a good season and he was overachieving. When you see Boriello play for Italy you could see he wasnt all that, when he played for Milan he definitely wasn't all that.

Milan is a team that negotiates for every penny (remember Gila, Ronaldo, and now Ronaldinho and Zambrotta)..if it is true that we have bought 50% of Boriello's contract back for 6 million AND gave them Antonini AND gave them 50% of DiGennaro then this would be prolly the worst deal I've seen Galliani do. First off Boriello is no way Milan material, second off he is NOO WAY worth that much. And I forgot to mention, it is rumoured that he was given a 3m per season contract for 5 years (and other rumours of him getting a starting spot).. I mean what the hell is going on?

I still can't believe we did such a deal, no way Galliani will accept to these shameful numbers and conditions by a player really not even worth half of Gilardino. I'll only believe it when I see it..

i guess he leaves for good things to both side. actually i am still hoping that he can back to his best performance in the future. but apparently he couldn't worked out with Milan's system. so i wish him luck and hope the best for him :v103:

i dont know if this news is already posted before but here it is.

Pool close on Dossena
Udinese defender Andrea Dossena is set to join Liverpool, according to Italian sources. Reports suggest that the Serie A club’s sporting director Pietro Leonardi held successful talks with Reds Coach Rafa Benitez earlier this week. Benitez sees the £9m-rated left back as an ideal replacement for John Arne Riise, whose future is in doubt. However, the Merseyside giants will need to fight off Juventus and Tottenham who also have eyes for the 26-year-old stopper.

Good for Milan and Fiorentina that Gilardino is off. Gila doesn't fit with the system, and he is in no way close to Inzaghi's instinct goalscoring. He needs to have support and needs the confidence from people, something that he really never gets from anyone in Milan.

Good luck Gila, make sure you don't score against Milan :).

If Oliveira and Gila have moved on, then good riddance. We cannot proceed to bring in 7-8 new players if we dont get rid of the old underperforming ones, so good.

I dont know why some of you are complaining about Boriello. The whole point of loaning him out was to see how he'd fare---if he did badly or average, then we sell him at a cut price to a small club, if he did fairly well, he may earn a move to a mid-table team, if he does very well, then he may earn himself a place back with us. I think he's had an awesome season--an Italian playing in serie a for many years, and has now earned his place in the Italian NT. Who's to say that the other names you have mentioned: Drogba, Adebayor, etc would succeed and Boriello flop? I think he's earned his way back to Milan basaed on his performances.

If we get Boriello, then our targetmen will be Pippo, Boriello, plus or minus Pato, and our supporting playmakers would be Kaka, Dinho plus or minus Pato/Seedorf. That looks pretty good to me. Imagine a Brazilian trident of Kaka, Dinho, Pato with Boriello and Pippo on the bench...

Still alot of players who need moving from Milan - Favalli, Dida, Emerson, Simic, Kalac, Fiori, Brocchi. Gourcuff needs to go as Carlo has no faith at all. IMO we'll fail even signing Zambrotta, R10 because our wb aren't good enough, and we don't have a box to box midfielder. IMO Nesta, Kaladze, & Bonera are decent enough. Would love to have Zapata, but kpr, wb, striker, followed by box mid should be our priority. Lloris/Frey/Amelia, Alaves/Rafinha/De Silvestri/???, Eto'o/Drogba/Benezma, box mid - Deco/Afellay/Lampard.

6mil is only for his half. we own half of him, remember? so his price is 12m + 2 most talented players
no comment on the young players part as we are so famous at that lol
edit: oh.. the oliveira part confirms that we dont know what we r doing..

yes, 6m is for half, but let's not forget that in this past year his price has sky rocketed due to his impressive season. It's similar to someone like Amauri, who after this season has probably doubled his value of a year ago.

As for the two players, from what I've heard, Antonini is included whilst Di Gennaro will go on loan. I would be a little disappointed if that's true, as I don't think Antonini plus 6m is worth it, but it's hardly the end of the world.

As for Oliveira, Zaragoza exercised their right, as was stated by the contract. The management offered a year ago for them to make a full purchase for 10m euros, and they did that. The management cannot say no as they had already agreed to it (and put it in writing) a long time ago.

I thought that Di Gennaro plays as AM or midfield not as a striker? Correct me if I'm wrong.

He's an AM for sure. He's a playmaker to be most correct.

I read this morning on goal.com that the Dossena deal might be in trouble as Italian clubs (namely Juve and Fio) have shown great interest and he'd prefer to stay in Italy. I'm guessing he's on Milan's list of potential players, along with Vargas.

They were all unwanted by them when we bought them.

Well considering their poor levels of fitness, I think it's obvious why they were unwanted. We bought them at quite substantial sum of money, and if the poster that I quoted before said that they are idiots, then what adjective should we call our team with?

for boriello part, i dont see why he couldnt perform in our system in the past, can perform next season UNDER THE SAME SYSTEM. anyways lets just wait and see

for the oliveira part, i didnt mean to say our board can say a thing or not. look at the big picture, we bought him and didnt play him, and loan him, and then sell him... so whats the point? what did our scout think? what did the management think when buying him? shouldnt we think if a player could fit into our system BEFORE buying him? yeah yeah.. i meant all kinds of that stuff.. not any right to object zara from buying him.. b/c honestly i dont care (and dont know) about oliveira.. i thought his affair could be for the money wash or something for the president, but not football related.

Tgcom say it will be 12 mill euros plus Jankulovski and Gourcoff on loan. That is a fair deal to be honest, and i would prefer gorky to get experience in italy.

Jankulovski didnt really feature much last season soo...

Hmmmmmm :dontkn: I won't even try to work that out, but how disingenius are these papers anyway?

The world knows that we are after 2 to 3 Barca players....it would be no surprise to me if one of our players were to move in exchange or partial exchange.

Its almost a no brainer....but they have a "scoop" and people (especially Barca supporters) will grab up those papers to read that news!

The GAZZETTA claim that Milan are after Evra and Mancini.
This is hard to belive but they have speculations and they say that Milan
offer money+Gorky+Boriello (this is way it sounds not true) and also that Evra is ending his contract next season and he can leave this summer for a good offer.

and we might aswell get Zambro back to Italy :D

Barcelona full-back Gianluca Zambrotta has revealed that he wants to join Milan this summer as he misses Italy.

The Azzurri ace joined the Spanish giants from Juventus two seasons ago, but he hasn't been able to settle into life at the Nou Camp.

“It is nice to be in Spain because there are many big clubs, but my wish is to return to Italy,” confessed the 31-year-old.

“Joining Milan? Not yet. The two clubs have had a meeting but the negotiations are still ongoing and there is nothing written down. But it would be nice to go back.

“My home is in Como, which is 40 minutes away from Milanello.”

The Catalans have set their asking price at £8m but the Milanesi are hoping to seal the deal for £6m.

“Milan have failed to win the Scudetto for many years, and I hope that next season - with or without me - they will win it,” added the former Juventus man.

“Right now I am focusing on the national team, but I can still think about my transfer.”

Zambrotta concluded by giving his opinion on Barça teammate Ronaldinho, who could also join Milan this summer.

“He has got a good chance of coming to Italy. When he is at his best he can still make a difference. But if I could I would also sign Samuel Eto'o.”

http://www.channel4.com/sport/football_italia/may26e.html

Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani is to fly to Barcelona to iron out a deal for Blaugrana defender Gianluca Zambrotta.

The 31-year-old World Cup winner is eager to leave Camp Nou after two trophy-less seasons.

Galliani will have dinner with Barcelona chairman Joan Laporta to discuss the Italian’s asking price.

Milan have already made an offer for the former Juventus stopper, but it is believed to have fallen £3.5m short of the Culés’ valuation.

Silvio Berlusconi’s right-hand man will also put forward a proposal for Barcelona’s want-away forwards, Samuel Eto’o and Ronaldinho.

Laporta, last week, made it clear that Ronaldinho did not have a future with the Catalan giant’s.

Any deal for Eto’o is unlikely to involve the Brazilian given their antipathy towards each other.

Geo tav fernando is he any good? Let us drop the management argument and concentrate on this thread its self, its not right to argue with fans (whom i respect) who want our club to have 1.5 billion in debt just to satisfy their own dreams and to have a dominating team on playstation, as for reality they have no respect for some players who donot think of them as humen only football players, i just hope of those glory hunters to evaluate their support maybe they'll find a teams who will satisfy their weekends, for me i'd take milan(ba, brocchi, simic, diago, DIDA,emeson) anyday for a million star team whose investing each year. I really want to see what crudelli might say about it, FORZA MILAN, FORZA BERLU, FORZA GALLIANI

Fernando from where ?? lol

And like you, I'll be a Milan fan forever, simply because this club is special ... I don't know any other club able to give a contract to a guy who will never play again simply because he's in a bad part of his life.

I'm not angry with our management simply because all that is football, of course I like my favourite team being 1st in Serie A or winning every competition (CL especially), there are some players I don't really like (Ronaldo, Emerson for example) but they are Milan players, so I support them until they go (it's a bit different from the ones I like and that I'll hope the best for them even when they'll leave, like Gilardino for example).
There's no need to say "our management is ***** or **** or ******", the same people made us winning everything, so if they fail to build a new team for 2-3 years and then succeed to build the next best team in world for the following 5-6 years, that's ok for me.

And it was said many times: mercato isn't started yet !!

PS: The real difference between Milan and other big clubs is that they are a sum of players, we are a team.

Figo also will stay one more year!

Just imagine: Ibrahimovic, Drogba, Lampard, Deco, Figo, Cambiasso, Vieira, Stankovic..... :p146:

Now we definitely need more than Borriello and Flamini if we are gonna win il Scudetto!

Minimum Ronaldinho, Eto'o up front plus one more midfielder, and many defenders!

What makes u guys think Chelsea will just sell Lampard and Drogba and whoever to THE SPECIAL ONE.

I mean if I am Roman, I would never sell these players to the team that runs by JM. I will even double their current wage or do all that I can in order to not see them playing for JM. And pls don't say anything about Art. 17, as no player has even try to use that b/c nobody want to bear the consequences(which I don't know what that is).

I for one would love to see Inter sign JM, b/c if that is the case and Chelsea wants to sell Lampard, Essien, Drogba and others, Chelsea will sell them to Inter's rival's teams just to piss JM off.

Regarding Mancini,he is good player no problem but yet he is predictable and doesnt have the continuity on the game, this is why i'd be againist his move to us.

Eto'o is great player no doubt,if we sign Eto'o,we have to sign a complete midfielder like Hamsik and 2 attacking wing back who can provide the width that Eto'o and Kaka needs.else its very risky to have 2 players like Eto'o and Kaka' who are less decisive when they dont find enough space especially vs the teams that closed down very well.

TBH If we don't get Drog you won't see me crying. No use rebuilding with Old/Used material no matter how strong the building it came from was. Gomez should be our primary target and getting a winger and Zambrotta is good enough for me....perhaps a CB or two would be nice too :)

Yes, what I know he is an attacking midfielder who plays behind strikers but in Bologna he plays in other position if I am not mistaken.

Since Sheva left that's what I said, don't splash millions on an old guy but to be honest that lead us to the position we are in now instead of getting good young players we ended up with nobody. Our strikers we have now are either to young (Pato) or to old (Inzaghi) to be our main striker. We need an 28-31 year old player who can make an imediate impact. I'dd prefer another player but I would settle for Drogba or even Sheva if we get him for peanuts

Great post Warro (with such intelligence in his posts it's hard to believe that Warro's parents aren't Trini :guw: ) We are talking about the same team that had (nearly all at the same time too) Baggio, Ronaldo, Zamorano, Sukur, Crespo, Batigol, Seedorf, Pirlo in attack :wow: Inter always has had the highest rated players. So I'm not scared by the stature of names arriving on the fruity side of Milan. What I AM scared about is that JM KNOWS how to win (whether that be by fair means or not is another issue)....and having a squad of this calibre would only increase his chances....the good thing is that Carlo knows how to win too ;)
Carletto has Roasted Lippi, Mancini, Ferguson, Mourinho, Hitzfeld, Rijkaard, Del Bosque, Spaletti, Prandelli, Cuper,Benitez etc etc. Of Course the only top rated coaches that did a number on him were Benitez (Istanbul), Irueta (depor) and Wenger :wallbang:

How would we play Mancini? All of our wing play comes from fullbacks. If we sign Mancini, we'd probably need to get another winger, or play someone out of position. I don't want Mancini anyway. He's a great player, but he has an attitude that this team doesn't need.

Evra is an amazing left back, but i doubt Man Utd will sell him. These rumors will probably end up in him getting a much better contract than the one he already has.

About Borriello and Gila. Gila had his chances and it is clear that he is not Milan caliber. Let's wait and see Borriello getting the chance he deserves. I dont think he will be our starting CF. Coming from the bench, Borriello is a useful addition to the team.

As about Mancini, i cant see Roma selling him to us. But with or without Mancini, we DO need a winger to make our game more unpredictable.
